All of the characters are brave, but which of the following are the bravest?
PJO = Percy Jackson and the Olympians
HOO = Heroes of Olympus
TOA = Trials of Apollo
KC = Kane Chronicles
MCA = Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard

Nico di Angelo - PJO, HOO, TOA
Nico di Angelo is a fictional character created by Rick Riordan. He appears in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus, and parts of The Trials of Apollo. As a son of Hades, Nico is a demigod with unique powers and responsibilities.... read more
Nico went to Tartarus twice. Twice. That alone is pure bravery.
He also risked his life to bring the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood, as well as standing up to his father, a god. If anybody should be on the list, it's him.

Percy Jackson - PJO, HOO, TOA, MCA, KC
Perseus "Percy" Jackson is a fictional character, as well as the title character and narrator of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. He is a demigod and the son of Poseidon and a mortal woman named Sally Jackson. Percy first appears in the novel The Lightning Thief.
Percy is an easy second place character for this. He literally faced Kronos and took him down, along with facing Gaea and a whole bunch of other stuff. He's also been to Tartarus.
Overall, his brave deeds are uncountable, but I think Nico's weigh more.
-
Annabeth Chase - PJO, HOO, MCA
Annabeth Chase is a daughter of Athena and one of the main characters in both the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. She is also Percy Jackson's girlfriend and is recognized for her intelligence, leadership, and courage in battle, which all come from... read more
Annabeth is a really brave character too! She was in the fights with Kronos and Gaea. She faced her fear of spiders. She's gone through a lot.
-
Jason Grace - HOO, TOA
Jason Grace was the Roman demigod son of Jupiter, the Roman god of the sky, and the late actress Beryl Grace. He was the younger brother of Thalia Grace, whom Beryl had with Jupiter's Greek form, Zeus.
Jason served as the former co-praetor of Camp Jupiter and the counselor of Cabin 1 at Camp Half-Blood... read more
Jason has fought Titans and gods alike, as well as Gaea. He also sacrificed himself to help their cause. I'm not a big fan of Jason, but I need to acknowledge that he's very, very brave.
-
Leo Valdez - HOO, TOA
Leo Valdez is a major character in Rick Riordan's book series The Heroes of Olympus. He is one of the seven demigods mentioned in the Prophecy of Seven. A Greek demigod and the son of Hephaestus, Leo possesses the ability to create and manipulate fire, a power known as pyrokinesis.
Leo literally jumped off the Argo II to defeat Gaea and died in the process. He also helped Apollo during his trials. Plus, he's clearly gone through a lot that he just smiles through.
-
Charles Beckendorf - PJO
Charles literally destroyed the Princess Andromeda in hopes (but not 100% sure) that it would help their cause. Charles gave up his life for a good cause.
-
Zia Rashid - KC
Zia accepted being Ra's host. The host of the Egyptian god of the sun. Like, yeah, she's brave.
She also trained Carter and Sadie for a little in Egypt (well, the statue-puppet-thingy of her did) and got her eyebrows singed off by doing so. She didn't even flinch.
-
Samirah al Abbas - MCA
Sam literally almost sacrificed her position as a Valkyrie to get Magnus on the team.
Should we mention that she also went on a bunch of life-threatening quests with her friends? She's no pushover.
-
"Coach" Gleeson Hedge - HOO
Coach Hedge is kind of at the line between brave and insane. Either way, I think he's pretty brave. Nobody else would have the courage to travel across the globe with only Nico and Reyna.
Even more, nobody else would have the courage to run up to some monster screaming "DIE!" at the top of their lungs without having any plan whatsoever. I mean, there's got to be courage somewhere, right?
Right?
-
Frank Zhang - HOO
I mean, his life literally depended on a stick. A STICK!
But yet, he still kept going.
