The Top Ten
1 Legends: Darkstalker

This book has the most awful deaths. This is the book with the most violent scenes. But, I think it's okay because there aren't much descriptions. The author skipped the most violent parts.

There was a masikar, and there was a attempted murder. And then a ton of other stuff, like someone (Darkstalker the villain) killing his father (Prince Arctic) which I felt very sorry for, and also almost Fathom's entire family was wiped out by his grandfather, and then he had to kill him in the end

Yes, Definitely Darkstalker, do any other books have a dragon mind controlling his father to disembowel himself? No.

2 The Dragonet Prophecy

There certainly are a lot of killing. Especially the Prologue and Epilogue. Actually, the dragons killed by Peril doesn't have extremely violent deaths. I just thought that Queen Scarlet and Burn are violent dragons.

Hvitur is killed by Burn. Dune's neck is snapped by Scarlet. Horizon is killed by Peril's firescales. Fjord is hit by magical death spit. Tsunami is forced to kill her own father. All Scarlet's IceWings prisoners are killed by NightWings. Then at the end, Blister kills Kestrel. Pretty violent if you ask me.

Did anyone remember that Fjord was hit by RainWing venom? it ruined his face and killed him at the same time, and I don't care if he was trying to kill Clay. I don't even like MudWings! They deserve to die! And Clay was almost going to kill him. Murder! And I really hate when Kestrel died, stabbed, cut throat, and then tossed off a cliff side? Blister is just evil, so is Scarlet (I'm not even saying so was queen) and I also recall Dune getting a snapped neck, which was violent. And that also means Scarlet's grip is over 630 pounds.-Jewel the RainWing

Pretty violent. Queen scarlet snapped Dunes neck and fjord then got hit by RainWing venom. Then osprey was dropped from the sky and landed on a rock and he had no wings so he couldn't fly up. Then peril killed horizon and tsunami killed gill. Hvitur also died and kestrel and crane! -sundew-is-the-best

3 The Lost Heir

Probably the most violent. Tied with Darkstalker. The way queen Coral killed Tortoise.Yanking her teeth out and smashing her head against the coral wall. And those poor little crushed unhatched dragonets. *Cries*

the orca statue killing all those harmless dragonets inside their eggs... Tsunami would have more sisters, young and old and more heirs. Orca is awful and Selfish and a conning. I am impressed and outraged

Coral killing toutise is way violent. (ripping out his teeth and banging his skull into a wall and make him fall into peices(literly)) And thiose poor baba dragonet cries.
Bloom of the flowerwings.

Tortoise just died because Shark distracted her and then the killed dragonet. I’m glad I read the graphic novel because if I was reading the book I would have cried and had sad dreams.😥 so sad!

Butterfly the Rainwing/Icewing (and princess to the Rainwing throne!)

4 The Dark Secret

3 Rainwing starved to death and died! Orchids seen in the lab was so sad! And viper got pushed into lava. And Morrowseer died in the volcano eruption! Pretty violent. - sundew-is-the-best

I can't believe viper died in this book. Pushed in to lava. RainWings pinned to the wall.

Dragons are starved, the fake DoD are forced to fight, and dragons die!

This probably had one of the darkest scenes which was Orchid’s scene in the lab

5 Talons of Power

Everything Darkstalker does Is violent. Awful.

There was a fight, and there was described blood, and when there's described blood there's violence and maybe injuries and other stuff that is satisfying and other stuff and blah blah blah blah blah-Jewel the RainWing

HE FIGHTS ANEMONE.

6 The Brightest  Night

I didn't like it when Clay got bitten. Or when Blister dies. Burned into ashes.

Sunny is creepy in this book, dragons die and almost die too!

I thought Clay would die! You seriously scared me Tui!

Butterfly the Rainwing/Icewing (and princess to the Rainwing throne!)

Blister turned into a pile of ashes (avenge Kestrel!) and Burn cracked all over, and also Blaze was injured badly

7 Escaping Peril

It wasn't violent, just Peril is constantly thinking about killing dragons. Well, I guess you can blame Scarlet for that.

Peril thinking about murder was kind of humorous to me, but also mildly disturbing

It has a few murders

There wasn't much killing, but perils thoughts were always thinking about setting things on fire 🔥

8 The Hidden Kingdom

I love this book! It has a bit of violence, however. It has dying starved dragons, dragons almost dying (kinkajou), dead dragons in the first few pages, and mentioned dead dragons. It's the 2nd best WoF book of all time though!
-Ravensong

Um, I'm not judging your opinion or anything, but Deathbringer did not kill those MudWing soldiers. He was in the IceWing kingdom on his assassination mission. Probably.

When Glory found the soldiers dead, it was definitely Deathbringer who killed them. Also, I don't like how the RainWings greeted her and her friends. Shooting darts at them? WHAT IN PYHRRIA IS THAT ABOUT?

9 Winter Turning

THEY FIND MORROWSEER'S SKELETON.

YES THEY FOUND MORROWSEERS SKELOTON AND MOON WAS THERE TO WITTNES IT AT LEAST SHE DID'NT KNOW MORROWSEER WAS HER FATHER AND THEY WERE TALKING OF... ZE MURDERES OF DARKSTALKER!

THEY DID?!?!?! TELL ME WHAT PAGE RIGHT NOW OR I WILL HAUNT YOUR HOUSE AND WATCH YOU IN YOUR SLEEP! NOW TELL ME PLEASE!

10 Moon Rising

This one deserves its place because there was a BOMB in a SCHOOL that WENT OFF and KILLED an INOCCENT STUDENT! (she kind of did deserve to die a little though)

Carnelian died! (I also feel sorry for this death, I feel sorry for a lot of deathes

No death? carnelian and bigtail died!-Silverlight the icewing.

I feel like Carnelian and Bigtail deserved so much better, a better life, a LONGER life. It’s so sad how they’re life was so short and how they’re never going to accomplish they’re dreams. So sad 😭!

Butterfly the Rainwing/Icewing (and princess to the Rainwing throne!)
