He's the best shooter in the NBA. He's really good at three points. So come on, let's vote him to be the best.

He is the GOAT, greatest of all time!

King of buzzer beaters. Watch his games. Also, LeBron should be after Kobe, way better than Paul Pierce.

Michael Jordan Michael Jeffrey Jordan, also known by his initials MJ, is an American retired professional basketball player. Widely viewed as the greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan made six NBA Finals appearances in his career, winning the NBA championship each time.

MJ was different from the rest because most shooters mastered the three-pointer during his time, but he mastered mid-range, which was why he had a higher FG% than most players. Sometimes mid-range is the most accurate place to shoot from. Some shooters can't master their mid-range jumper.

Ray Allen Walter Ray Allen, Jr. is a former American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent.

Okay, people. This list is for the greatest "Shooter" of all time. That would start with a man named Walter Ray Allen, then Reggie Miller, then the arguments would start from this point on. Nash, Price, Bird, Pistol Pete...?

Better than Curry. Curry just shoots more shots so of course, he would have more made threes. So would I if I shot every time.

Makes so many three-point shots it's not even funny. Also, he has led the NBA in foul shooting more than once.

Reggie Miller Reginald Wayne Miller is an American retired professional basketball player who played his entire 18-year National Basketball Association career with the Indiana Pacers.

Reggie Miller all the way. How is Kobe Bryant ahead of him? Anybody that voted for Kobe has never seen Reggie shoot. That goes for MJ too.

Dirk Nowitzki Dirk Werner Nowitzki is a German professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association.

Did you ever see a 7'0 shoot threes? There is no doubt that Dirk is the greatest big man shooter of all time. Even though he lacks defense, he can score not only one, two, but three!

Best shooting big man of all time.

Steve Nash Stephen John Nash, is a Canadian retired professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association.
Pete Maravich Peter Press Maravich, known by his nickname Pistol Pete, was an American professional basketball player.
Rick Barry Richard Francis Dennis "Rick" Barry III is an American retired professional basketball player who played in both the American Basketball Association and National Basketball Association.

An unbelievable offensive player who could do it all.

The Newcomers

? Isaiah Thomas Isaiah Jamar Thomas is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association.
? Klay Thompson Klay Alexander Thompson is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.

He is the best shooter of all time, a little better than Curry because we can see that sometimes Curry misses a shot, but Klay is both a good mid-range and three-point shooter. He also broke Curry's record for most threes in a game.

The best spot-up shooter of all time.

The Contenders
Kevin Durant Kevin Wayne Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and the Nets. He was MVP of the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals.

KD is possibly one of the best shooters in NBA history. Plus, he has a high FG percentage and averages more points per games than these guys.

Allen Iverson Allen Ezail Iverson is an American retired professional basketball player who played for 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association.
Steve Kerr Stephen Douglas Kerr is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.
Dražen Petrović

The best and fastest shooting technique ever. Fast footwork, incredible body balance. Champion personality.

Reggie Miller said he is the greatest shooter ever. Period.

Paul Pierce Paul Anthony Pierce is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association.
LeBron James LeBron Raymone James is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Throughout his career, LeBron has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and the Lakers, winning a total of four NBA championships.

Better than KD at posting, three-point shooting, mid-range. The only factor KD is better at is free throws...enough said.

Rick Mount

Freak shooter, the greatest I've ever seen. Went to his shooting camp in high school and watched him hit 100 free throws in a row. Then he stepped back and hit 30 three-pointers in a row. His shot is a mechanical marvel, almost like a robot. The whole gym got very quiet, very spooky, almost supernatural. Never seen anything like it.

Did not have the range of Steph Curry. Did not have the athletic ability of others on this list. Did not have Larry Bird's all-around repertoire (or several others). But still the best pure shooter of all time.

Nikos Galis

One of the greatest players, scorers, and shooters in European basketball history.

Peja Stojaković
Kyrie Irving Kyrie Andrew Irving is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and the Nets.
Oscar Schmidt

The Brazilian small forward had an incredible ability to shoot and score.
