Top Ten Best Dragon Ball Super Characters
DBSuper, new upcoming series at the time of me writing this.Vegeta is the only character who is developing in an interesting way. Goku is good, but as a story character, Vegeta is the best. Goku has been the same from the beginning, so there is no interest in watching him the same way.
But Vegeta is interesting to watch. He is the character who brings suspense and sweetness to the story. Other characters are fixed in their behavior. So, Vegeta is the best character in the entire Dragon Ball series.
Just when I thought he couldn't get any better, he surpasses everything I've ever expected him to be. He's become so much more open about his affection for his family and isn't afraid to admit that they're his source of strength now.
This is a far cry from his words when he was Majin.
Even though Goku didn't defeat Toppo, he managed to defeat the invincible fighter in Universe 11, Jiren. Yes, he had to unlock his Ultra Instinct to defeat him, but he did so before Vegeta unlocked his Ultra Blue form.
Goku and Vegeta both fought Jiren but never surpassed him. Vegeta was eliminated from the battle due to natural causes. Goku turned into his Ultra Instinct form because Vegeta gave Goku the rest of his ki and stamina, hoping Goku could defeat Jiren.
As the two characters battled to the death for the wish, Frieza appeared out of nowhere and helped defeat Jiren. Time passed, and Android 17, who had sacrificed himself for Goku and Vegeta, returned as a legend.
They all fought Jiren to secure the wish for their universe. Ultimately, Universe 7 won, and Goku was the most successful in the squad. Dragon Ball is amazing.
Kid Trunks is awesome. He should've been good friends with Uub, not someone like Goten.
Doesn't matter if it's Future or Present Trunks. They're both awesome!
Trunks is the bomb. Badass to the core. Kid Trunks is the cutest.
Piccolo has grown to be an incredible teacher, tactician, and leader. He possibly has the widest variety of skills in his arsenal. I love seeing him overpower opponents with both his strength and intellect!
Once again, Bulma is the only useful female around. I love her. Her relationship with Vegeta is so cute and fun to watch.
Definitely the best new character introduced since the Cell arc.
Without a doubt, the most badass character introduced in Super so far.
Hit is the most unique and best new character introduced in Super.
One look, and this guy reeks of charisma. He should have come above Piccolo.
Both badass and funny. I can't wait to see his relationship with Champa.
He should get the Dragon Balls and wish to be higher than Trunks.
Whis is amazing! His love for food is hilarious.
The best villain ever. He did his best in the Tournament of Power and is one of my favorites.
Best character in the Universe Survival Arc. He should be much higher on this list! He wouldn't be my first, but seeing him so low, I had to show the support he deserves.
He is the most charismatic fighter, even matched with the likes of Goku, Vegeta, and Jiren.
After all, he was the only one who survived the most prestigious tournament of all time.
I think he is the second best. He won the Tournament of Power, saved his sister many times, and has an unlimited amount of energy.
The Newcomers
Gohan, the son of Goku and student of the Supreme Kai, has learned numerous unbeatable skills at a young age. He is powerful and has a strategic mind at the same time.
He was trained by Piccolo, Goku, and Supreme Kai, and has the skills and mindset of all these warriors. He believes in teamwork and strategic planning. He has surpassed his father and the other Saiyans many times.
Being a half-Saiyan, he is the strongest I've ever seen.
Ever since he went Ultimate, they made him weak. Hopefully, they make a comeback for him.
"Creating art one's master cannot understand is an insult towards him."
He is the only character to consistently beat both Goku and Vegeta without fail. Vegeta even went back in time, trained for a whole year in the time chamber, then returned to beat Black.
It took Black a small beatdown and a speech from Vegeta, only for him to get up and open another can of whoop-ass on both Goku and Vegeta. Clearly a powerhouse, he holds more than a candle to both of them.
While more interesting things could have been done with him, he's still my favorite character in Super so far.
One of the best villains so far in DBS. His power level is off the charts. He gave SSJ Blue Goku and Vegeta good competition.
It's painful to see Jiren at such a low place on this list. Those who watched DBS episodes will know the real hype Jiren created even before the start of the Tournament of Power. "There lives a mortal stronger than a god of destruction."
The first confrontation between Jiren and Goku was incredible. Jiren destroyed the main protagonist of a long-running anime series. He is a character with self-righteousness and enormous power. All the viewers hoped Jiren would bring out Goku's real power.
Though Jiren's backstory is kind of boring, he defeated Hit, another badass character. Respect Jiren the Gray.
One of my favorite characters (Cell being number one). He had a good design and great character. Also, the Future Trunks saga was the best DBS saga in my opinion, but the anime ending was bad.
He brought me the real DBZ essence when he beat Frieza. He is the only one in his universe who truly cares about the U11 destiny and its people. He lives for justice and peace in his universe.
He is one of the strongest characters in the entire franchise.
