Top 10 Best Pinocchio Characters

Pinocchio is a 1940 Disney film. It has been widely acclaimed as one of the greatest animated movies of all time, with the characters and songs becoming iconic to the Walt Disney Company.
The Top Ten
Pinocchio Pinocchio is a wooden puppet created by Geppetto, who dreams of becoming a real boy. Throughout the story, he faces many challenges and temptations on his journey to prove himself worthy of humanity.

Very adorable and sweet, and he's willing to help anyone. I just wish he had listened to Jiminy Cricket and his father from the start, but hey! He still got turned into a human eventually!

Most developed Disney character ever, as he evolves into a selfless, honest, and brave boy by the end.

He learns from his mistakes, making him very likable.

Jiminy Cricket Jiminy Cricket is a talking cricket who acts as Pinocchio's conscience, guiding him to make the right choices. He is assigned by the Blue Fairy to help Pinocchio stay on a moral path.

He cares for Pinocchio very much, which is always nice. He tried to protect him from the outside world and always defended him. He's a good mentor.

He is a good guy. He is really cool when you meet him.

One of Disney's most iconic characters.

Geppetto Geppetto is a kind-hearted woodcarver who creates Pinocchio and wishes for him to become a real boy. He deeply cares for Pinocchio and goes to great lengths to protect him.

Very loving, such a good father figure for Pinocchio. He kept searching for him until he found him. He didn't even eat until he found Pinocchio! Very nice man.

A kind and loving father.

Figaro Figaro is Geppetto's pet cat, known for his playful and sometimes grumpy behavior. He is loyal to Geppetto and often interacts with Cleo, the family's goldfish.

Nice cat and very funny, that's it.

Cutest Disney cat ever.

The Blue Fairy The Blue Fairy grants Geppetto's wish by bringing Pinocchio to life and promises that he can become a real boy if he proves himself brave, truthful, and unselfish. She helps guide Pinocchio at critical moments in his journey.

Not much to say about her. She did give Pinocchio a second chance, so that's a good thing.

A very underrated character.

Honest John Honest John, a sly fox, tricks Pinocchio into abandoning his path to school by luring him into dishonest ventures. He works with Gideon to profit from Pinocchio's misfortune.

He's my personal favorite. Not honest at all, but still a great character. He's very clever and manipulative, but he still has moments when he can be a bit of a bonehead. He also displays panic when the Coachman talks about Pleasure Island, so he obviously has some good in him, even if it's not much.

Underrated! Gideon as well.

The Coachman The Coachman is a sinister character who lures boys to Pleasure Island, where they are transformed into donkeys. He profits by selling these boys-turned-donkeys into labor.

He's worse than Mangiafuoco, basically the Devil for children as shown in the picture. He turned poor little boys into donkeys! That's horrible!

Stromboli Stromboli is a greedy and cruel puppeteer who exploits Pinocchio for profit in his traveling show. He locks Pinocchio in a cage when the puppet tries to escape.
Cleo the Goldfish Cleo is Geppetto's pet goldfish, who lives in a bowl in his workshop. She is often seen alongside Figaro, adding a gentle and calm presence to the household.

Geppetto's pet fish.

Monstro Monstro is a giant whale who swallows Geppetto's boat while he is searching for Pinocchio. He is known for his immense size and terrifying presence in the ocean.
The Contenders
Candlewick Candlewick is a mischievous boy who befriends Pinocchio on Pleasure Island. Like many others there, he is transformed into a donkey due to his reckless behavior.

He wasn't rude, he was just dumb for falling into the trap of Pleasure Island along with all the other kids. How could parents let their boys go to something like that by themselves?! Anyway, he's not so bad.

Have you watched the 2008 version that's very hard to find? It's quite good, and Candlewick (or Lampwick) doesn't look as hideous as in the 1940 version. He dies though...

Gideon Gideon is Honest John's mute, bumbling sidekick who assists in deceiving Pinocchio. He often provides comic relief through his clumsy actions.
