Worst Video Games of the 2010s
Let's refrain from easy targets like Shovelware games or bad licensed games. Try to keep it at more prominent, actual games. As a fan of the original trilogy, I am deeply disappointed with the turnout of this game. It's one big middle finger from BioWare to the fans of the series.
The only reason this game was made was so that Activision could sneak one last Tony Hawk game in before their contract with the series expired. Even when the trailers were announced, everyone could see that very little effort or passion was put into the game. It's also baffling as to why Robomodo was in charge of this game, despite every Tony Hawk game they developed prior to this failing miserably (and then they shut down in 2016. Hmm, I wonder why).
From a whole day-one patch to poor gameplay, to unappealing levels, and a mediocre soundtrack slapped on top, this game was a mess. Doomed from the very start.
This game is truly the gift that keeps on giving. I highly recommend you watch Internet Historian's "The Fall of 76" if you haven't already, but everything covered in that video is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how poorly this game has performed and what it has done to Bethesda's reputation. One year later, incidents involving this game continue to happen, and we can only wait for a part 2 to "The Fall of 76".
Why wasn't this crap already on here?!
Well... I never thought I'd ever see the second coming of the game Wrestlemania 21 nearly 15 years later. Unplayable gameplay, weird and scary glitches. WWE 2K20 might as well be a sour end to the WWE games since WWE 2K21 was considered canceled thanks to the negative press surrounding this disaster of a wrestling game. Who knew once THQ had finally parted ways with Yukes that Visual Concepts would have programming deficiencies making the game nearly unplayable.
