Heroes of Might and Magic III
Released in 1999, this turn-based strategy game became a critical and commercial success with refined mechanics and deep gameplay. It introduced new factions, campaigns, and enhanced multiplayer modes. The game I played for the longest period of time. Utter and complete addiction!
There is no debate about it. Heroes III is the best game on the planet.
Simply the best!
From the sublime to the ridiculous is just one step.
Est modus in rebus!
Heroes of Might and Magic V
Developed by Nival Interactive, this 2006 entry marked the series' transition to fully 3D graphics. It retained the classic turn-based gameplay while adding innovations like dynamic camera angles. Amazing game with a beautiful world and a charming story. I love the beauty of the cities.
It's a copy of Heroes III but with better graphics and slightly worse gameplay.
The balance between graphics and variety is the best in the series.
Heroes of Might and Magic IV
This 2002 installment featured significant gameplay changes, including the ability for heroes to actively participate in combat. The game introduced a new graphical style and a story-driven campaign structure. This is my favorite Heroes game because it has very strong RPG elements. That's the only reason. Both III and V are better in terms of strategy, though.
Heroes should have actual abilities and fight in combat. IV brought us that.
Great improvements to the magic system. I love the way heroes work.
Heroes of Might and Magic II
Released in 1996, this sequel built upon its predecessor with additional factions, units, and campaigns. It featured an expanded storyline and improved visuals and gameplay balance. Fantastic game with unbalanced, classic gameplay.
Classic Slugfest is such a great map to play on.
Heroes of Might and Magic VI
Launched in 2011, this game was developed by Black Hole Entertainment and served as a prequel to earlier titles. It introduced a new reputation system and a streamlined resource model.
Heroes of Might and Magic VII
Released in 2015 by Limbic Entertainment, this game continued the tradition of strategic turn-based gameplay. It introduced customizable skill wheels and six playable factions. It's too short, with too little to do. Otherwise, it's a really good installment.
Not the best one, but a fine rehabilitation after the M&MH VI fiasco.
Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East
This 2007 standalone expansion introduced the Orc faction and a variety of new units and abilities. It provided a conclusion to the storyline of Heroes of Might and Magic V. Best game from the Heroes of Might and Magic V series.
Heroes of Might and Magic
The original game, released in 1995, laid the foundation for the series with its simple yet engaging turn-based strategy gameplay. It featured four factions and a basic but functional campaign. I played this when it came out. Nostalgia 10/10.
Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate
This 2006 expansion added the Dwarven faction, new campaigns, and a random map generator. It expanded the lore and content of Heroes of Might and Magic V.
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
Released in 2009, this spin-off combined puzzle and strategy elements with an RPG storyline. It featured a unique combat system centered around unit alignment and chaining.

Heroes of Might and Magic II (Game Boy)
Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade
Released in 1999, this expansion for Heroes of Might and Magic III added a new faction, the Conflux, along with new campaigns and artifacts. It also introduced a random map generator. Great expansion. It lets you play characters who were non-playable in the original version.
