Naval Piranha Naval Piranha is a large, plant-like boss encountered in the game, featuring a vulnerable spot on its face. It attacks using projectiles and attempts to charge at Yoshi during the battle. Players must use well-timed eggs to exploit its weak point.

Naval Piranha. This is hands down the best boss in this entire game, at least for me. I have stated that I think the fourth world of this game is the best world because it has a forest and water setting. This boss battle is a mix of these and is one of the reasons why I think World 4 is the best world in the game.

He not only has the best and most badass soundtrack in the game, but he's also very fun and original. His setting is awesome as you fight him in the sewers, which I find quite fun in video games. This guy is one of the harder bosses in the game as well. You have to be extra careful to avoid his attacks. Oh yeah, and I really like his design, so there's that too.

He's a classic in terms of Yoshi bosses. I wouldn't be too surprised if he reappears in Yoshi's Crafted World, considering how much of a classic he is, along with Burt the Bashful.

Snifberg the Unfeeling Snifberg is an icy foe with the ability to slide around the arena and launch frozen attacks. It creates barriers of ice to block Yoshi's movements during the fight. Breaking through the defenses allows players to land hits on Snifberg.

One of the most memorable bosses of the game, especially in terms of its soundtrack. For such a cute, charming, and nostalgic video game, this boss has some true badass heavy metal music with different phases. There's even a different phase that plays when the boss is vulnerable, and it's quite badass.

Even the name of the boss is epic. He is a large Snifit surrounded by a huge ice cup that must be broken so you can actually attack and damage him. I love it. It truly fits as the final "world boss" before the final world of the game, and it gives a nice, epic feeling. Let's not forget how badass Snifberg the Unfeeling looks. I really like that design.

Baby Bowser Baby Bowser is the final boss, appearing with a variety of attacks that grow in complexity. He initially uses small-scale assaults but later transforms into a massive, threatening version. The fight requires precision and strategy to overcome his forms.

Baby Bowser is the final boss and the main antagonist of this game. First things first, the fight has two phases. The first one is a warm-up, and the final phase is like the "epic final battle." The first phase is a bit basic, but it's quite cool, and I love the soundtrack played there. It sounds like something from a Despicable Me movie (the first one, not the sequels, which have a different feel).

Then there's the more epic final phase, which is my favorite of the two. Not only is it more epic with a better soundtrack, but it's also harder and more original. I really like the whole aspect of that fight. Sure, it's not nearly as epic as the final boss of Yoshi's Island, but it's still quite epic, at least for such a cute game.

Bunson the Hot Dog Bunson is a fiery, dog-shaped boss who uses flames to attack. It runs around the battlefield, leaving trails of fire that players must dodge. Yoshi must cool it down and strike during vulnerable moments to win.

Hands down the cutest boss battle of the game. These hot dog enemies, which are basically red dogs with giant heads that spit out fireballs, were already cute enough, and this boss is just so cute as well. This is one of those bosses you don't want to fight because of how cute it is, and you immediately start to feel bad as you defeat him.

But his cuteness is what makes me really love this boss battle. It's an entertaining and really fun boss. I just don't like that I have to kill him. His design is just so cute. The soundtrack is probably one of my least favorites in the game, but this boss is still quite awesome in my honest opinion. So yeah, this one definitely deserves a spot on the list.

Knot-Wing the Koopa Knot-Wing is a Koopa character that relies on spinning and aerial attacks. The boss uses large leaps to crash into the stage and create shockwaves. Yoshi must time attacks carefully to knock it over and expose its weak spot.

There are two mid-bosses in the game. There's Big Montgomery, who's fought in the odd-numbered worlds such as World 1, 3, and 5, and then there's Knot-Wing the Koopa, who's fought in the even-numbered worlds such as World 2, 4, and 6. Knot-Wing the Koopa is the better of the two. There's no contest. He's actually good, whereas Big Montgomery is the only bad boss in the game.

Knot-Wing has the catchiest song in the entire game, and the boss itself is quite fun and original. Knot-Wing the Koopa is one fat Koopa with a huge belly, and you have to ground pound on his belly to damage him. One thing is for sure: he's way better than the other mid-boss. He's a pretty good boss for a mid-boss and makes the fortress levels in this game much better than they'd otherwise be.

Miss Cluck the Insincere Miss Cluck is a chicken-like boss hiding inside a protective egg. It rolls and hops around the arena, using the egg as a shield. Breaking through the shell reveals the chance to deal damage.

World 3 was probably my least favorite world in the entire game. The sky and sweets setting was boring, the colors didn't go well together, and it was all too bright. However, it still had some redeeming qualities. There was that level with cute birds.

The biggest redeeming factor, though, is this boss battle. Miss Cluck the Insincere is a little chicken inside an egg, flying and doing all sorts of tricks. Despite being the boss of World 3, she, along with Naval Piranha, is among the hardest bosses in the game. She is particularly hard for me to hit for some reason. Her soundtrack is also one of the best in the game. It's so catchy.

Burt the Bashful Burt is a simple, balloon-like boss who attacks by bouncing around the arena. As the battle progresses, layers of fabric unravel, making him smaller. Yoshi must time attacks to fully defeat Burt.

Burt the Bashful is quite a basic boss, but after all, he's the first world boss in the entire game. To be fair, he's a classic. He and Naval Piranha (along with Baby Bowser) are the only boss battles in this game that originally appeared in the original Yoshi's Island, and they have always been quite fun bosses. Burt is a bit basic and way too easy, but you can't deny how catchy that soundtrack in the background is.

I really like how after each time you damage him, he'll spawn two copies of himself that he'll balance on, which makes the player perspective bigger. Burt still deserves some love in my opinion. Number six is where he belongs.

Big Montgomery Big Montgomery is a mole-themed boss that burrows underground and pops up to attack. It uses projectile and melee strikes to challenge players. The key to defeating it is hitting its exposed head after its moves.

The only boss battle I truly didn't like at all. It's about as basic as it can get and is just a big Monty Mole made of wool. He's the mid-boss of the odd-numbered worlds. Considering World 1 is an odd-numbered world, that might explain why he's so terrible because he's supposed to be super easy. His soundtrack isn't any better. It's rather basic and stale, even though I guess it's kinda catchy, but that's not saying much. Because of how basic he is, this is my least favorite boss in the entire game.
