Top Ten Grunge Punk Bands

Similar to my Top Ten Grunge Metal bands, I will be focusing on grunge bands that are also considered punk. And although the Melvins are primarily sludge metal, they are slightly hardcore punk so I'm going to add them in. Yet post-punk does not count, since let's be honest, post-punk is not very punk at all (yet it is a great genre).

6 Fecal Matter Fecal Matter was a short-lived punk rock band from Aberdeen, Washington. The group was formed in 1985 by Kurt Cobain, the future front man of the grunge band Nirvana, along with Dale Crover of The Melvins and drummer Greg Hokanson.
7 Babes in Toyland
8 Hole Hole was an American alternative rock band that formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989 by singer and guitarist Courtney Love and lead guitarist Eric Erlandson.
