Best Pretty Cure Seasons

It features one of the best redemption arcs I've seen in a TV show. It didn't feel like it was doing too much, but it also didn't feel like it was doing too little.

It's so bright and colorful! I love PreCure! The theme song is really good, and I love it! If they dub this, I think it would be even better. Toei needs to make more PreCure series!

The catchy opening and the ending 3D dance scene are so fun and easy to learn. The characters have development, which helps move the story along.

Go! Princess Precure was constructed incredibly well! Though I favor Smile Precure, I have to say that plot and character development-wise, it's one of my favorites. The side characters are developed well, and you get to see the characters really grow in the series! It's accompanied by lovely themes and is certainly a series worth watching!

Everything about this series is beautiful. The music, the opening and ending themes, the transformation sequences - it's just such a wonderfully themed series with obvious Utena/Rose of Versailles influence. I go back to watch an episode and wind up watching five every time.

Much more heartfelt and darker than the other PreCure seasons. HeartCatch combines the best elements of candy-colored art direction and strong characterization with intense action. The characters feel true to life and are relatable.

The only season that has an interesting plot so far. And that Dark PreCure is so cool. The opening is also great. But most importantly, it has the most special personalities among the characters.

I haven't watched PreCure at all. None of the series. I think I'll start here.

Currently the best PreCure season for me! It's the only season that I'm willing to watch all the episodes straight through.

I loved how Hana was always cheering everyone on! I look up to her a lot!

I really like this season. It has character development and designs.

This was my first season, and I adored it! March ended up being my favorite Cure. I had dreams of becoming a Pretty Cure named "Cure Meadow." I'm just an obsessed fan, alright? No need to hate me for saying this, but the English dub is trash. All anime dubbed by Netflix are trash. The English version of Smile Precure was trashy, even Cardcaptor Sakura and Naruto.

That's why I adore this so much - it was basically my whole childhood. We all dreamed of being superheroes as kids, and Pretty Cure basically made that come true.

Saki and Mai were lovely and amazing. Hands down, one of the best redemptions and stories of any season!

Splash Star has creative villains. That's why I like it, and I watched it.

I respect this season because it's the first one! A sporty girl and a smart girl go to the same school, but they're complete strangers. Then they meet the two fairies, Mepple and Mipple, who grant them the powers of Pretty Cure!

Nagisa Misumi becomes Cure Black. She is very strong and good at fighting. Honoka Yukishiro becomes Cure White, who is more agile! Together, they are the emissaries of light, Pretty Cure!

This season has some of the best fights in Pretty Cure and one of the closest bonds too! My only complaints are that the villains and plot are boring, and so are a lot of episodes. But that's OK because I've only watched a few seasons! This was the first season I watched (aside from Glitter Force) in December 2019, and I LOVE it!

(No, I haven't watched Max Heart. The first few episodes were too boring, haha.)

I love Suite PreCure! It's all about music, and I love music! It has the best transformations out of all the PreCure series!

The best thing about Suite PreCure was Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm's designs!

This season is one of my favorites. It has likable characters, threatening villains, good action, and romance. It has its flaws, of course, but I still really enjoyed it.

I don't know why, but this is the only season that I've been able to sit through. I got interested in the series just before the release of HappinessCharge, and I love that season's attacks and character songs. I love the space exploration, astronomy, and astrology motifs of Star☆Twinkle. I adore Suite's opening song. Fresh was the first season I tried to watch, and I enjoy the character designs and endings of that season.

I've heard so much about how good HeartCatch and Go! Princess are, and yet, DokiDoki! is the only one I've managed to watch in its entirety. Perhaps the characters (none of whom I hated - not even Mana or Aguri) were what held my focus, or maybe it was the continuous nature of the plot. I found myself getting bored with the filler material that I encountered in other seasons, but DokiDoki! doesn't have much, if any, of that. It manages to integrate character development into the plot progression, and I enjoy that.

I also think it's cool how the villains are based on the Seven Deadly Sins, which brings me to my final point. The season's main motif, the duality of love and selfishness, is implemented very well. It is present not just in the villains' actions but also in the protagonists'. I like how the heroes aren't paragons of virtue despite being talented and hardworking individuals. I know that it still has its flaws, and I understand that I am anything but objective, but DokiDoki! PreCure has strengths that shine through despite its missteps.

Stop the hate. All seasons have their good and bad points. The bad points don't make it a bad season 100%. Learn to give chances.

This was the first PreCure season I ever saw, and I loved it!

Extremely underrated season.

I love HeartCatch a lot because of the flower theme, and the characters are awesome, but Star Twinkle is just so kawaii. I'm going to miss it when they get to the finale. Seeing how much these girls actually sparkle when they're transforming is really fun for me!

In general, I've loved ultra girly stuff pretty much all my life. Star Twinkle is probably more nerdy than girly at times, but it really is just so cute. It gets my vote. Sorry, HeartCatch! Star Twinkle for the win.

I think that this is one of the best Pretty Cure seasons!

All of the characters have great personalities, and no one is left out! I like how Lala and Yuni are aliens - it's just so cool!

Taurus is my zodiac sign, and my personality is most like Hikaru's! You can connect to any character in this show!

I LOVE the animation and the theme - galaxy! You can NEVER get bored of watching this!

P.S. FUWA IS ADORABLE!

I wish people would stop hating on this show. I personally like this better than Princess PreCure.

I thought this show was the best at giving a good story plot.
