81 L'Arc~en~Ciel L'Arc~en~Ciel L'Arc-en-Ciel is a Japanese rock band, founded in Osaka in 1991. With a reported 40 million records sold, they were the first Japanese act to headline at Madison Square Garden.

For a Japanese band to even reach this list in a predominately English list. Speaks wonders.

Best band in my opinion

Cool list "my heart draws dream" or "Blurry EYES" nice music...

I vote for them.. Because they're always rocking my world.. /drool

82 Sum 41 Sum 41 Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario, Canada. Originally called Kaspir, the band was formed in 1996 and, as of 2015, consists of lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Deryck Whibley, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Dave Baksh, co-lead guitarist/backing vocalist Tom Thacker, bassist/backing vocalist more.

sum 41 is so cool their music and age if this was my list they would be number 1! the foo fiteres and all that get ahead of sum 41 thats bullcrap, sum 41 rocks!

Sum 41 is ranked 86? This is absolutely mind blowing. I thought they were massive growing up, everyone listened to them. I guess that was just in my area in Canada, a quick YouTube search shattered my world in seeing the lack of views.

Should be in the top 10 for being one of the only punk rock bands still around today with Rise Against instead of sell outs like Linkin Park, Green Day, and Nickelback.

No way sum 41 shouldn't be in the top 5

85 Black Veil Brides Black Veil Brides Black Veil Brides is an American rock band currently consisting of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (guitar), Jake Pitts (guitar), Christian Coma (drums) and Ashley Purdy (bass), that formed in 2006 in Ohio. more.

Why is BVB at number 125? They deserve to at least be in the top 100 mean they are a great band and I know that some people don't like them cause they wear make up but I think that people who judge a band on how they look need to wake up and smell the god damn roses. Cause they are an amazing band that a lot of people can relate to.

They're new album definitely isn't the greatest. But Set the World on Fire is one of the best rock albums of all time. There isn't a bad song on it.

Black Veil Brides! They should be at least under the top 10!

They are awesome they should be higher up

"About Today" is one of my favorite songs.

88 The Savages
89 Seether Seether Seether are a South African hard rock band founded in May 1999 in Pretoria, South Africa. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they adopted the Seether name.

Shaun has an amazing voice and their lyrics are great. Some of my favorites are Breakdown, Fine Again, Rise Above This, Like Suicide, and Words as Weapons

Most of these bands aren't even hard rock
But seether is for sure hard rock. Like suicide
And no resolution are my favorites. Holding
Onto to strings better left to fray is their best
Album. Keep up the good work guys! : )

Are you kidding? This is the band that has carried Nirvana's torch for the last 15 years. They are simply amazing and are legit top 25!

This band rocks

90 Trapt Trapt Trapt is an American rock band that formed in Los Gatos, California in 1995, best known for their 2002 single "Headstrong".

Who the hell put Trapt way down here? Trapt is clearly higher ranked then this. Trapt should be up there with Rise Against, Its pretty clear some people need to learn what good music is.

There's so many good bands here that are ranked lower or higher then were they really should be. These rankings are so far fetched!

Whats not to like about this brilliant band! This music can be played in the morning throughout the day! This music moves listeners! Get Real People! All Hail Trapt

I agree many of these slightly older and harder bands didn't get the ratings they deserve

I'm Brian and I loved Trapt

91 Panic! At the Disco Panic! At the Disco Panic! at the Disco is an American pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 and featuring the current lineup of vocalist Brendon Urie, accompanied on tour by bassist Dallon Weekes, guitarist Kenneth Harris, and drummer Dan Pawlovich.

I love this band so much! My sister would always play this when I was around! I especially love their one song called... Let's see what's it called... "I write SINS NOT Tragedies" that song is my favorite. Even if this band isn't really rock it's still a good band :D. I think that they are awesome!

I love this band so much! They have a ton of creative and awesome songs! Although I love most of their songs, I would really recommend "Miss Jackson", "This is Gospel" and "I write sins not tragedies". I love these guys so much! One if my favorites! You should totally check them out.

Panic! Is such a great band. I love a Fever You can't Sweat Out and Pretty Odd. They're both great albums. The songs are great and innovative and the styles are unique. Deserves to be higher up there

Fantastic band! The soundtrack to my summer in 2005.

92 Red Red Red is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2002. The band's lineup consists of singer Michael Barnes, guitarist Anthony Armstrong, and bassist Randy Armstrong.

I love REDs albums. They are the best. Christian music will save this world from darkness. And give us hope. By the way Skillet has some good song but man RED is the best number 1. To me and... May be you.

Really? All the way down here? Red is an awesome band, with awesome instrument synergy, awesome melodies, awesome vocals and awesome messages. You won't be disappointed if you check it out!

Red's music is relatable and full of heart. Every song has a meaning and they are just fabulous. I don't know why they are 87 I mean really. really. They are way more amazing than half the bands above it.

Most introspective lyrics to turn a bad day into a good one from a band I've ever heard.

95 Weezer Weezer Weezer is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1992, currently consisting of Rivers Cuomo (lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar), Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner.

That low, really? Weezer is in my opinion at least top 15, they have a sound that isn't too mopey nor too poppy. Rivers Cuomo is a musical genius and deserves more credit.

What the Hell, they Should be up high then a lot of these bands "Each one their Albums are unique in there own way. Blue and Pinkerton are amazing albums from start to finish, lets not forget the guitar solo in Only in Dreams.Lets not forget Green with Island in the Sun and Hash Pipe, I also I thought Red Album was amazing Pork and Beams and the GMWEL And recently Hurley has to be one of their best Albums that they release in awhile.

So many great songs should at least be 15 and above

They have some of the greatest songs of the 2000's, easy.

96 AFI

... AFI... Enough said, though if I must go on from that. It's ' AFI. While DU wasn't that grand you have to give them props for Art of Drowning and STS, you have to give them props for CL and let's not forget the two new amazing songs they've released so far from the new album. I'd go back further but then it wouldn't be in the 2000's so... Yeah.

What the hell this band is badass it should be somewhere at the top you posers especialy their song miss murder was one of the songs that represented that at rock is alive somewhere that one shed of light

97 Bowling for Soup Bowling for Soup Bowling for Soup is an American rock band originally formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1994. The band consists of Jaret Reddick, Chris Burney, Erik Chandler, and Gary Wiseman.

Bowling for soup made the funniest, coolest songs ever. should be top 10

I agree, Bowling For Soup usually does an amazing job, and people overlook their drums and bass in most of their songs. It's sad.

Hi uh bowling for soup should be in at least the top 50?

Should be top 10 band easy. Every song of every album is a good listen. They have no bad songs.

Should at least be considered. After all, look at some of the bands on this list.

Amazing band, absolutely brilliant lyrics along with great instrumental sides to the songs as well
