    His humor, arsenal full of weapons, and badass skills are what make this protagonist perfect. He truly deserves to be one of the most iconic characters in gaming history.

    Sorry, but if he is an anti-hero, demon-slaying, food-loving, with so many weapons to fight with, lazy, and careless, he should be number one.

    Many people think he is an anti-hero, but he is not. He is the best, badass character of DMC. DMC destroyed him.

    Brother of Dante and yet equal in power. Calm, cool, collected, and serious. A great character, better than DMC 5 Vergil.

    Who in the world doesn't like Vergil? I like his attitude, and like Dante, he is always serious.

    Elegant, glacial. Vergil is Dante's perfect nemesis. I love his composure and his style.

    Awesome, a badass, half-demon, half-human. He was a great addition to DMC and deserves more credit. The son of Vergil, nephew of Dante, and yet calls Dante 'old man'. Brilliantly awesome.

    I have never played with Dante, so I choose Nero because I love Nero. He is strong enough to destroy any boss in seconds.

    Was able to stop both Dante and Vergil from fighting, and also able to beat one of them, supposedly equal in power brothers. Deserves to be in the top 3.

    Sexy as all heck! I seriously ended up loving him over Dante even before the game release, but more so after playing his parts of the game.

    V has been my favorite ever since I saw him in the 5th Devil May Cry game release. He will forever be my favorite DMC character!

    Somehow, this new character became more fun to play than Nero and Dante. He's the greatest character addition of the whole franchise.

    Most mysterious guy. At least his face is all we know. He's legendary, making me more curious about how powerful he truly is. If he were still around, would he simply use his base form against Devil Trigger Dante, Nero, and Vergil? Just because he's that strong? I wonder.

    He's a favorite character even though he has never actually appeared in the series? Okay.
