-
Realism
Made to look realistic, obviously. Anything from intricate faces to lifelike nature art.
-
Japanese
Anime seems to be the trend with this category in mind.
Although I've also done illustrations depicting their folklore and aesthetics in unique designs.
-
Watercolor
Good thing I practiced this a lot in elementary school.
-
Traditional
These include wild animals and mythical creatures most of the time.
-
Geometric
Easily, in my opinion, one of the hardest styles to learn and master. It doesn't happen very often, fortunately.
-
Neo-Traditional
Going beyond what's usually sketched as a tattoo.
-
Botanical
Flowers and plants are always to be expected as a consideration.
-
Illustrative
Stylized to its full extent. There hasn't been a single category that doesn't also fit into what one might call visually captivating, but this is as close as you're getting.
-
Minimal
Not requiring much elaboration. Best described as less acting as more.
-
Chicano
Associated with the Mexican Revolution and culture overall.
