Link refers to several different incarnations of the same protagonist of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series. Dude why is Link not first? He's the only TRUE hero, in fact, basically his whole existence in each timeline is based on the fact that he is THE HERO that will save the whole frikin world! Hero of Time, Hero of Winds, Hero Chosen by the Goddesses, Hylia's Chosen Hero, the list is endless! Link has the true heart of a hero, he most ALWAYS is risking his life for other people, whereas other characters might have something in it for themselves. It is ridiculous that Link isn't even second or third.
How is Link beaten by Yoshi, Kirby, and Donkey Kong... I really don't understand. Link is THE hero of Nintendo... An honest-to-goddesses hero. Completely selfless and doesn't even say a word, or expect anything in return. Honestly now, when you picture the knight in shining armor, do you see a cartoony dinosaur? A pink ball with a face? A banana-obsessed gorilla with a tie? Well personally, I can only imagine Link.
As we saw in ocarina of time, link can lift incredible things, and as we saw in every other game, he's an incredibly competent all around fighter, bows, swords, even boomerangs. He can fly, as seen in wind waker, can sail a boat, run a train, ride a horse, if one hero can do that many things and still fight monsters such as Demise(a beast) volvagia, Gohma, and etc? How can he be any less than the best?!
If ganon game agenst Mario, kirby, sonic or yoshi they would fail horribly. Link on the other hand would kick his ass.

His first game was created in 1992, and the pink puffball has made his way into the hearts of fans of all ages. He's so cute and good hearted. He always wants to help every one he meets and he's also the super tuff pink puff.
Kiby is a badass. He can suck up giant block of stone, he can swallow enemies and obtain their power. Overall Kirby is AWESOME

He is the most iconic character in video game history and is Nintendo's unofficial mascot. His franchise has grown to be the most successful video game franchise of all time. By far the best!

Yoshi, once romanized as Yossy, is a fictional anthropomorphic dinosaur who appears in video games published by Nintendo. Often appearing as a sidekick and helper to Marion, Yoshi is most known for his appearances in the Yoshi's Island and the Super Mario franchises. In his own series, his background was fully developed. He was a young dinosaur who found a baby who would later become a hero, and he insisted he and his clan will find his brother from their archenemies: Bowser, and Kamek, and return them to their rightful parents multiple times. Yoshi saved two iconic babies. He deserves to be the number 1 hero.

He's got a wicked long tounge that reach long distances, grab food and other things. He can breathe fire, grow wings which gives him the ability fly in the sky, flutter in mid air, pound the ground and other cool stuff.
There are other coloured Yoshi species and Yoshi has his own videogames starring him as the hero. Yoshi is my special childhood hero and friend.
