Best Sly Cooper Games

The Top Ten
  1. Sly 2: Band of Thieves

Released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2, Sly 2: Band of Thieves is the sequel to Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. The game follows Sly Cooper and his gang as they attempt to stop the Klaww Gang from reassembling the robotic remains of Clockwerk. It introduced larger, open-ended levels with multiple playable characters including Bentley and Murray.

My #1 favorite game of all time. Everything about it is just perfect. I have one rule in life, and that is I have to play Sly 2 and Sly 3 (my #2 favorite game of all time) at least once each year.

This is one of the best games ever. I've replayed the game a hundred times because it's so good.

This is the best Sly game ever. It has everything a good game needs. I mean, Clockwerk's redemption!

  2. Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves was released in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. The game centers on Sly gathering a team of specialists to help him infiltrate a fortress and unlock the Cooper family vault. It featured new playable characters and introduced optional 3D sections using special glasses included with the game.

Best game of all time! End of story.

  3. Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus

Launched in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is the first entry in the series. The game follows Sly on a mission to recover pages of the Thievius Raccoonus, a family heirloom containing thieving techniques stolen by the Fiendish Five. Its gameplay combined platforming with stealth elements across multiple worlds.

The graphics don't age well, but it still beats Sly 4 by a considerable margin.

I have beaten this game 23 times, and I'm still playing it today.

  4. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time was released in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The story involves Sly and his gang traveling through different historical eras to recover missing pages from the Thievius Raccoonus. It was developed by Sanzaru Games rather than the original studio, Sucker Punch Productions.

I thought this game was great. I liked the new graphics and the story, although the final boss was not pleasing. I'd say this would be the second best. The changes made were pretty good, and Sly 3 felt like an okay copy of Sly 2. Some features weren't really fun, and it didn't bring anything major in terms of change. Sly 4 changed some things significantly while keeping similar gameplay. It was still a nice change.

This is second after Sly 3.
