Best Clint Eastwood Westerns

The Top Ten
1 The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Ironic that the best Clint Eastwood Western has Eastwood's Blondie in a supporting role. It's the bromance between him and the protagonist Tuco (Eli Wallach) that makes the movie so enjoyable, the way that these two actors play off each other.
The story is deceptively simple. The cinematography is gorgeous and so is the soundtrack. The comedy is pitch perfect.
My only slight nitpick is that Lee Van Cleef's Angel Eyes is too boring a character, but at least the film doesn't try to tell too many story's like 2008's 'The Good, the Bad, the Weird'.
This is Tuco's story, after all.

The final showdown is so epic

2 The Outlaw Josey Wales
3 Unforgiven
4 Pale Rider
5 A Fistful of Dollars

Basically 'Yojimbo' with cowboys, but it has enough filmmaking ingenuity for it to be almost its own thing.

6 High Plains Drifter
7 For a Few Dollars More
8 Hang 'Em High
9 Two Mules for Sister Sara
10 Paint Your Wagon
