Best Pretty Cure SeasonsWhat is the best Pretty Cure season of all time? Be sure to vote up your favourite season!
This season, is the third season I watched around March and the first one I can say I really miss. It follows Haruka Haruno an energetic girl who wants to be a princess, but she doesn't tell anyone because she thinks it's embarrassing. She goes to a school called Noble Academy where she meets Pafu and Aroma. They are fairies sent from another kingdom by Kanata (the prince who Haruka met when she was little) who need the Pretty Cure to save their world. Haruka becomes Cure Flora and she is joined by Minami Kaido (Cure Mermaid) and Kirara Amanogawa (Cure Twinkle)! Together they fight off the villains who create monsters using people's despair!
Later they are joined by Kanata's sister Towa Akagi who was brainwashed by the villains and believed to be Dyspear's daughter under the name of Twilight. She becomes the Precure Cure Scarlet.
Go! Princess Precure was constructed incredibly well! Though I favour Smile precure, I have to say plot and character development wise it's one of my favourites. The side characters are developed well, and you get to see the characters really grow in the series! It's accompanied by lovely themes and is certainly a series worth watching!
Everything about this series is beautiful. The music, the OP, ED, the transformation sequences. It's just such a wonderfully themed series with obvious Utena/Rose of Versailles influence. I go back to watch an episode and wind up watching 5 every time.
I have watched this precure and I think it's the best one!
What I like about this precure is the art style, and the voice actors, if you haven't watched any of the precures series, I recommend you to start from here!
It features one of the best redemption arcs I've seen in a T.V. show. It also didn't feel like it was doing too much but it also didn't feel like it was doing too little.
Catchy op and end 3d dance scene is so fun and easy to learn. the characters have a development which helps more the story along
Much more heartfelt and darker than the other precure seasons. HeartCatch combines the best elements of candy-colored art direction and strong characterization with the intense action. The characters feel true to life and relatable.
Only season that have interesting plot so far. And that dark precure is so cool. The op is also great. But most importantly, it have the most special personality characters.
I haven't watched Precure at all. None of the series. I think I'll start here.
Erika is so funny, I love how she tried to help Tsubomi change herself!
Currently the best PreCure season for me! It's the only season that I'm willing to watch all of the episodes straight.
I really like this season. It has character development and designs.
I loved how Hana was always cheering everyone on! I look up to her a lot!
The first season I watched and my introduction to Precure. I love it so much
It was cute, and the characters and humor were the most wholesome in this series. It was fun, and it was my first PreCure season. I found it when I was seven, which was a good time for me to find it, too; a long time after discovering it, I guess a few of the cringy texts actually got through to me... But not just that, I simply found it as the most likable season. The villains also actually had a backstory for once, and weren't the protagonists just for the sake of it. The whole fairy tale theme was super creative, too; I give it a 9/10. The only possible thing that could've made it better was if they had fixed up on the repeating loop plot in all Pretty Cure.
Smile Precure was my all time favorite Precure Seasons over every season I tried watching, it's story is very appealing to me and relates to having a big smile and overcoming your fears. Even if the anime itself contains tragic scenes and sad controversy meanings, the main protagonist, Miyuki, always try to persevere anything in her way. That goes the same with others characters like Yayoi, Aoki, Nao, and Akane. All of them have really unique hairstyles and accessories as a Precure. This is the only anime who has feathers as a accessories and different types of tiaras as a Precure and Princess.
This is so underrated... with a vibrant color scheme, unique characters, and intriguing villains, the targeted audience and the older reminiscers will enjoy this one for sure. Albeit, it has its own flaws, but it also really comes through at times like it did with Yayoi's father, Reika's dilemma, Miyuki's metaphoric "mask", even that cute little love story. It was also a very creative season, taking an aspect from each and every predecessor and mashing it into one, topping the plot with a sprinkle of creativity by utilizing the "fantasy" tradition and theming it based on fairy tales.
I honestly wish people didn't judge the season because they consider it to be way to childish or just plainly a copy of Yes! Precure 5 (GoGo), because it's not. Sure, Yes! and Smile are similar, but they're both unique in their own ways nontheless. Nozomi and Miyuki are different on some stages, such as their dreams. Akane and Rin are actually not close to being similar, Yayoi and Urara are similar because most yellow cures are similar, same with Reika and Karen. Komachi and Nao aren't even that similar, the only simularity I find is them both having sort of calm personalities (Except when it comes to bugs in Nao's case). As with the fill-in episodes being similar, they're fill in episodes, there's nothing copyish about that. I know that both teams sunk into despair at one point, but it was in unique ways, same with the dark versions of them (Dark Precure 5, Bad End Precure).
About Smile being childish, it's not really. I mean, we have Akane falling in love, Nao's siblings ...more
Saki and Mai were lovely and amazing. Hands down one of the best redemptions and stories of any season!
Splash star haves creative villains that's why I like it and I watched it u.u
The best thing about Suite Precure was Cure Melody and Cure Rhythum's design!
The best season ever
I respect this season because it's the first one! A sporty girl and a smart girl who go to the same school but they're complete strangers. Then they meet the 2 fairies Mepple and Mipple who grant them the powers of Pretty Cure!
Nagisa Misumi becomes Cure Black, she is very strong and good at fighting.
Honoka Yukishiro becomes Cure White who is more agile! And together they are the emisarries of light Pretty Cure!
This season has some of the best fights in Precure and one of the closest bonds too! My only complaints are that the villains/plot are boring and so are a lot of episodes. But that's OK because I've only watched a few seasons! This was the first season I watched (aside from glitter force) in December 2019 and I LOVE it!
(No, I haven't watched Max Heart the first few episodes were too boring haha)
I've almost finished watching this season and it's awesome. I liked watching black kicking all the villains
This is honestly the only series I've seen so far, but I still love it!
I only have Maho girls pretty cure so I don't know much about the other series, but either way this show is so good!
The end is so touching
This season is one of my favorites. It has likeable characters, threatening villains, good action and romance... It has it's flaws, of course, but I still really enjoyed.
I don't know why, but this is the only season that I've been able to sit through. I got interested in the series just before the release of HappinessCharge, and I love that season's attacks and character songs. I love the space exploration, astronomy, and astrology motifs of Star☆Twinkle. I adore Suite's opening song. Fresh was the first season I tried to watch, and I enjoy the character designs and endings of that season. I've heard so much about how good HeartCatch and Go! Princess are...and yet, DokiDoki! is the only one I've managed to watch the entirety of. Perhaps the characters (of which I hated none--not even Mana or Aguri) were what held my focus...or maybe it was the continuous nature of the plot. I found myself getting bored with the filler material that I ran into in other seasons; DokiDoki! doesn't have much, if any, of that. It manages to integrate character development into the plot progression, and I enjoy that. I also think that it's cool how the villains are based ...more
I love how Aguri is so bossy against her elders, but also has the biggest weakness.
It all started with Star Guardian Lux...
I love these three.
Stop the hate. All seasons have its good and bad points. The bad points don't make it a bad season 100%. Learn to give chances
This was the first Precure season I ever saw, and I loved it!
Extremely underrated season.
Best precure series ever!
at first I was skeptical about star twinkle but after watching a few episodes I got addicted it was just too good! I loved the character relationships and how the storyline developed truly one of my favorites 10/10
Getting really lazy now :')
Weird space creature meets girl who is conveniently energetic and has pink hair. They team up with an alien girl who thinks she's an adult even though she's only 13 and can't decide whether she's blue or green. A girl with a unique skin colour for precure who can't stop smiling even if she's crying at the same time. A purple moon version of Reika Aoki. And
A sneaky space thief who is also a space idol who is also infiltrating the villains who just wants to restore her planet.
And they sing in the transformations and the song is better than the transformations themselves.
I think that this is one of the best precure seasons!
All of the characters have a great personality and no one is left out! I like how Lala and Yuni are aliens, it's just so cool!
Taurus is my Zodiac and my personality is most like Hikaru's! You can connect to any character in this show!
I LOVE the animation and the theme! galaxy! You can NEVER get bored of watching this!
p.s. FUWA IS ADORABLE!
I love heart catch a lot because of the flower theme and the characters are awesome but star twinkle is just so kawaii <3 I'm going to miss it when they get to the finale. Seeing how much these girls actually sparkle when they're transforming is really fun for me! In general, I've loved ultra girly stuff pretty much all my life. Star Twinkle is probably more nerd-ish than girly at times, but it really is just so cute. It gets my vote, sorry heart catch! Star Twinkle for the win
I wish people would stop hateing on this show, I personally like this better than princess precure.
Why is it hated
I thought this show was best at giving a good story plot.
I have seen some videoes of this show and the transformations are really good! Also cure princess is my favorite and they are all so cute!
They're creating a new series! Star Twinkle Precure!
