Top 10 Worst Cartoon Fathers

Top terrible and awful cartoon fathers you would hate to have as your dad.
The Top Ten
Peter Griffin - Family Guy Peter Griffin is the main protagonist and titular character of the American animated sitcom Family Guy.

He is a bad father. Watch a couple of modern episodes and you'll see what I mean. Although Homer does choke Bart at times, doesn't care for his family at times, and is addicted to donuts and beer, he is a good father and cares for his children. Peter literally shot his daughter. Homer choking Bart has nothing on that!

Although Mr. Krabs definitely takes the cake as the most annoying (I don't really find Peter annoying), Peter is way worse than him. When watching modern SpongeBob a while back, I thought Mr. Krabs was the worst cartoon father until I saw this monstrosity! Also, I bet Homer wouldn't shoot his kids or hide any injuries his children sustained from Marge!

Fire Lord Ozai - Avatar the Last Airbender

He's one of the most abusive, horrible fathers in all of fiction. He treated his son terribly, put a huge burn across his face, banished him, and sent him to do something he thought was impossible. He manipulated his daughter into becoming a psychopath and almost let her rule but didn't even love her. That realization made her have a breakdown. Seriously, this guy was horrible.

He treated Zuko terribly, burned his son's face, banished him just for speaking up, and sent him to do something he thought was impossible. He never loved Zuko and turned Azula into a monster. Because of him, Azula never understood the value of love and friendship, which turned her mad. The worst father in the history of fathers.

Mr. Krabs - SpongeBob SquarePants Eugene H. Krabs, or simply Mr. Krabs, is a fictional character in the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants.

He ruined almost all of Pearl's birthday parties because he wouldn't stop being cheap. He cares more about money than about his own daughter. What a selfish jerk. He even gave Pearl dead batteries for Christmas. Seriously, who does that?

Krabs cares little for Pearl. He cares more about money. He ruins everything for Pearl.

His own worker did a better job taking care of his daughter than he did himself.

Cotton Hill - King of the Hill
Homer Simpson - The Simpsons Homer Jay Simpson is the main protagonist of the American animated television series The Simpsons as the patriarch of the eponymous family.

One of the dumbest, fattest, and drunkest fathers EVER.

Hugh Test - Johnny Test

The man is just too self-absorbed and pathetic to be a father.

Royce Lumpkin - The Simpsons

There are many bad things about him that describe him as an unlikeable and undesirable human being. Mainly, he's the one person who has hurt his son the most. He also killed his own daughter's boyfriend for selfish and stupid reasons.

He doesn't think of his family at all, and he is more selfish than Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin.

I hate him. He's so annoying, ruined South Park, and is a terrible father. He pulled a gun on his own son.

Lao Beifong - Avatar: The Last Airbender
Mr. Burns - The Simpsons Charles Montgomery Plantagenet Schicklgruber "Monty" Burns, usually referred to as Charles Montgomery Burns or simply Mr. Burns, is a recurring character in the animated television series The Simpsons, voiced initially by Christopher Collins, and currently by Harry Shearer.

If you think Mr. Burns can't get any crueler, there's the fact that he has a son named Larry Burns (voiced by Rodney Dangerfield). He abandoned him as an infant. When Larry finally sees Burns at his gift shop kiosk on a desert road, all Larry wants is for his father to accept him as a son. It was a fool's errand due to Mr. Burns thinking that Larry is an embarrassment to the family line.

Le Var (Freight Train) Brown - The Cleveland Show

LeVar is a horrible father. He beats up Cleveland and cheats on Evelyn.

Francis Griffin - Family Guy

Actually, he wasn't his real father, but he still SUCKS with his close-minded anti-Protestantism, and Lois is actually Jewish and all...

Burn in hell. You raised Peter Griffin, and we all know how he turned out.

Richard Watterson - The Amazing World of Gumball Richard Watterson is the father of Gumball, Darwin, and Anais in the animated series The Amazing World of Gumball.
Frank Murphy - F Is For Family
Stephen Stotch - South Park

He grounds Butters for no reason at all. It was very satisfying to see Leopold 'Butters' Stotch punch him.

Why are Homer and Randy much higher than Stephen?

He grounds Butters for the pettiest reasons.

Glenn Quagmire - Family Guy Glenn Quagmire, often referred to as just Quagmire, is a character from the animated television series Family Guy.

Peter may be one of the worst fathers in history, but at least he sees his children. All Quagmire does is get random women pregnant and leave them with no support. He never learns from his mistakes. Also, keep in mind that he nicknamed his daughter Anal and wanted to do her once she turned 18. He put her up for adoption because she was ruining his sex life. That's why he should've been in second place.

Quagmire has had sex with women all over the world and probably has a lot of kids he never sees. In one episode, after he gives up his daughter to a couple, he says to Peter, "Who knows, maybe I'll bump into her at 16." Peter says, "What?" and his response is, "Come on, Peter, you don't think I've changed that much?" This indicates that he's planning to do whatever he normally does to his own daughter.

Big Bob Pataki - Hey Arnold

He can never remember Helga's name and always favored Olga over her.

Mr. Turner - The Fairly Oddparents
Early Cuyler - Squidbillies

If you look up deadbeat abusive father in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of Early Cuyler from Squidbillies. He can't hold a job, abuses the law and his family, and only cares about himself.

Early might actually be worse than Peter Griffin.

Shredder - TMNT 2012

If you think Splinter is a bad father, then you have forgotten about Oroku Saki, aka The Shredder. After causing the fire that killed Shen and caused grief to Hamato Yoshi, Saki abducted a baby Karai and raised her to hate her true father. The truth is, Shredder does not love Karai. He just wants to use her to spite Splinter. Shredder is an inhuman monster who deserves to die by either the Turtles or Karai's hand.

Shredder was bad in 2012. But in 2003, he was worse. He raised Karai for even worse. He is post-apocalyptic. He made Karai try to kill Splinter.

Clay Puppington - Moral Orel

Um, hello, this man shot his son, mentally and physically abused him, and made him lose faith in God. Even if he had a rough childhood, his behavior is totally unnecessary. He should not have taken it out on poor Orel. In my opinion, he actually deserves to be higher up on the list.

He got drunk and shot his son, blamed him for it, didn't treat the wound, and acted like it wasn't his fault since he didn't remember doing it. Absolute scum.

Let's not forget that he shot his own son and frequently abuses him.
