Within the top 3 films of all time, and the two are the Godfather and The shawshank redemption. This is a great film with consequences and a good ending
The best Western ever made! All the actors are pretty good and this is a fine classic from the 60's to be enjoyed ay all Clint Eastwood lovers
My favorite film, this is a work of art, everything from musical score, direction, to acting. Greatest film of all time!

This movie go's so easy, till that final climax!
One of the greatest films of all time.
Incredibly dark and twisted and SO GOOD

Great movie, the way he bonded with his neighbors and outwitted the local hooligans. His own family was pathetic. They reminded me of how some families are today, always wanting something and giving nothing.
Should've got nominated an oscar for this movie, this is an inspirational story,
This movie really touched me, I don't know how a movie of its sort did, but it did.
Loved it, Clint Eastwood is a badass.

Hard to go against Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. However, Dirty Harry opened the door for Clint to star in a different role at a time when his role in the Westerns was starting to wind down. Tons of great lines in this movie... A true classic in it's own right, not just within the Eastwood film spectrum.
It has its flaws, but it rises above them, delivers memorable scenes, an edgy message (about who's actually worse, the vigilante or the murderer) and a great soundtrack by Lalo Schifrin.
This is terrific from Clint Eastwood... Specially the ending. One of all time greats.
One of the best soundtracks by Lalo Schifrin

Awesome film, redefined everything that is a western.

"Dying ain't much of a living"
My favorite movie all time.

Great soundtrack. Great villain.

Although he didn’t act in this movie, it was his best work. The emotions of Sean Penn, the mental instability of Tim Robbins and the glue that put it all together in Kevin Bacon. The rest of the cast was excellent also. Watching the movie felt like a real experience.
Amazing cast, amazing story! If you haven't watched it yet, it's about time!

Hidden gem of a movie

One of my favorite all-time movies
