Top Ten Things Tomboys Like

1. Sports

   I love to play sports like soccer and sometimes other sports, even if I am not that good at them. But I am good at soccer. I sometimes like to watch soccer or other sports, but I do not really care about the teams for some reason. Oh, and I love running too, and I actually get good mile and pacer scores.

   Sports are amazing! I don't get how people don't like them. It's kind of ridiculous, as they are lazy for their lives. I love basketball and soccer (some people get confused with American football and football, so I call it soccer)!

2. Jeans

   Of course, I like jeans. They are better than dresses and skirts.

   I only like boyfriend jeans, cargo jeans, and wide-leg jeans.

   I really only wear jeans, and if not, sweatpants.

   Heavy metal always makes me feel pumped up, and it's just straight-up epic. Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest - what else do you need to know? These bands are awesome.

   Heavy metal is a pretty good genre, but I prefer alternative or punk rock.

   I love rock music. It is the best genre, especially punk rock. Bands like Green Day are just so awesome. I got addicted to this genre after listening to a couple of songs. Now I feel like I like it better than pop. Rock is real music and actually requires talent to play, but at the same time, you get to listen to awesome songs that are fun. I like loud, fast-paced, catchy music, not boring, slow-paced, uncatchy, quiet music.

   I... love... ROCK! Aerosmith, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Guns 'n Roses... all of them! When I was in middle school, every day when I came home, I put on the radio to the rock station.

5. Any Color Other Than Pink

   Yes! I hate pink. I try to avoid anything pink, even if it is just a little. But boys can like the color pink too. I know plenty of boys at my school who like the color pink. I like black, red, green, and blue, mainly dark colors.

   I've always had some hate for pink. I seriously don't know why though. I would make comments every few days saying stuff like "It better not be pink." or "I'm not wearing this! It's pink! I HATE PINK!"

   Pink is only good as an aesthetic. However, I would rather eat a snail than wear anything that has pink on it. I prefer wearing dark colors like black and blue.

6. Video Games

   I love video games. I am not a huge gamer, but I do like playing them. Forza Motorsport and Halo are dope - awesome graphics, cool weapons and cars, and challenging gameplay.

   I love to play Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo, Fortnite, and other action games, along with Need for Speed.

   I have a Switch, and I play video games on it! I usually play Mario Odyssey, Animal Crossing, Mario games, and Rocket League!

7. Duct Tape

   Duct tape on guitars and that kind of stuff is tomboyish (the ugly kind of duct tape). The glittery and decorative duct tape used to make items is girly.

   Duct tape holds things together. It's strong and useful. I can see why it appeals to tomboys.

8. Hanging Out with Boys

   I had four girlfriends and 15 boy friends when I was a kid. I got along better with the guys. I just fought with the girls. I was best friends with this one kid, and he's really cool!

   I hang out with boys and girls. It doesn't matter to me who I hang out with, as long as they are cool, nice, and accept me for who I am.

9. Dancing

   I like using Just Dance, but most of the time, I do my own freestyle hip-hop dancing. My little cousin always wants to see me get sturdy and dance every single time I see him.

   I love dancing! It might be considered a girly thing, but it's really fun! I took a dance class when I was a kid, and it was SO fun! I can't even explain it!

   I love to dance to cool songs, but I don't like ballet or anything like that. I prefer breakdancing.

10. Meat

    Meat is the way to go! If you don't like chicken wings or tenders with fries, then you're missing out, bro!

    MEAT! YES! My favorite food when I was a kid was meat, meat, meat. That's all I eat.

    I love all types of meat! Hot dogs, sausages, meatballs, etc.

13. Ponytails

    I like my hair short (so far it's only been a chin-length bob), and once my hair gets past my neck, I put it in a ponytail. Now, I don't mind it down (I don't hate it as much as I used to, but I still don't like it), but I like it better up when it's long because it's out of the way. As for other hairstyles... no thanks.

    Ponytails are okay, but I hate other hairstyles. I just want my hair to be plain, that's it. I hate curling my hair and making all these fancy hairstyles that my mom wants me to have.

    I wear my hair in a ponytail a lot, especially for school! My nan sometimes tells me to put a bow in, but is it okay for tomboys to have a bow in their hair?

    I have three big trees in my backyard, and in the summer, my mom says, Get out of the trees and go play with your girlfriends, and I say, No, I want to play with the boys.

    I always climb trees. There's a giant park with lots of trees, and I'm usually the first to climb them among my friends.

    Yes, tree climbing is lit! It's so much fun, dude. Bruh, if you don't like doing it because you might get hurt, then you're just a sore loser.

    I was so surprised to see this brand here because I wear it all the time!

16. Animals

    Snakes rule! I'm going to sneak one into my house past my overly girly, toxic mother so I can have a cute little companion that's not a dog.

    Animals like dogs, big cats, reptiles, or insects are great. I prefer any animal that isn't typically considered cute, like kittens or Chihuahuas.

    I like animals, but my friendship with my ex-bestie ended over them, which was such a dumb reason.

17. Leather

    I wish I had a leather jacket, preferably one with studs on it.

    I love leather jackets. They are badass.

    I actually wear black a lot. Honestly, I wear any dark colors.

    I get it, "emo" is a thing, but I only wear black hoodies and stuff.

    It's a kids' show. I get it. Teenagers love it. It's for both tomboys and girly girls.

    My favorite characters are Amethyst, Garnet, Spinel, and Mystery Girl!

    Marvel is the best thing ever created! Whoever dislikes it has no sense of humor. May Iron Man, Loki, Vision, Gamora, Black Widow, and Captain America rest in peace. (If I've made a mistake, please inform me. I've only watched Endgame once so far.)

    Superheroes have always been an obsession. This probably relates to my love of action movies, anime, and shows.

    Music is what makes me happy. Music is what helps me escape from reality. Music is what I love. (I love these two boy groups, Stray Kids and Enhypen, and love playing the violin.)

    Music helps me focus because it blocks out the sounds around me.

    Classic hits and classic rock hits are the best, honestly.

23. Being Tough

    While it may not look that way, I am actually pretty tough! I feel like most tomboys are.

    Being tough shows a lot. It shows that toughness can get you through so much.

    Just being tough can make you tomboyish, even if you like girly stuff.

    Skateboarding looks so cool! Soon, I'm going to learn how to skateboard, and my friend is teaching me. I really want to learn how to kickflip and grind rails.

    In the summer, my cousin and my brother are going to teach me how to skateboard. I can't wait!

    I love this, but what sucks is that I am not allowed to skate. It really sucks for me.
