Things That Should Be Considered Mental Illnesses
The Top Ten
1 Sadism
Sadism is the disposition to gain pleasure from causing pain, suffering, or humiliation to others.
2 Stalking behaviours
Stalking is a pattern of repeated and unwanted attention, harassment, and contact directed at someone, which would lead any aware or sane individual to be afraid. The purpose is all about power and control, leading some to think that people who engage in this action are delusional.
3 Necrophilia
4 Porn addiction
Addiction to pornography (sexually explicit media depicting graphic nudity and sexual acts) and masturbation (self-touching) can lead to unrealistic and unhealthy views about sex, legal and financial issues, poor work performance, sexist views of women as objects, and low self-esteem as a result of comparing oneself to people in adult content.
It can also cause relationship problems, promiscuous behavior, distorted views on love and intimacy, depression, suicidal thoughts, sleeping disorders, and sexual dysfunction, such as problems with erections and low libido. It is driven by dopamine, which is the same brain chemical responsible for addiction to sex, drugs, alcohol, and gambling.
This is because it makes you feel pleasure that leads to repeated use, yet afterwards, feelings of guilt, shame, and disgust can result from being offended by the same material. This can keep one trapped, making it too overwhelming for one person to endure.

5 Sadomasochism
Sadomasochism is a paraphilia that originates when inappropriate sexual fantasies are forbidden and becomes stronger when suppressed. It involves getting aroused by others being humiliated and degraded as it acts out asserted dominance and suppression, similarly to perversion and bestiality.
6 Gambling addiction
Gambling can have serious negative consequences for many individuals. It can lead to various issues such as strained relationships with family, addiction, depression, and even thoughts of suicide. It is not recommended for individuals who are not mature or responsible with their spending on bets and major exchanges.
It's important to prioritize one's well-being and seek healthier forms of entertainment and activities. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling-related issues, it's important to seek help and support.

The fact that some people glorify this kind of behavior is just disgusting.
7 Sexism and misogyny
Misogyny is sexism or discrimination against women and often all females. This may include treating women as submissive, helpless, annoying, or as objects to be used by men for their sexual pleasure, beyond the normal limits of healthy boundaries and self-respect.
People with this ideology are often toxic because they believe that anyone who expresses their femininity cannot escape abusive relationships and mistreatment, drive their cars, go outside by themselves, or do full-time work.

8 Voyeurism
Voyeurism is the interest or action of watching someone undressed or having sexual intercourse.
Some of these items I think are pretty questionable for example I would have thought possibly the majority of people have been tempted to do this at some point even though they never have. Likewise addictions can happen to anyone if they aren't careful though I guess you could say that these things ruined their mental health.
9 Alcoholism
Alcoholism is when someone loses control over the amount of alcohol they consume, which can lead to intoxication. This can lead to disorder at home and on the street. It affects the way you function, causes deep dissatisfaction with your daily life, and leads to an abnormal or unsafe state that threatens to become more extreme.
Most of the time, people develop fixations on alcohol to avoid responsibility and reality, which guides many to reach their lowest mental, physical, and emotional state.

10 Exhibitionism
Exhibitionism involves a strong desire to expose one's genitals to stimulate sexual arousal or to be observed by others during sexual activity. Exhibitionism disorder involves acting out exhibitionist urges or fantasies and the frustration or inability to act on these urges or fantasies.
The Contenders
11 Sex addiction
Sex addiction, also known as hypersexuality, occurs when a person has extreme difficulty controlling their urges, such as having multiple sexual partners, becoming obsessed with pornography, masturbating multiple times a day, or engaging in other acts that are often considered immoral.
It is usually caused by childhood sexual abuse, the use of alcohol or drugs such as cocaine or meth, or traumatic brain injuries.
