Best Strapping Young Lad and Devin Townsend Albums
Devin Townsend is one of my favorite musicians, he has made a lot of albums with his solo project as well as his more well known metal band Strapping Young Lad. This basically is a list compiling of everything this guys has worked on, so this includes all Strapping Young Lad, Devin Townsend Project and The Devin Townsend Band albums. What do you think is his greatest album?
The most chaotic and anger-filled metal album I have heard. It's one of the heaviest metal records recorded and it's absolutely awesome
Devin Townsend released two amazing albums in 1997 one with his solo project the other with SYL
Deadhead, Suicide, Storm and Away are some of the best things he written. This is probably my favorite album the guy has worked on ever. It's just the right amount of atmosphere, emotion and heaviness.
The second best Strapping Young Lad album in my opinion. It has one of the band's most well known songs as well as one of their heaviest.
Devin goes more for a comedy route here and it absolutely works. This album still has some genuine songs like Hyperdrive.
This is one of his more well known solo albums, it's pretty good but I prefer most of his other works.
Devin Townsend still has that anger from his Strapping Young Lad days in him as this has some pretty SYL-like songs in it
A musical masterpiece. The accumulation of all of Devin's musical abilities crammed into one glorious album.
The last Strapping Young Lad album and a very good one at that.
The title says it all. This album is epic!
The third Strapping Young Lad album may not be the band's greatest but it's still pretty good overall.
