81 Smokin' - Boston Smokin' - Boston
82 The Final Countdown - Europe The Final Countdown - Europe

Needs to be WAY higher up! One of the most iconic themes ever made in the history of mankind. Easily deserves a top 5 spot. In my opinion, it is the most recognizable rock song made.

This should be top 5, no doubt! Incredible solo, incredibly historical, incredible premise. In my opinion, it is like a sung future. Also, Eye of the Tiger by Survivor should be up in top 5.

Come on it should at least be in the top ten, I mean it has a cool beat awesome music video, and great band too

This song gets me fired up, although it's a cheesy song, it's a classic and I Love it.

83 Roundabout - Yes Roundabout - Yes

This song is great. This song was released around the autumn of 1971, and this song was very popular in the States at the time. This song is the reason why Yes became very popular in the States.

One of my favorite songs this is a classic!

84 Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd

Greatest song ever by Pink Floyd... Love it! !

4 notes have never sounded so powerful and eery. Gilmour rules!

Greatest song of all time. Nothing, but nothing beats it.

One of the signature songs from the greatest bands of them all

85 Walk This Way - Aerosmith Walk This Way - Aerosmith

This is my favorite aerosmith song

Nothing more needs to be said other than it will always instantly transport a generation that went to High School in the mid 1970's back in time! -G.

Why Aerosmith are so underrated?
They're one of the greatest hard rock bands and there are only two of their songs in the top 100
People vote for their favourite song, not for the best one - Rocker00

86 Space Oddity - David Bowie Space Oddity - David Bowie

Are you kidding me? This isn't even on the list? What a joke.

This should be top ten! It's beautiful, chilling, and mysterious and very memorable. List should also include Bang a Gong by T. Rex, Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed, and have London Calling higher

87 Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams

I love this song! I thought it would be in the top 25 at least! I mean I like a lot of other rock songs but I shouldn't have to turn the page to find this. I hope more people start recognizing rock because I feel as though its beginning to be less popular.

Although there are many more better rock songs than summer of 69, I will vote this cause the real rock songs are not displaying. Please listen to the songs of sum 41. You will call them real rock songs

It took 171 songs to finally break my heart. My sincerest apologies to Bryan Adams. Logging off now. Over and out.

What this should be in the top 20 at least! 176? This shows our generation has no taste in music -_-

88 Aqualung - Jethro Tull Aqualung - Jethro Tull

It's a pity this is the only song anyone ever remembers by this brilliant individual. Locomotive Breath and Cross-eyed Mary were its equal easily, not to mention the entire "Songs from the Wood" album.

89 Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits

This song will never be old. A Mark Knopfler masterpiece. An unforgetable and beautiful solo that will be forever onthe greats rocknroll moments.

90 Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones

Do I Ryan need to explain why this song needs to be ranked higher? One of the best songs to ever capture the feel of the Vietnam war era angst without ever saying that's what it was. It applies to every tragedy. One of the best songs ever released. Lets vote it up there.

In my humble opinion this is the best Rolling Stones song and they had a lot of great ones!

46?!?!?

One of the greatest vocal solos of all time. Just Chilling.

70?. That's a crime! Top ten worthy and at very least, beats American Pie.

91 American Pie - Don McLean American Pie - Don McLean

I can't think of a song with a better crafted set of lyrics

How in the world is this only 69? This song is great, I've rare to met someone who doesn't love this song. Most of my friends and I can quote all of the lyrics.

I seriously can't understand

I guess people just don't know if it's rock or more folksy so they aren't voting it, but this song is amazing even if it's not rock

A work of pure genius and a voice to match

92 No Sugar Tonight - The Guess Who No Sugar Tonight - The Guess Who

Yes! It's nice to see the Guess Who getting some love. One of my favorite bands from the 60s and more influential than you might think.

95 Child in Time - Deep Purple Child in Time - Deep Purple

Why is this not at nr. one? It expresses great feelings in the screaming part and the guitar part is just incredibly cool! - theinvidual

The best song ever heard. The guitar solo is fantastik, and everything is perfect. Number one across the nation!

A truly masterpiece - Deep Purples finest work, if you ask me.

Great deep cut selection. If this song were better known, it would be higher up.

97 Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty

Along with Nilsson, the most underestimated artist of the last 50 years. The lyrics are wonderful, the vocals sublime and the sax chorus never bettered

Yes! I was wondering where this song was. Top 50 at least. This song just ROCKS!

Definitely should be top 20! One of the best written tunes of all time!

Brilliant track, one of his all time best

98 Born to Be Wild - Steppenwolf Born to Be Wild - Steppenwolf

One of my favorites

Great song.

99 November Rain - Guns N' Roses November Rain - Guns N' Roses

I don't know what idiot didn't put this on here in the first place, but this should definitely be in the top ten. Amazing solos here.

If you want heaven. Then listing this song. Best song ever made by human

This song should definitely be at least top 10... This is the 2nd most beautiful, after "Stairway to Heaven", I've ever heard. He (W. Axl Rose) wrote it about Erin Everly after they broke up. If you listen to this song, You'll see that he loved her just as much as any human being could ever love anything.

My third favorite rock song behind Stairway and Bohemian Rhapsody, should definitely be higher on this list!
