Top 10 Most Badass Guard Dogs
The are universally known to be very protective of what they own. I have one from Germany, and to most everyone he meets he is extremely friendly. He also can tell if someone's trying to be sneaky. Plus factually the most bite pressure of any dog breed (1/2 as much as Tyrannosaurs-Rex). #1
Rottweiler should be higher than 5. It is the most protective guard dog I know. It has the strongest grip in the teeth and they are very loving to humans. They are active and playful loyal dogs. Plus I've never even heard of the boerboel before.
Bad ass in the BEST WAY! When God made dogs, the German Shepherd was standing first in line. They are truly glorious dogs.

The best dog ever bred. Loyal, and willing to defend his family until the end. Yet, they aren't afraid to be independent.
Best alarm, always watching and guarding.
Fierce dogs, yet very loyal and sweet. Overall it is a great watch dog, guard dog and well not so much companion but it will give you kisses
Cool dogs, horrible in the cold. But kangals can tolerate the cold and heat
Very smart, easy to train, loves her family, if socialized with farm animals, is very tolerant of them, including goats, cats, horses and other smaller dogs. Loves to ride shotgun in our big truck. Got a CGC at 11 months. House trained herself. She was shipped from FL at 10 weeks and upon, arrival her crate was (sealed) and clean and dry. Awesome dog, I.E. dogo, can't say enough good about her! Great companion, too.
Proud and respectful. Need training in order to see their great potential. Surprisinglly good swimmers.
Extremely loyal loving and gentle but there in an instant if they perceive any threat
They are actually bad guard dogs and very friendly family dogs
Should be number 1. This thing can take on a whole wolf pack alone just to protect it's humans and their livestock. That's extreme loyalty and strength to me.
Would be the ultimate freaking dog if it wasn't so independent! Amazing dogs if you have live stock to be guarded.
How tf is this number one but the German shepard, a retarded dog breed, is?
My first Akita weighed in at 175 lbs all muscle. Purebred and healthy
Not much to really say….this dog might not look overall impressive but mess around near one and you'll see why it's a bad dude!
A mastiff type dog mixed w/a bloodhound. Pretty freaking amazing. But overly protective though
Close cousin to the Corso just bigger heavier and more wrinkly. However almost as athletic….extremely deceiving in their appearance.
