In Jong Un's mind, (and in real life) the residents are just slaves to him. They can't do anything, but work in mines with no pay, or serve in the military. But half of them end up in a concentration camp, for 3 generations! They can't do anything in the outside world, and have to be forced to stay in hell for life.
