No, nostalgia is because we tend to remember the good times and every time we revisit the memory, we romanticize it even more because we modify memories to fit our mood. Which is why a person can say, go on a rollercoaster and spend the whole time terrified out of their wits, and retell the story like it was exhilarating and fun. It rather shows how our memories are unreliable emotion wise.
