Top 10 Types of Detective Conan Cases
Detective Conan, as an anime show, features a wide variety of cases that can be grouped into different categories. Here are some of them.In these cases, either the most likely person to have committed the crime is already dead, or the murder is done under such circumstances that it seems to defy logic. An example is the episode "Shinichi Kudou is the Murderer and Ran's Tears."
I like, like, like! When the Black Organization appears, the atmosphere is so tense! Actually, I don't really like them because they're mean and antagonistic, but at least I like Bourbon and Vermouth (and Rye).
Every time I see one of these, I know something is about to happen! Whether it be Kudou Shinichi's reappearances or a genuine reminder that this actually does have a plot, I love them.
These are very rare and the major plot drivers of the series. These high-profile cases involve the Black Organization (and sometimes the FBI).
I really love it when Conan solves some really intriguing cases with the Detective Boys as his companions. The humor in those episodes is great, especially the ones centering on Haibara.
The prime example of this is the "Moonlight Sonata Case." People die one after another, and there seems to be a sort of connection between these killings.
In these cases, Conan has to find out when, where, and how the deadly poison was applied to the victim.
In these cases, complicated traps and tools are used by the killer to kill the victim in such a way that he can somehow present an alibi for himself. Most of the cases belong to this category.
Who doesn't love these cases? The creativity, the suspense, and the bit of levity from the more dramatic cases of the show are fantastic. Not to mention the excitement of having Shinichi go up against someone on his own level. And of course, the mystery.
The reason Magic Kaito didn't take off as well might have been the lack of mystery. We see how he made the trick first, so we were just waiting for everyone else to figure it out. It's much more fun not to know and figure it out along the way.
How did I forget this? Thank you so much to whoever added this here. This list would be incomplete without it. Thanks again. In my opinion, it should be ranked second.
These are large-scale cases where the stakes are very high, like a bombing warning of a skyscraper or others where the whole police team is involved. These are what we call "high profile cases."
Great character interaction!
Really the best type, especially the flashback ones. The two cases I love most are "Memories from Sakura Class" and "Deduction Battle on the Ski Slope."
I like every case in the series, but I especially love it when he turns back to Shinichi!
I love Shinichi cases. There should be more of him facing Kaitou Kid.
Though these cases are rare in this series, they are very entertaining.
Or any episodes that have Conan (Shin'ichi) on the case with someone else also working to solve it.
Here, Detective Conan (mostly along with the Detective Boys) finds some sort of scrap paper with jumbled letters all around. He has to solve the puzzle, which might lead to a case and then to the culprit.
The majority of the cases belong to this category.
Cases where we usually suspect Jodie as Chris Vineyard (Vermouth).
We would love it if they ended up together again, but of course, we also love how they solve cases together. (Murderer Kogoro Mouri Case)
