Top 10 Saddest Disney Moments of the 2010s
Disney spent the 2010s proving it could break your heart just as easily as it could make you laugh. Across animated movies, Pixar films, and television series released from 2010 through 2020, you were treated to stories about loss, sacrifice, separation, growing up, and the painful reality that some goodbyes cannot be avoided. Even when you knew a happy ending was probably waiting somewhere down the road, that did not stop certain scenes from turning a family movie night into an unexpected test of emotional endurance.

Miguel Sings Remember Me to Mama Coco - Coco
This is the only movie I've ever watched that made me cry. And I used to have serious depression for 5 years. There is a reason why this is on my list of favorite movies of all time.
Very emotional scene as Miguel plays "Remember Me" to his great-grandmother before she forgets about her father, Hector, and he disappears forever. At first, it doesn't seem to work, but Mama Coco eventually starts to remember again, singing along with Miguel just like she did with her father as a child.

Bing Bong Dies - Inside Out
Already talked about this before, but just to sum it all up, Bing Bong sacrifices himself in order for Joy to escape from the memory dump and save Riley as Bing Bong is slowly erased from Riley's memory. He asks Joy to take her to the moon for him.
"Take her to the moon for me." Dad and I can never watch it without crying. Same as I can never watch "Remember Me" from Coco without crying.

Leaving Gravity Falls - Gravity Falls
Such an emotional finale to a great series. After defeating Bill Cipher and celebrating their 13th birthday, Mabel and Dipper are ready to return home and are given a send-off by the other characters.
This was very emotional, seeing the end of a great series.

So Long, Partner - Toy Story 3
Self-explanatory. Andy leaves the toys with Bonnie as he heads off to college, and as he drives away, Woody says his last goodbye with "So Long, Partner."

Star Leaves Earth - Star vs. the Forces of Evil
At the end of season 2, Star is forced to leave Earth, but before doing so, she confesses to Marco in front of everyone at the party that she did indeed have a crush on him before returning home and leaving everyone baffled without so much as an explanation.

Baymax's Sacrifice - Big Hero 6
-
Thanos Snaps His Fingers and Half the Universe Disappears - Avengers: Infinity War
Even though I personally don't consider Marvel movies to be actual Disney movies, I just had to include this on the list.
I cried during this moment. It was the first time I've ever cried during a movie. Lol.

Spot and Arlo's Goodbye - The Good Dinosaur
The Good Dinosaur may not have been a masterpiece, but it did have its share of emotional moments, like in the final act of the movie. As Arlo is heading home, he comes across a family of cavemen who adopt Spot into their family, and Arlo and Spot say their goodbyes as they part ways.
