Top Ten Funniest Characters from Pixar Movies

The Top Ten
1 Dory (Finding Nemo) Dory is a major character from the film, Finding Nemo and its sequel, Finding Dory. She is a blue tang known for her short-term memory loss and tends to forget almost everything, even the fish that she knows personally. This makes the mission to find Nemo even more difficult for Marlin.

Dory is definitely the funniest character in the movie! To be honest, I think it's the funniest pixar character of all time! She makes the funniest jokes throughout the whole movie, the parts where she's trying to speak "whalish" are funny as hell and Marlin gets triggered so easly by her that it's so funny! While I think she went downhill in Finding Dory she had some funny moments there too, the best part about her is that she isn't afraid of anything in the movie, like when Bruce the shark appears on screen, Marlin is the only one of the two to actully be scared, you see, Dory is so funny that she ain't afraid of anything!

I would list all the funny lines Dory has in Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, but I really don't want to fill up the page.

2 Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story) Buzz Lightyear is a fictional character in the Toy Story franchise. He is a toy space ranger hero according to the movies and action figure in the Toy Story franchise. In 2022, Buzz served as the central character of the film Lightyear. He is voiced by Tim Allen in the Toy Story films, and is voiced by Chris Evans in Lightyear.

Buzz Lightyear somehow in the spinoff series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, himself is somewhat, somehow rather insensitive and unemotional at times which is one of his biggest character flaws like in the episodes, Inside Job, Eye of the Tempest, and Good Ol' Buzz.
Inside Job: Mira Nova tells him to turn up the sensitivity meter for Booster for how he thinks he's being replaced.
Eye of the Tempest: he told Bonnie Lepton or Von Madman that her feelings for him were meaningless and that he was just doing his job.
Good Ol' Buzz: Booster said that the plan that his older elder self from the future had in mind was kind of a little insensitive.

His catchphrases and lines in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command spinoff series.
To infinity and beyond.
imagine also even "Boundless infinity and beyond".
evil never wins.
imagine also even "evil never wins, crime doesn't pay".
I come in peace.
imagine even also him saying "I come in peace and mean no harm".

Yeah! Of course I would add him to the list, He is just too funny to dislike, fun fact is that when I was two years old, I was super scared of him because of the opening scene in Toy Story 2, weirdly, but anyway, where talking about how funny he is, so, in the first Toy Story movie. he believes that he is an actual space ranger and he goes acting like an idiot telling about his "adventures" in the past" and Woody constantly tries to prove he is a toy, these scenes are just so funny because Buzz always tries to find a way out to "prove he is a space ranger", he is just so hilarious! and in Ty Story 3 where he constantly speaks Spanish is just so hilarious!

Imagine also even Buzz Lightyear fitted with rocket boots like added and included.
Imagine also even Police Officer themed Buzz Lightyear like he sort of and resembles a police officer like out in space as a real true space ranger all himself from the spinoff series like his laser is just like a police officer's gun and his communicator is just like a police officer's radio and he says "Halt, who goes there?!" and "You're under arrest!" in the series all himself.
Imagine also even a rocket blast weapon to blast and shoot out of his jet pack while leaning over just like that firecracker strapped to him by Sid Phillips in the first film.
Imagine also even Cowboy Roping Buzz Lightyear like it just comes out of his chest just like in the spinoff series of the real himself like he was referred to and called "space cowboy" by someone in the episode, "Lost in Time".

3 Anger (Inside Out)

Fun Fact: Inside Out is the only pixar movie with swearing in it, and Anger is the character that swears in the movie, now he does only swear one time, but he seems to always beg to swear, he's so funny! And the looks he makes at times are hilarious and the moment at the end when he is jealous of Disgust is hilarious!

"Congratulations, San Francisco. You've ruined pizza. First the Hawaiians, and now you."

I relate to this guy

4 Woody (Toy Story) Sheriff Woody Pride is a fictional character in the Toy Story franchise. He is voiced by Tom Hanks in all of the feature-length and short films and by Jim Hanks in video games and shorts. He is a stuffed cowboy character that leads the other toys in adventures in the movies. His facial features are based on Tone Thyne, an animator for Disney at the time.

Woody tried to say Buzz was really truly just a toy and not a real space ranger all himself like in the very first movie like not a laser, but a lightbulb and his wings were plastic, so he can't fly.
I think another reason and way he might be forgetting to say about Buzz Lightyear as a toy, is "It's not hypersleep he was in or awakened from; it's storage".
Buzz Lightyear said when he first arrived, "The impact must've awoken me from hypersleep!".
in the second film and movie, Utility Belt Buzz said, "You're in direct violation of code 6404.5 stating all space rangers are to be in hypersleep until awakened by authorized personal!"
Prospector told Woody in Toy Story 2, "Well, we've be in storage for a long time waiting for you! The museum's only interested in the collection if you're in it, Woody! Without you, we go back into storage!".
I think Buzz Lightyear means in storage or out of storage, not awakened from hypersleep.

"YOU, ARE, A, TOY! " One of the best pixar quotes of all time! Made by this guy! Now, Woody isn't as cool or funny as Buzz Lightyear, but he is cool and funny enough to be in the top ten! He has some of the best lines in the first movie, and sadly went fmor funny to serious in the sequels. But he was still funny in the first movie!

5 Bruce (Finding Nemo)

I don't know how he is in the english version, but he is hilarious in the swedish version, he talks so funny and is a giant! He invites Dory and Marlin to a party but it ends being a disaster when he smells blood, he also makes a The Shining referance in the movie! Overall, he is hilarious!

I only noticed a couple years ago that the shark meeting in Finding Nemo is supposed to be like an AA meeting. Pixar, you sly dog.

Fish are friends not food.

6 Francis (A Bug's Life)

Everyone in the movie mistakes him for a girl, he is just hilarious! He looks like a princess of beauty but is actully an arrogant male "ladybug", everything he does is just hilarious!

7 Rex (Toy Story)

How was he not on here? He should be number 1!

I am so glad that you are not a dinosaur.

How did I forget him!?!

8 Chef Skinner (Ratatouille)

You gotta admit, out of all the Pixar villains this one is the funniest. Heck, to me I don't even think he's evil.

The most hilarious Pixar villain!

9 Hector (Coco)

His family are just pure jerks like they ban music even when it's everywhere all around like in the air and ubiquitous and intrinsic and pervasive and Martin Luther, a German priest and Theologian said, "Next to the word of God, music is the greatest treasure in the world".

His whole entire family are all just pure total complete jerks and pains in themselves. Them all banning music as a privilege is never a solution, right, answer, necessity, requirement, or request.

His family are all so very catty in life over their hatred with bitterness for music. Cats are animals that just hate music and hate hearing music by humans within their very own ears.

"You know what? I'm just going to zip right over. You won't even know I'm gone. *Makes a run for it*" That's our amigo, Hector.

10 Dug (Up) Dug is one of the two tritagonists of Disney/Pixar's 2009 film, Up. He also appears in Dug's Special Mission as the protagonist and in George & A.J. as a minor character.

Dug is so sadly underrated. He talks fast and brightens up the whole film. Dug puts a whole new look on the talking dog concept, and this concept would actually make sense, if we were that smart. My favorite scenes with him are when he's running around like a complete nut and yelling for squirrels (get the pun? )

The Contenders
11 Mater (Cars) Tow Mater, or simply Mater, is a character in Cars and its sequels, Cars 2 and Cars 3 as well as Cars Toons. He is voiced by Larry the Cable Guy and inspired by a 1951 International Harvester tow truck.

Sometimes he's hilarious but in Cars 2 I found him annoying for what seemed like 90% of the scenes he was in.

He was quite annoying in Cars 2 but I found him funny in Cars 1 and 3. He was probably the funniest in Cars 3.

He brighten up Cars and Cars 3 and made up the whole masterpiece called Cars 2!

12 Edna Mode (The Incredibles) Edna Mode is a fictional character from Pixar's Incredibles Franchise. She is a well-known suit designer for super heroes of all kind. She has a slightly spunky attitude and firmly believes that your costume should be powerful, while still looking good.

I found her rather annoying.

Get her to number 1

13 Bailey (Finding Dory)

I love this guy! I don't know why people hate him!

14 Russell (Up)

He's really funny and actually lightens up the whole movie like Dug. Up is such a good movie in general to me though.

15 Syndrome (The Incredibles) Syndrome (born as Buddy Pine) is the primary antagonist in The Incredibles. He wanted to be super like the others, even though he had no powers. He was Mr. Incredible's #1 fan, and dubbed himself "Incrediboy," but he was rejected by Mr. Incredible. Angered after being refused, he developed an evil plan for revenge. Despite not having any super powers, he is extremely intelligent and creates state-of-the-art gadgets that he uses throughout the film.

Funny? Are you serious, he is just some butthurt villain who gets triggered for the smallest things!

16 Forest Woodbush (The Good Dinosaur)

I can't describe how funny and underrated this guy is, he is only on screen in like two minutes but he was funny enough! He talks so slow, and actully is funny (unlike sloths in Zootopia). "This, is, blablabla. He/She protects me from blablabla." I love this guy!

17 Fear (Inside Out)

He was very hilarious at parts of the movie.

18 Marlin (Finding Nemo)

Ok, yes, a very serious guy in the movie, but just like Hank the Octopus, he can be hilarious at times!

19 Roz (Monsters, Inc.)
20 Bob Parr (Incredibles 2) Robert "Bob" Parr, also known as Mr. Incredible, is the protagonist of The Incredibles and is the deuteragonist of Incredibles 2. He is voiced by Craig T. Nelson.

This guy can be a real jerk and pain in himself usually in the films because for how he is unintelligible and clueless with a lack of clarity and coherence due to wanting to live the glory days from the past of nostalgia. He also even doesn't read others properly or pay attention as much in life.

21 Mike Wazowski (Monster Inc.) Michael Wazowski also known as Mike, is a main character in Monsters, Inc. and the main character of its prequel Monsters University. He is a lime green spherical monster with one large green eye, two small horns on his head, and thin arms and legs attached to either side of his torso. He is voiced ...read more.
22 Sid Phillips (Toy Story) Sid Phillips is a fictional character in the Toy Story franchise. He serves as the primary antagonist of the original Toy Story film.
23 Chick Hicks (Cars)
24 Hank the Octopus (Finding Dory)

Ok, Hank is a very serious guy in the movie, but sometimes he is hilariuous!

25 Hamm (Toy Story) Hamm is a supporting character in the Toy Story franchise. He is a wisecracking plastic piggy bank with a cork in his belly. Hamm is voiced by John Ratzenberger.
