Top 10 Toughest Games on the Chicago Bears 2025-26 Schedule
The Chicago Bears schedule is officially here. Honestly, there are a fair number of games we should win, but this schedule is definitely not easy. They are tied for the second-hardest schedule in the entire league based on strength of schedule, which basically takes into account opponents' records from last season.
The Bears have a lot of potential, but Ben Johnson will have his work cut out for him. With an early bye, it'll be an uphill battle for the up-and-coming Bears.
If we win 10 games, I'll be extremely happy.

Philadelphia Eagles (Week 13)
The Eagles are Super Bowl champions, and they are a good team. They have A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Saquon, and not to mention they love to spam the tush push.
The defense is also phenomenal. I mean, watch that Super Bowl against the Chiefs - they destroyed that offensive line all game long. I expect this one to be competitive, but it could very easily get out of hand.
We haven't beaten these guys since 2011, so it would not surprise me if we lose. In fact, I'm honestly expecting it.
-
Detroit Lions (Week 2)
This game will be the Ben Johnson Bowl. Obviously, emotions will probably be very high for this game, especially being played in Detroit. I can't imagine Ben will receive a very warm welcome in his first game back.
This is a game I doubt we steal, but it would be a huge game to get early in the year, especially against a division opponent who was one of the best teams in the league until injuries destroyed them.
Yeah, this will be a fun game. Not to mention, we could've beaten these guys last year if Matt Eberflus wasn't a total bonehead. Legend says he is still saving that timeout.
-
Baltimore Ravens (Week 8)
The Ravens are one of the best teams in the league on a consistent basis. They love to run the ball and can score plenty of points.
Stopping Derrick Henry and Lamar may prove to be a big challenge. Surprisingly, we have won 2 of the last 3 times we played Baltimore.
We really don't play the Ravens that often, so I have no idea how well we really match up with them. Last time we met was 2021. This game, I think we lose - especially being on the road.
-
Minnesota Vikings (Week 1)
This will be a big game early. We open at home against a division rival, which is especially tough.
J.J. McCarthy is a complete unknown wild card. This team did win 14 games last season and returns most of that team. The Vikings are overall a well-rounded bunch. Justin Jefferson, in particular, is a nightmare to defend against.
This is one of those games that could go either way. It would be big to start off with a win, especially on prime time.
-
Washington Commanders (Week 6)
This game will be a fun one. We should have won this game last year but lost on the most unimaginable, stupid, dumb-luck play ever.
This is our chance to finally get revenge. It's on the road and in prime time, meaning it's going to be an important game for us.
Especially coming off a bye, this game will be important to set the tone for the rest of the season. I actually think we take the L here, honestly.
-
Green Bay Packers (Week 14)
Playing the Packers is always tough - they are our biggest rival after all. This game would be very big if we win it.
We actually beat them there last year and should have swept them, honestly. I think we at least split with them.
With this game being late in the season, it'll be a pretty critical game for us.
-
Cincinnati Bengals (Week 9)
The Bengals are weird. They have an explosive offense that can light up the scoreboard, but they have literally no defense at all. Trey Hendrickson is all they have.
They will be hungry this year after barely missing the playoffs last year. This game is on the road, which makes it a little tougher too.
I actually think we drop this game and take the L if we can't contain Ja'Marr Chase. It would be big to have this one, though.
-
Green Bay Packers (Week 16)
We play the Packers twice in like a three-week span. This is the second game, and it's in Chicago.
Last season, we finally beat these guys for the first time in like five years or something. The good news is we should be very familiar with them, and playing them twice in a three-week span means they will still be fresh in our minds.
Also, at the end of the season, this game may either become super important or not important at all depending on records.
-
Minnesota Vikings (Week 11)
This game is on the road, which is never easy - especially against a division rival like the Vikings, who are pretty solid overall. They did win 14 games last year with Sam Darnold and return most of that same team.
By this point, we should be very familiar with them, as we would have already played once before in the season. I say we really need to split with the Vikings and everyone in the division.
-
Dallas Cowboys (Week 3)
To be honest, I see this game going either way. This game is a home game for us, which I think is an advantage.
I don't exactly love the direction the Cowboys are going. There is a reason this team hasn't made the NFC Championship in like 30 years. That's sad and pathetic - even we have made it more recently. But that's neither here nor there.
We did beat them the last time they came to Chicago. This is a game that, if we want to have a good season, we have to have.
