Top 10 TrollfesT Songs
Not to be confused with Finntroll (Finnish folk metal band).Trollfest (stylized as TrollfesT) are a Norwegian folk metal band. Their songs and videos are funny but unlike most of the folk metal bands, TrollfesT stuff is pretty heavy.
Trollfest was formed in 2003 and released their debut album in 2005.
Genres: Folk metal, Melodic death metal,True Norwegian Balkan Metal, Metalcore, Avant-garde metal.
What they call True Norwegian Balkan Metal is their version of folk tunes from the Balkan region of Europe (Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Romania). Balkan region is quite far from Norway so the name sounds really funny (imagine True Brazilian Irish Metal).
Trollfest use saxophones and accordions in their songs. Most of their lyrics are written in the fictional Trollspråk, which is a mixture of Norwegian and German.
