Top 10 Cleveland Browns Players Going Into the 2026-27 NFL Season

The Browns are still in a deep rebuilding process. They officially traded away Myles Garrett in one of the most interesting win later moves I've seen in a while. The Browns moved on from Kevin Stefanski and hired Todd Monken as their new head coach.

I want to like their draft, but it's going to take time for the results to materialize on the field. The Browns have a long way to go before they're competitive again, but they're on the right track... I think.

The elephant in the room still needs addressing, however. Who is the quarterback going to be? I don't expect too much from Cleveland this season, but that shouldn't surprise anyone.

The Top Ten

  1. Jared Verse

    The Browns shocked the football world by making a blockbuster trade with the Rams, sending Myles Garrett to LA in the process. However, they got a decent consolation prize in Jared Verse. He was named the 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year and is already showing flashes of a young Aaron Donald. He finished 2025 with 58 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles. Overall, Verse should be a great addition to the Browns defense and fill the void left by Garrett well.

  2. Denzel Ward

    Denzel Ward is a top-tier cornerback in the NFL. He has elite coverage skills, especially in man-to-man coverage. He's generally considered a top 10 cornerback in the NFL, despite there being this feeling that he's underrated or doesn't get the credit he deserves. He has made five Pro Bowls in his career so far. 2025 was a bit of a step down from 2024, but he did miss a few games last season. He should continue to be a leader in the Browns secondary.

  3. Quinshon Judkins

    Quinshon Judkins enters his second season after being selected with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 draft. After an impressive college career, he rushed for 827 yards on 230 attempts and scored seven rushing touchdowns. While his yards per attempt were low, some of that can be attributed to a weak O-line. He's set up nicely and should be the workhorse RB1 in Cleveland. He could be a good pick for fantasy football.

  4. Mason Graham

    Mason Graham had a fairly decent rookie season. His stats won't wow anybody, but he definitely had an impact on the field, even if it didn't always show up on the stat sheet. As an example, he opened up opportunities for Myles Garrett and was able to relieve double teams on him, thus leading to Garrett breaking the single-season sack record. That's no coincidence. It signals that Graham is an underrated anchor to the Browns defense.

  5. Harold Fannin Jr.

    Harold Fannin Jr. had a very good rookie season. Coming out of Bowling Green, he led the FBS in receptions (117) and receiving yards (1,555) in 2024 and was first-team All-MAC. So far, his transition to the NFL has gone smoothly. He finished with 72 receptions for 731 yards and six touchdowns, ranking eighth among all NFL tight ends. He really proved to be a valuable asset to a Browns offense that desperately needed pass catchers of any kind. He should continue to build on his success in year two.

  6. Carson Schwesinger

    At first glance, you might think, Who? But Schwesinger has already become one of the better linebackers in the league, and he's only entering year two. He was a second-round pick in 2025 (33rd overall) and was named the 2025 Defensive Rookie of the Year. He had 156 total tackles, ranking just outside the top five for most tackles. He is a bright spot on a defense that has been strong in recent seasons. Let's see what happens in year two.

  7. Grant Delpit

    Grant Delpit is overall decent. He's starting caliber for what it's worth, which, if you're Cleveland, is all you can ask for. He's versatile, can rack up tackles, and has a decent football IQ. He's dealt with injuries throughout his career, but he's at least managed to string together a couple of healthy seasons. In 2025, he had 89 tackles, 48 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 1 interception, and 2 forced fumbles.

  8. Jerry Jeudy

    Jerry Jeudy is overall a bit inconsistent and frustrating, but he has been in Cleveland for a couple of years now. In 2024, he had a breakout season and made a Pro Bowl. 2025, however, was a massive disappointment. With 50 receptions for 602 yards and two touchdowns, his production was essentially cut in half. I don't know if it's him or the quarterback carousel that's the problem, but either way, his decline in production was definitely disappointing. I think he can have a bounce back, but I'm not sure he's a true WR1 at all, honestly.

  9. Spencer Fano

    The Browns desperately need protection for their quarterback, whoever it ends up being. Fano definitely fits that need. He was a two-time first-team All-Big 12 selection, the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year, and a unanimous All-American. He's a very versatile player who barely gives up any sacks. He is a good offensive line foundational piece.

  10. KC Concepcion

    The Browns picked KC Concepcion in the first round of the 2026 draft at 24th overall. They desperately need wide receivers, and Concepcion should fit that role well. He was named first-team All-SEC in 2025 and was a consensus All-American. He can rack up yards after the catch and has good route-running abilities. As a junior at Texas A&M, he had 36 catches for 458 yards and eight touchdowns, while also returning three punts for touchdowns. He should be a decent WR2 for the Browns offense and could potentially be their version of Zay Flowers.
