Top 10 Most Annoying Five Nights at Freddy's Animatronics
Some animatronics just go out of their way to ruin your night, and not in the fun, scary way. No, we're talking about the ones that constantly mess with your strategy, break all the rules, or just show up uninvited and unrelenting. They're like a corrupted Clippy with a jumpscare fetish. You're not scared anymore. You're just mad.
Every FNaF game has that one character that makes you want to throw your headset across the room. Maybe it's the one that disables your flashlight for no reason. Maybe it's the one that crawls through the vents and gives you zero time to react. Or maybe it's the one that just... talks. And talks. And never shuts up. Whatever your personal version of animatronic purgatory is, chances are it made its way onto this list.

Balloon Boy (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Balloon Boy is a human-rendered animatronic character introduced in the video game Five Nights at Freddy's 2, which was released in 2014. In the game, Balloon Boy does not physically harm the player but interferes by disabling the flashlight, thereby making it easier for hostile animatronics to attack... read more
You guys do not have good responses. Okay, I know that he is annoying, but the Phone Guy does not mention him at all. Listen to theories, people. If not, you are not a true FNAF fan. There is a child in Balloon Boy. If you zoom in on his mouth, you see a pair of eyes, but why exactly? You figure that out. You can watch videos or Google why there are eyes inside his mouth. He may be laughing for joy, not to get you jumpscared by Withered Foxy. But for another reason, what kind of reason exactly?
These guys are the most annoying nightmare cheats. Minireena has the worst jumpscare. Phone Guy kept talking. Balloon Boy and JJ laugh annoyingly. DeeDee has her stupid song. Happy Frog has the worst voice ever. Phantom BB blocks the view. Purple Man, I don't know, and Nightmare Cupcake is the sidekick of N. Chica. N. Cupcake comes out of nowhere.
-
Mangle (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Mangle is a character introduced in the video game Five Nights at Freddy's 2. Mangle is a disassembled animatronic fox with a yellow right eye and an empty left eye socket. Their broken appearance and erratic movements make them one of the more unsettling animatronics in the series.
Her mangled noises are so annoying. She sounds so broken. She's like a scrap. Sure, her voice is not annoying in Ultimate Custom Night, but her sound, that's a no!
Most overrated character, absolutely annoying as hell due to that garble that it makes everywhere. It won't go away, and it makes Balloon Boy look like a legend!
Why is she here? She should be 1. She sucks. Her voice is so loud. She is so poorly made.
-
Minireena (Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location)
Okay, there are two reasons why I hate the Minireenas. First, they cover up your screen, so you get jumpscared! Seriously, why are some animatronics only made to be annoying little pests? Second, in SL, they crawl over and jumpscare you as if they ACTUALLY have a role in the franchise/lore, while they don't! What the #@&/!
I really hate her because of Night 4 on Sister Location! I try to watch walkthroughs on YouTube, but it never works. She is even annoying on Custom Night and UCN.
It's so hard to prevent them from coming on Night 4 in SL. It's also hard when you're sad because they scooped Ballora, the Queen.
-
Mr. Hippo (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator)
"Well, *sigh*, it seems that your journey has ended. Very sorry about that. It was-it always was going to end this way, of course. If it weren't by me, it would've just been by some other, y'know, terrible thing. Just, you could not imagine how terrible it would be."
His long story is enough for him to be one of the most annoying animatronics.
What's wrong with his stories? They're so long! I even fell asleep during one.
-
JJ (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Uh oh, how unfortunate. Uh oh, how unfortunate. I'm going to do a sneaky thing and throw a new contender in the ring. Ya know what would be unfortunate? If I broke her head. But many people would thank me.
Uh oh! How unfortunate! Uh oh! How unfortunate! I'm gonna rip you apart, JJ, and make you bleed oil everywhere!
Why did they have to make a girl version of Balloon Boy?
-
Springtrap (Five Nights at Freddy's 3)
Springtrap is a central character and antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's 3, which was released on March 2, 2015. He appears as a decayed animatronic bunny known as Spring Bonnie and contains the corpse of William Afton, also known as the Purple Guy.... read more
He is SO overrated. Sick fans depict him as a hot date and crush on him! He's a child murderer! What is wrong with people?
Why not? He kills you after you experience a damn heart attack from one of those phantoms, especially on Nights 4 and 5. Why not?
I get a stinking heart attack from a phantom, then one from seeing him outside the hall. His jumpscare is not even scary. Thank you, Scott, tysm.
-
DeeDee (Ultimate Custom Night)
I hate Dee Dee because she throws a lot of non-selectable characters in UCN. She is mean and humiliates both BB and JJ.
Okay, so her song is THAT annoying, and she keeps summoning more challengers. It makes me cry!
Dee-Dee summons unwanted characters from the roster and makes your life miserable on 50-20 mode.
-
The Marionette (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
She is like:
Marionette: Wind up my music box, Jeremy, and you may live for now. If my clock keeps ticking and you STILL haven't put some music on, I will have my client, Mangle, come and kill you. Or, we can do this up close and personal, JEREMY.
Imagine you're playing FNAF 2. There are a bunch of animatronics in front of you (sadly, Balloon Boy has sealed your batteries, but thankfully, there's no Foxy!). It's 5:59, and you're wearing the Freddy mask, almost finishing the game! Then you forget the music box... *jumpscare*. Balloon Boy is surely annoying by robbing your batteries, but at least you can stop him. The Puppet is different. You forget to rewind it for one second, and... *jumpscare*. Puppet and Balloon Boy are both annoying, but I think Puppet is worse because she might destroy your perfect shift.
-
Withered Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Withered Bonnie is one of the animatronic characters in Five Nights at Freddy's 2. He is introduced as an older, damaged version of Bonnie who begins moving on Night 3 to try to reach and attack the player. Withered Bonnie is missing his face and left arm, starts in the Parts and Service room, and typically... read more
Very annoying on later nights.
-
Golden Freddy (Five Nights at Freddy's)
Golden Freddy is one of the primary antagonists in the video game Five Nights at Freddy's. He appears as a ghost-like, yellow version of Freddy Fazbear and is known for his unpredictable appearances in the game. His mysterious nature has made him a fan-favorite among players of the series.
So here's a funny story. I was on Night 4 of FNAF 1. I was worried but not too bad. It was 4 a.m., and I was doing good. All of a sudden, Golden Freddy appeared, and I was just confused. I hadn't seen him in the game before, so I didn't know what to do. Then I died in confusion and anger.
It's super scary when you shine the hall on Night 6, expecting to see Foxy but instead see Golden Freddy's head. If it's your first time seeing Golden Freddy, you'll definitely flash the hall again and get killed.
He is scary and annoying! He is scary because his jumpscare will make you pee your pants, and he is annoying because he scares you even more when you're trying not to be scared.

?
Nightmarionne (Ultimate Custom Night)
In UCN, she/he always appears on my screen, especially when I'm using the cameras. It's impossible to complete 50/20 mode because of Nightmarionne constantly popping up at me! Half of the time, I don't even know where the other animatronics are because I'm too busy trying to keep my cursor away from Nightmarionne! It would actually be okay if she didn't pop up at you so often.
He keeps appearing in my UCN office all day! I cannot do 50/20 mode! Scott, make this easier, please!
You can't tap on him even with all of the things going on in your office.

El Chip (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator)
-
Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Bonnie is one of the four main antagonists in the horror video game Five Nights at Freddy's, released in 2014. He is an animatronic rabbit and plays guitar in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza house band. Bonnie appears in various forms throughout the game's sequels and spin-offs.
Most people don't know this, but Bonnie is the second most active old animatronic, showing up in your office more times than any of the others, which is what makes him so annoying.
I hate Bonnie because not only is he annoying, but he is Toy Bonnie's arch-rival and plans to get rid of him!
No, I hate how he gets all in your face to see if you are Freddy or not.
-
Chica (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Chica is one of the four main antagonists in the video game Five Nights at Freddy's, created by Scott Cawthon. She is an animatronic chicken and a member of the haunted pizzeria band. Chica appears in multiple variations throughout the series, including Toy Chica, Phantom Chica, and Glamrock Chica.
It's just so hard on the computer because you can't see if she is gone or not!
-
Toy Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Toy Bonnie is a redesigned animatronic and one of the main antagonists in "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." He serves as an upgraded version of the original Bonnie character. Toy Bonnie replaced the damaged and older Withered Bonnie in an effort to improve the animatronics.
Umm, excuse me? I can't believe nobody put Toy Bonnie up here! She is so annoying! (Which is probably the main reason why I love her?) Not only is she giving you heart attacks every 2 a.m., but she also wastes precious time by staring at you through that darn eyehole!
Withered Bonnie? JJ? What are you lot thinking? This dunce constantly comes out of the vent to slide left and right for 5 seconds. He is basically the first animatronic to arrive and forces you to just sit there, unable to fend off Withered Foxy or wind the music box.
-
Foxy (Five Nights at Freddy's 2)
Really? This is number 10? Has Foxy gotten so popular to the point where hardcore fans can't say anything bad about him? Oh my gosh... I mean, I like Foxy, but in FNAF 2, he's a gosh-darn annoyance. I can see why he's like this, so there's actually a reason to check the hallway, but he's just annoying to deal with.
Think about it! On later nights, he's always in the hallway stealing your flashlight power. You cannot avoid him with the mask!
He always runs into your office, and he knows it's you with the mask. If he's there and you have to do the music box, then you die.
-
Bonnet (Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location)
Bonnet is SO annoying. She is in Sister Location and will appear on the screen. If you don't bop her, she will jumpscare you. She gives me almost all the jumpscares because I'm always looking at the security cameras. Then Yendo will appear when Bonnet is there. Yendo will be gone, and Bonnet is at the end of the screen. Before you know it, there comes a jumpscare.
Bonnet is a bit annoying but still adorable! If you hate Bonnet, you hate Bonbon. *boops nose*
I don't like you because you get Funtime Freddy to jumpscare me.
-
Phantom BB (Five Nights at Freddy's 3)
I don't understand. When he jumpscares me, most of the time I get jumpscared by Springtrap right after!
Just a Phantom BB. He still sucks.
-
Happy Frog (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator)
That voice! When it's done with that happy voice, it's creepy. "We only just begun... we will never let you leave... we will never let you rest..." Then it fades away.
-
Funtime Freddy (Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location)
Funtime Freddy is an animatronic character featured in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. He appears on Night 2 in the Breaker Room, on Night 3 during repair in Parts and Services, and again on Night 5 in the Scooping Room.... read more
F.T. Freddy pops out of nowhere once you are done crawling through the vent and doing your work.
You don't see a gosh dang thing, buddy boy.
-
Foxy (Five Nights at Freddy's)
Foxy is one of the main antagonists in the video game Five Nights at Freddy's. He is an animatronic pirate fox who hides in Pirate Cove and moves quickly toward the player. Foxy appears in various forms throughout the game's sequels and spin-offs.
I love Foxy and all, but he is damaged. Why does he not have a parrot and a peg leg?
-
Lolbit (Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location)
Lolbit is an animatronic character from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. It is a recolored, disembodied version of Funtime Foxy's head. Lolbit appears as a minor Easter Egg in the main game and is also a customizable character in the Custom Night mode.
Okay, if someone gets me started on this character, I will lose it. When I first played Sister Location, a sign that said "please stand by" with Lolbit's face on it kept appearing, and I was so confused because I actually thought I was supposed to wait instead of being distracted. I hate Lolbit.
She blocks my way so much! I don't hate her. I love her character, but she needs to stay out of my way! I hate when she lols me!
I love Lolbit and all, but sometimes they just keep distracting me.
-
Yenndo (Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location)
Yenndo is a Funtime endoskeleton and a minor antagonist from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. Although he plays a small role in the main game, he also appears in the Custom Night mode. Yenndo shares many design similarities with Funtime Freddy's endoskeleton.
On SL Night 4 or 5, Yenndo puts the screen hella black, making the game so hard.
Yenndo and Night 4 are the only bad things about Sister Location.
-
Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy's)
Bonnie is one of the four main antagonists in the horror video game Five Nights at Freddy's, released in 2014. He is an animatronic rabbit and plays guitar in the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza house band. Bonnie appears in various forms throughout the game's sequels and spin-offs.
He is so annoying. I spend most of my game staring at the left door and wasting my power.
-
Freddy (Five Nights at Freddy's)
He's SO HARD to avoid. In the first game, when he's by the corner staring into the camera, not only is that CREEPY, but I'm wasting my power keeping the door closed!
If the door's open and you hear his laugh, he's in your room and you had no warning. Then you get jump-scared and die.
It is hard to tell where Freddy is on the cameras in the first game.
-
Ennard (Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location)
Ennard is a hybrid animatronic composed of the endoskeletons of Circus Baby, Ballora, Funtime Foxy, and Funtime Freddy. Its body is covered with scattered animatronic eyeballs, giving it a disturbing appearance.
In Sister Location, Ennard uses the Scooper Machine to remove Michael Afton's internal... read more
Bruh, ENNARD, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?! I know he is my favorite (same with my friend), but he is hella scary. It's like when he is active and you don't see him, sometimes you're like, "Huh, where did he go? Is he gone?" And two seconds later, he's right in your face doing his jump scare, twisting his neck up and around like a dang psycho. Jeez, chill, Ennard.
And to people who are going to play FNAF 5: if Ennard is active and you hear voices like Baby's, heads up, that's Ennard's ability. Don't fall for it. It is hella creepy.
He's the hardest animatronic ever!
-
Chica (Five Nights at Freddy's)
Chica is one of the four main antagonists in the video game Five Nights at Freddy's, created by Scott Cawthon. She is an animatronic chicken and a member of the haunted pizzeria band. Chica appears in multiple variations throughout the series, including Toy Chica, Phantom Chica, and Glamrock Chica.
