Top 10 Best Star Wars Video Games
Everything you could ask for in a Star Wars video game: epic ground battles, thrilling space dogfights, both spanning across the prequels and original trilogy, playable classic characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, many planets and maps from the movies, plus a campaign mode that spans the prequels and original trilogy. The best Star Wars video game ever made.
Great game. It brought the scale of the Star Wars universe to your console. Play as Yoda, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and many more of the classic Star Wars heroes and villains. Pilot X-wings in space battles or play as a clone on Geonosis. This game had it all.
An amazing game with memorable characters and a great story that is pure Star Wars. The ending was so strong that I clapped. This game set the standard for RPG storytelling until Bethesda came along with their later Fallout and Elder Scrolls games.
This game doesn't have as much recognition as it deserves. If this was on PS2 at release, it'd easily be #1 on this list.
The memorable characters, the phenomenal story, the exploration, the dialogue choices having weight to the story. This game was my reason to even own an Xbox. Not Halo. This masterpiece.
Best game LEGO has ever made, period. Lego Marvel Superheroes doesn't even come close to this amazing game.
I have been playing video games since NES. This game is just so awesome! I have it for Wii. Great game.
Hilarious! This was the first LEGO game to do Star Wars right, though it will definitely be dethroned by Skywalker Saga.
The main story wasn't the best, but the DLC where you could play as the Sith Lord version of Starkiller was awesome! When he defeated Luke and turned him to the dark side, I was like, He is definitely the most powerful Sith Lord ever!
Legendary game. In The Force Unleashed II, you get to bring and crash down an Imperial Star Destroyer!
AMAZING. I could never get past that one junkyard planet, though.
In my opinion, this is the best Star Wars game of all time.
The writing is amazing. The characters are just as interesting as in the first game. The gameplay has improved. Being a Jedi or a Sith is even better. You really feel like you are either helping the galaxy or making it a darker place.
The planets are amazing. The weapons, upgrading system, and crafting system are amazing. Replayability is amazing. Mod support is amazing. The only downside is G0-T0.
Amazing game.
The only Star Wars game I have is really interesting. It's set 3,000 years before the Battle of Endor. It totally takes Star Wars to a new, interesting level.
This one should definitely be one of the top tens. It had good gameplay and classes for a starter. Jedi Academy should definitely be in the top ten as well, not Force Unleashed.
A great, fun game! I had the second one and wanted to try the first, and I was not disappointed. The campaign isn't as fun as in Battlefront II, but the maps are awesome!
This game and Battlefront II are both very good games. If you're looking for canonical accuracy, play Battlefront. If you want smooth, customizable gameplay, play Battlefront II.
This game was really memorable when it first launched for multiple reasons. Now that it's on Nintendo Switch, it's even better!
This game had the best lightsaber combat out of any Star Wars game. It was very enjoyable, although it lacks some of the depth that games like KOTOR have.
Get it on PC for the mod Knights of the Force!
Great game. Lengthy stories that don't negate the other classes. Eight classes, sixteen subclasses, thirty-two skill trees, two possible endings for each class. That's sixty-four ways to play the game. How can a Star Wars fan not like it? Especially since it's been free to play.
I always end up wanting to like this game more because it just delivers on so many levels. The storylines are amazing, the gameplay is cool too, and it has some of the best characters.
Awesome game. SWTOR is so great because of the dialogue choices, companions, stories, and the ability to choose your own path. This game is the best Star Wars game ever.
This game is like the clone trooper version of Spec-Ops. Good gameplay due to the diversity of missions, locations, CIS troops, and creepy atmosphere in certain parts. This and Revenge of the Sith should definitely replace Lego and Force Unleashed big time.
I love this game with a passion. The year is currently 2015, and the graphics, gameplay, and storyline still hold up remarkably well. I enjoy it each and every time I play through it.
How is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed even on the list? This game is far better and should be in the top 5.
This game is fun despite all the controversy. When it comes to pure gaming Star Wars fun, it excels, and that's what games are for.
I love this game! I don't know how much time I've spent playing it, but I've enjoyed it through and through!
This game is underrated, with a great campaign and even better multiplayer modes. WAY better than Battlefront (2015).
Don't care if it's short. This guy is so cool.
Just as good as the film. And as exciting!
Amazing game! Better than the movie.
I feel like this should be higher on the list. This game gave you all the force powers and lightsaber capabilities you could want when it came out, and it's aged well. Also, Kyle Katarn's revenge mission is one of the cooler stories to come out of the EU.
Just got it yesterday for my old Xbox, and it is really good.
It's good. Not great, but good. If you play Battlefront II, you would agree. You would only agree if you play the whole game with DLCs included. Multiplayer is okay, if you ask me. It's more fun in single-player if you are playing with someone.
What is everyone's problem with this game? The only main issue is that it just has the classic trilogy. Besides that, I thought it had decent multiplayer, though no campaign. The best mode is definitely the dark side. Being Darth Vader, crushing rebels on Hoth? Awesome.
Dexter's Diner was a way better hub than Mos Eisley Cantina.
For once, there is an EA game without microtransactions, and it was done perfectly. The only negative thing about it is that every now and then, the textures don't load properly. However, the combat actually feels like a Star Wars game.
The plot is incredible despite Cal being both ginger and a very typical game character. The lightsaber duels are fantastic, and the ending I'm sure made every fanboy squeal. I am not going to spoil it for people who have not played it, but you should definitely play it.
The most recent game keeps the Star Wars feel through its great storyline while borrowing gameplay from other franchises.
I really love this game. It reminds me a lot of Total War, which is my favorite game series. If you got this game off Steam, I really recommend you try out the mods because they are a lot more fun.
This game is a gem. Smooth gameplay, great balancing, and many hours of gameplay. It was really addicting. Very great RTS and way better than Battlefront II.
This game should be number two on the list.
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter should be in the top ten. I have this game and it is AWESOME! A great, original storyline that explains how Jango Fett became the clone template. While some levels (cough, Tatooine, cough) are difficult, it is great fun overall.
My dad and I spent hours on this. I miss Star Wars: The Clone Wars game too. Seeing those bulges of firefights...
I love how I played it in the past, so that is why I am voting for it.
This is the best one, primarily due to the awesome boss fights with the best villains: Maw, Boc, Gorc, Pic, Jerec, Sariss, and Yun.
One of the best SNES games. Outstanding soundtrack until today!
