Top 10 Los Angeles Rams Players Going Into the 2026-27 NFL Season

The Rams were so close to making it to the Super Bowl last season, coming up just short against the Seahawks. This offseason, they reloaded the team and look like a legitimate Super Bowl contender, at least on paper anyways. Everyone wants to crown them Super Bowl champions already, and yes, this team should be really good, but we forget that they still have to play the games. I wouldn't be surprised if they make it that far, but I also see a scenario where they come up short.

    Matthew Stafford continues to prove he has some juice left in the tank. He is coming off a career year, capped off by winning league MVP. He led the league in passing yards (4,707) and passing touchdowns with 46.

    Even in the twilight years of his career, he's proven himself as an elite quarterback who is capable of carrying the team and running the offense. If he plays anything like he did last season, the Rams are going to go all the way. He is one of the last remaining pure passing quarterbacks in today's game.

  2. Myles Garrett

    Cleveland, what have you done? You let this man join the Rams? Myles Garrett is without a doubt the best defensive player in the NFL right now. He is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, finishing with 60 tackles, 43 solo tackles, leading the league with 33 tackles for loss, and breaking the all-time NFL sack record with 23 sacks in 2025.

    Mind you, this was all done while he was in Cleveland. Now he gets to join a real team. He is a true menace for any offensive line to contain. Now teams have to stop him and Aaron Donald. Good luck with that.

  3. Puka Nacua

    Puka Nacua is an elite wide receiver for the Rams, finishing 2025 with 129 receptions, 1,715 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns, which are all career highs. He led the league in total receptions in 2025, was a First-Team All-Pro, and earned his second Pro Bowl.

    He's very good and can really rack up yards after the catch, making him even more dangerous. Just as long as he stays out of trouble off the field. Don't become another Antonio Brown.

  4. Trent McDuffie

    The Rams got a huge piece for their secondary by taking Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs. He will definitely be missed, as I liked him as a Chief. He is a First-Team All-Pro, a Second-Team All-Pro, and a two-time Super Bowl champion.

    He finished 2025 with 63 tackles, 45 solo tackles, one sack, and two tackles for loss in 13 games played. He's very versatile, has great coverage skills, and should immediately bolster the Rams' secondary.

  5. Kyren Williams

    Kyren Williams has been a dynamic force for the Rams over the last three seasons, with over 1,000 yards in each season, also scoring 10 or more touchdowns in each of the last three seasons as well.

    He's clearly proven that he can handle a heavy running back workload. He's also capable of catching passes as well, with over 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He's a versatile player who can do a little bit of everything and is a key player for the Rams' offense.

    Well, I guess it's official. Aaron Donald pulled a Tom Brady and has come out of retirement to play with the Rams. He last played in 2023, finishing with 53 tackles, 28 solo tackles, eight sacks, 16 tackles for loss, and three passes defended.

    Regardless if he returns to form, he's still considered one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history with 10 Pro Bowls, eight First-Team All-Pros, three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and a Super Bowl championship.

    I'll be honest, I am not entirely sure why he came out of retirement when he has nothing else to prove exactly, but regardless, he's here and will be a massive addition to the Rams' defense. Next to Myles Garrett, look out, because that defense just got nasty, as if it wasn't already.

    I feel like Davante Adams is kind of forgotten about, but he's still really good. He's not getting the lion's share of the targets with Puka Nacua there, but he's still a highly productive WR2. He had 60 receptions for 789 yards in 14 games played, and he scored 14 touchdowns as well, leading the league in receiving touchdowns.

    He's a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-Team All-Pro. He's clearly still a valuable asset to the Rams, especially in the red zone.

  8. Byron Young

    Byron Young is a standout edge defender for the Rams coming off a breakout 2025 season. He finished with 82 tackles, 45 solo tackles, 12 sacks (tied for eighth most in the league), and 12 tackles for loss, earning his first Pro Bowl in 2025. PFF gave him an 85 overall grade, ranking him ninth best in the league at his position.

  9. Kevin Dotson

    Dotson is an elite, talented offensive guard. He had the third-highest run-blocking grade in the entire league (89.3) according to PFF and was the third-highest graded offensive guard (86.4) according to PFF in 2025. The Rams rely on him to have a strong run game and keep Stafford upright. He's been one of the best there is in the league at his craft ever since he became a Ram in 2023.

  10. Jaylen Watson

    The Rams acquired Jaylen Watson from the Chiefs this past offseason. He is a two-time Super Bowl champion who is coming off a breakout season in 2025. In 15 games, he had 64 combined tackles, 42 solo tackles, two sacks, and three tackles for loss.

    He's a big-body cornerback who excels at stopping the run. His 74.1 PFF grade ranked 17th in the league among cornerbacks. He will be a valuable asset to the Rams' secondary. I'm a little sad that he's no longer with Kansas City.
