Top Ten Best Green Bay Packers Players of Week 8, 2022

The Top Ten
1 Aaron Jones

See, now THIS is what happens when you give Aaron Jones the ball. Even against what was one of the best run defenses in the NFL, Jones torched the Bills for 143 rushing yards. When Jones started running well, the whole offense began to play well. I'm going to keep on saying it: FEED AARON JONES.

2 Jaire Alexander

After a rough outing against Terry McLaurin last week, Alexander bounced back in a big way against an excellent Bills receiving group. Alexander didn't allow a catch when in coverage of both Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis (though he wasn't on Diggs much). He also came away with a red-zone interception. These performances are why Alexander is one of the best cornerbacks in the league.

3 Aaron Rodgers Aaron Charles Rodgers is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Given the weapons he had to work with, Rodgers played a great game. His deep ball looked better in this game than it has all season. I think the run game definitely opened up those deep shots. He finished the game with 203 passing yards and two touchdowns. Now, Green Bay really needs to trade for a receiver (as I type this, the trade deadline is tomorrow on November 1, 2022).

4 Romeo Doubs

After a quiet stretch of games for Doubs the last few weeks, he came back with force in this game. He had two long catches, including an incredible touchdown reception. I think Doubs is going to be special.

5 Kingsley Enagbare

One underrated development at the midpoint of this Packers season is that fifth-round rookie Kingsley Enagbare has not only been getting more playing time but also playing very well. He's been getting consistent pressure, and he plays the run well. In this game, he had two tackles for a loss. He's putting together a solid rookie campaign.

6 Josiah Deguara

While Deguara only caught one pass, his main contributions came in the blocking game. The tight end was a big reason for the running backs combining for nearly 200 rushing yards.

7 A.J. Dillon

Dillon looked better than he has in the last few weeks and rushed for 54 yards.

8 Preston Smith

Smith didn't produce much as a pass rusher, but he made up for it in the run game. He had five tackles, including one for a loss.

9 Rasul Douglas

Douglas was up and down. He gave up a touchdown to Stefon Diggs but also came away with a nice interception off Josh Allen. He also led the team with six tackles and had a sack.

10 Samori Toure

The seventh-round rookie receiver caught his only pass of the game on a bomb from Aaron Rodgers. Toure managed to shake off the corner and get open in the end zone. I am interested to see more of him in the coming weeks.
