Top 10 Reasons Why Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a Great Film

This is what Star Wars needed. This movie is great, though not perfect. The Star Wars fan base is far too toxic, and because their theories did not turn out as they expected, they label this movie as bad.

There are not actually any plot holes, not even one:

1. You did not like how Snoke died or that we did not learn anything about him. Well, remember that when the original trilogy came out, we did not know the Emperor's origins either, and he also died in a seemingly anticlimactic way.

2. The death of Captain Phasma. Do you remember Boba Fett? He had one line in the entire original trilogy and died without accomplishing much. At least Phasma had more dialogue and contributed to the plot. Plus, she had a unique suit because she was THE CAPTAIN.

3. Luke's behavior. I do not remember anyone complaining about the fact that Yoda and Obi-Wan were different from before and that they did not help the Rebellion. Luke was broken. He believed he had to kill Ben because it was too late to save him. When Luke was about to kill Vader, he sensed the Force in him, which is why he spared him.

4. Holdo not telling her plan to Poe. Come on, this one is easy. Just analyze it. It was revealed that somehow the First Order tracked the Rebellion through their light-speed jumps. That suggests there might be a traitor, right? So how could she reveal her plan when a possible traitor could leak it to the First Order?

5. Luke's death. People are mad because Luke died and did not physically fight, and because there were some unknown Force powers introduced. Let us be real. In every major franchise, new abilities or tricks are added. That is not unusual. Plus, making Luke's final showdown a mental and spiritual battle rather than a physical one was something new and unexpected, which is rare for a franchise that often follows the same formula.

6. Rey being the daughter of peasants. This criticism is ridiculous. How could fans have seriously expected her to be the daughter of Obi-Wan when he died decades earlier (in the timeline)?
