Most Powerful Disney Characters

The Top Ten
  1. Chernabog

Chernabog is a Disney villain from the 1940 animated film Fantasia, appearing in the segment "A Night on Bald Mountain." He is portrayed as a powerful demon who rises from a mountain to summon spirits and cause chaos. The character is based on Slavic folklore and is one of Disney's most iconic representations... read more

He is the creator of dark magic and can summon the dead and open a portal to hell. He is part bat god and part Minotaur. He is definitely the most powerful and evil Disney character!

He is the god of evil, darkness, and everything bad. He controls all of those things. In addition, he is a god, so he can't die. Beat that.

  2. Yen Sid

Yen Sid has powers and abilities beyond most other characters. In Fantasia, much of his magic is obtained through his sorcerer's hat. With the hat, he can conjure up mystic clouds that take the shape of bats and other creatures. It can also bring inanimate objects to life, like broomsticks and even broomstick shards. It is said that he can make diamonds out of warts and elephants out of cats.

Despite this, he possesses abilities without the hat, presumably through years of study and discipline in the arts of sorcery. When Mickey accidentally flooded the tower with the hat, Yen Sid stormed in and forced the water to dissolve, creating large waves - all without the hat.

  3. Hercules

Hercules is the titular protagonist of Disney's 1997 animated feature film of the same name. He is the son of the Olympian gods Zeus and Hera. After being stripped of his immortality by Hades, Hercules grows up among mortals but retains superhuman strength and eventually trains to become a true hero... read more

He is the son of Zeus and Hera. He is a god, he destroyed the Titans, and he is immortal.

He's so sweet, and with or without powers, he still protects Meg!

He lifted four Titans at once and even beat one with no powers, which shows both power and battle prowess.

  4. Phantom Blot

I mean, he can suck magic out of other beings.

  5. Elsa

Queen Elsa of Arendelle is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios' Frozen (2013) and its sequel Frozen II (2019). She is voiced by Idina Menzel, and her innate ability to create and manipulate ice and snow is central to the films' narratives. Elsa's signature song Let It Go... read more

The range of Elsa's magic is impressive. For starters, she can create almost anything out of ice from thought alone and can also use ice to manipulate other objects. The ease with which she builds that palace is insane, not to mention the fact that she is capable of creating new lifeforms with personalities of their very own, capable of feeling complex emotions - such as love in Olaf's case. Her powers seem to have very few (if any) limits.

She has ice powers. She built a huge ice castle and a giant snow monster named Marshmallow. She also brought winter to a huge kingdom. If that isn't powerful, I don't know what is.

  6. Spring Sprite

  7. Genie

The Genie is a magical character from Disney's Aladdin franchise. He is a comedic, shape-shifting jinn who resides in a magical lamp and grants three wishes to whoever releases him. In the original 1992 animated film, the Genie was voiced by Robin Williams, whose performance became one of the most iconic... read more

Nigh-omnipotent. He can alter his shape and size at will, create matter from nothing, break the fourth wall, and see into the future to get inspired by future people when doing impressions. He can alter and warp reality, has phenomenal cosmic powers (aka nigh-omnipotence), and now semi-phenomenal cosmic powers, which aren't even that much weaker. He can fly, create unlimited duplicates of himself that share his powers, and is immortal.

Genie can do just about anything. He can shapeshift into any form, create anything he wants from nothing, and create an unlimited number of duplicates, which share his powers. Also, the fact that he is free and no longer restrained by the rules of the Genie makes him one of, if not the, most powerful Disney characters.

  8. Maleficent

Maleficent is the main antagonist in Disney's 1959 animated feature film Sleeping Beauty. She is an evil fairy and the personification of pure evil, causing misfortune throughout King Stefan's kingdom. Maleficent has since become one of Disney's most iconic villains.

She was my favorite villain, and I was surprised at how powerful she is. In every Disney game, I want, dream, and try to unlock her. For me, she is a legendary villain and as powerful as the gods.

  9. Merlin

  10. The Firebird

Chernabog may have wreaked havoc on the village in a few hours, but this guy destroyed the Sprite's forest in minutes. He may have limits, but he has no demonstrable weaknesses whatsoever. If he ever appears in the Descendants universe and is somehow on the Isle, it would be a miracle if they got him there without waking him up. They would have to move the entire mountain with him in it before he knows what's going on. Then they would have to reduce him to a less powerful form.

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

    The Core (Amphibia)

  13. ?

  14. The Contenders
  15. Bill Cipher

Bill Cipher is a triangular dream demon featured in the animated television series Gravity Falls. Originally confined to the mindscape, he was brought into the real world after being summoned by Stanford Pines over thirty years ago.... read more

He is a demon who can do almost anything he wants. Well, sort of... He can turn someone's face into a butt, but one thing he can't do is enter your mind unless he shakes your hand. He can't even beat 13-year-old kids, but he should still be number one.

He is powerful. He caused Weirdmageddon, killed Time Baby with a trillion-power blast, and can only be defeated if he gets trapped in someone's mind. Someone else outside will need to erase him to defeat him. Beating Bill Cipher is very difficult, and he is incredibly strong.

He can pull your teeth with just a finger snap. He can turn you into a gold statue and use you as a backscratcher. He can warp reality into whatever he wants. He is not just the most powerful being ever - he is BILL CIPHER!

  16. Tarzan

Tarzan is a fictional character who was raised in the African jungle by the Mangani, a species of great apes. He later comes into contact with civilization but ultimately chooses to return to the wild. Wise, strong, and kind. She is by far the strongest Disney character symbolically.

  19. Jafar

Jafar is the main antagonist of Disney's 31st full-length animated feature film Aladdin. He is introduced as the sinister Royal Vizier to Agrabah's Sultan, who desires power over the kingdom. Jafar uses dark magic and manipulation to achieve his goals throughout the film.

As a genie, he has unlimited power with the restriction of being a genie. However, as the most powerful sorcerer, he has no restrictions and is the most powerful sorcerer.

So, are we talking all-powerful genie Jafar, or sorcerer Jafar? If the genie version, he wished to become the most powerful genie in the universe.

He is much better than Maleficent!

  20. Jack Sparrow

Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, is the central character in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. His eccentric and unpredictable personality is inspired by rock guitarist Keith Richards and the animated skunk Pepé Le Pew.... read more

  21. Hades

Hades is the main antagonist in Disney's 1997 animated film Hercules. He is portrayed as the god of the Underworld who seeks to overthrow Zeus and take control of Mount Olympus. Voiced by James Woods, Hades is known for his quick wit, sarcasm, and fiery temper. He plays a central role in the film's plot... read more

In my opinion, Hades is portrayed as way weaker than he should be in Hercules. In Greek mythology, he is the third strongest god. In the scene where Hercules punched him, he should have had at least enough godly intelligence to move.

He is the god of the dead and riches. He controls both those things, and as a god, he cannot die.

He is a god, immortal, and cannot die. So many reasons.

  22. Sorcerer Mickey Mouse

  23. Maui

He lifted an island out of the sea! He pulled the sun closer to Earth and even lifted the sky!

  25. Zeus (Hercules)

He's the king of the gods and ruler of Olympus. Enough said.

  26. Jack Skellington

Even though he was conflicted and blind during his movie, he still had some impressive powers.

Powers: limb removal, parkour, screaming, grave travel, flexibility, and every other ability he gained from scaring people.

He tried to be Santa in The Nightmare Before Christmas. What could he do as the Pumpkin King?

  27. Stitch

Stitch is a fictional alien character from Disney's Lilo & Stitch franchise. Also known as Experiment 626, Stitch was created through genetic engineering to be a destructive force. However, he finds a new life and family in Hawaii, where he learns the importance of love, friendship, and belonging.

Let's see... Fireproof, bulletproof, shockproof, night vision, smarter than a supercomputer, able to lift 3,000 times his own weight, completely indestructible.

    Need I go on?

I LOVE THIS GUY! But it is true that he's powerful. I mean, they locked him up in the beginning of the movie for a reason...
