This should be up with Coraline for scariest kid-friendly movie. The boat trip ended up with a tunnel sequence showing imagery that was WAY TOO SCARY for kids and even scary for grown men. Plus Wonka's poem was just too scary to listen to. Everyone got nightmares from it and so did I.
