10 1930s

It was a trying decade for the World, but this decade produced lots of heroes the world over like Jesse Owens, boxing immortal Joe Louis who won the heavyweight title and then beat Max Schmeling for America. The NFL had Sammy Baugh and Cliff Battles and Don Hutson and Mel Hein, while baseball had still Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, but that decade also brought new kids like Joe DiMaggio, Bob Feller and that kid named Ted Williams while Hank Luisetti scored well in basketball.
