Top 10 Best Nintendo Game Boy Games
The top ten best games for the original Nintendo Game Boy handheld gaming system.

Pokemon Yellow
Some would argue that this is a Game Boy Color game. It says Game Boy on the box but uses the Game Boy Color's features if played on a Color. Gold and Silver were in the same boat, and they said Game Boy Color on the box. Also, the 3DS eShop listed this as a Game Boy Color game.
So it arguably shouldn't be on this list, and Gold and Silver definitely shouldn't be. Unless you want to count them as the same system, but this list specified that it's for original Game Boy games.
An amazingly good game that never gets old. The character in the game is not Ash or Red. It is Yellow from the Japanese Manga series. Look it up.

Tetris
The most popular game of all time should be number one!
-
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
It's everything you love from A Link to the Past wrapped into Game Boy with a twist of Mario to make it feel fresh.
It's everything you loved from A Link to the Past, but on the small screen.
-
Super Mario Land
My favorite platform game. Once mastered, you can complete it in twenty minutes, but it's still fun and full of hidden extras.
-
Kirby's Dream Land
It's a fun game that you can play over and over again even though it's short. It appeals to both beginners and experienced players. And its soundtrack is awesome (even though there would be better music in later games).

Pokemon Red Version
I love this game! I got through all eight gyms and beat the Elite Four. Then I caught Mewtwo with the Master Ball! My Pokemon were Blastoise, Charizard, Gengar, Venusaur, Alakazam, and Pidgeot!
The game that taught me how to read and what started Pokemon. Still pretty amazing to this day.
My first Game Boy game. I still play it. Pokemon never gets old. You can't get bored with it.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
This needs the number one spot. My favorite game of all times.
Best Game Boy game. The ones above don't compare.
-
Pokemon Gold
Generation 2 was definitely where the series reached its high point. Heck, you could even go to the place Red/Blue/Yellow took place and find new and more exciting things in the world. The gameplay was more fixed and balanced than that of Generation 1 and had a variety of ways to care for your Pokémon.
I love how people think Pokemon Yellow was better.

Amazing game, in my opinion better than Red/Blue/Yellow. I prefer this one because I like Lugia.

Kirby's Dream Land 2
-
Micro Machines
-
Catrap
-
Final Fantasy Adventure
How is this game so far down? It not only began the Seiken Densetsu series but also inspired the SaGa (Final Fantasy Legend) games. This game deserves to be in the top ten.
