Top 10 Reasons to Not Commit Suicide

There have been countless numbers of suicides going on in the past few years so I've decided to share my thoughts on why you should not kill yourself. Don't even try to kill yourself. It really is not worth it. Trust me.

Anyone considering suicide, remember, you're not alone. Confidential help is available.

In the U.S. you can contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for free by phone at 1-800-273-8255 or by online chat at suicidepreventionlifeline.org/chat/. The Top Ten
1 You only have one life

Unless you believe in rebirth, you can be reborn after you die. If you get lucky, you'll get the opportunity to start your own life all over again.

But yes, suicide is quite risky.

Precisely. There's always a vast selection of opportunities, and always something to live for.

Even if you go to heaven, you will still see what's in store on earth.

Life is the most precious thing you can grasp, don't let go of it.

2 People will think you deserved to die because you killed yourself

I've seen a lot of this on YouTube.

3 Suicide does not take away the pain, it gives it to someone else

I agree with this option. I've recently watched a very sad video about a young girl crying because her dad committed suicide for some reason.

Your friends and family will end up grieving for you, and the memory will stick with them for their whole life. Don't cause them the pain.

I agree. Other people will cry and even some may die just because of your death, and you, you would still have that pain in hell.

This is very true! Committing suicide is wrong, and it will transfer your pain onto your family and friends.

4 Somebody might need you

Even if you don't know it, you could be making someone's life a whole lot better, brightening their day just by being there. And even if it's not happening now, it may happen later in life. But only if you stick around to see it happen.

5 You'll miss out on all the great, positive things about life

Yes, it's true. I have so much to live for. I want to become a YouTuber, travel around the world, adopt a puppy, and do so many things that other people do. I will never commit suicide, EVER!

Most people commit suicide because they get bullied in school. Getting bullied in school won't affect you that much in the future.

There is always something good about life that you shouldn't miss it.

Who knows? Maybe tomorrow, you'll be the wealthiest person alive!

6 It's a permanent solution to a temporary problem

It may not be temporary, but even if you do die, no one can reverse that, which is a scary and sad thought.

You're right though.

7 You will go to hell

Hell is a real place. Do not commit suicide. Instead, give your life to Jesus Christ. Serve Him. Repent of sins. Read a KJV Bible.

I'm still disappointed about this reason since yesterday when watching What Dreams May Come. You would go to hell if you commit suicide, even if you are a good person. But what would you do when your parents die or when a school shooting killed all of your friends? I don't know? Now I am worried about horrible life or kill yourself to go to hell. It's too rough to decide and I can't meet my selected relatives and friends who commit suicide before I die. And I can't meet the celebrities I like such as Kurt Cobain. Even Robin Williams, who starred in the movie, killed himself in 2014.

No one wants to go to hell, and also, God doesn't want that for you.

Yes, in religions, this can be very true.

8 It will affect the lives of others

If you kill yourself, then the effect is that everyone else will have to go through the pain. If you kill yourself, what do you think will happen after you die? Don't kill yourself no matter what happens in your life. I don't care what you believe in because it doesn't matter if you commit suicide. Please, just think before you act. Since I'm a Christian, which doesn't mean you have to be, I believe there is a hell. You will go to hell if you do not give you life to Jesus and believe that he died on the cross for your sins. Please think about this.

Everything you do will!

9 You're never going to get to do what you've always wanted to do

I have so many things I want to do in life, and if I ended my life, I wouldn't get to.

10 You will break your parents' hearts

I don't want to commit suicide because people will be sad, and I won't be able to do anything about it. People do care about you, and I know that positive remarks don't fix depression, but I just want to say that people do love you no matter who you are.

Do you really want to do that... ?

The Contenders
11 You won't go to heaven

The biggest reason there isn't 55 grains of lead and copper lodged in my head.

12 People will miss you

True. If you kill yourself, you're only hurting yourself and the ones that love you and care for you. So very true.

It may not always feel like it, but there is someone who cares about you. Trust me.

The only reason I don't do it is because I don't want people to be sad.

13 Somebody will always love you

If you don't know who loves you, then you haven't met them yet.

14 The bad people will win

If you hate me you listen to me:

I am not a bad guy! You turned me into this I am a nice person! I've chilled out man, I'm cool now, I've evolved, but you you're still the same! Still full of audacity, and that's why you don't deserve to have the joy of me dying!

It's the only thing that keeps me hanging on. I don't want the bad people say: good riddance. Everybody hold on, we can make it.

Now, why would you want to give them that kind of satisfaction?

15 You're not the only one who has a difficult or depressing life

Many people feel suicidal and they could feel worse than you, like you aren't the only one feeling like that. People don't have to feel offended by this.

Yeah, no man is an island.

16 Suicide is not always effective

Sometimes, you don't succeed in killing yourself. Rather, you end up seriously injuring yourself instead.

If you fail to commit suicide, you might end up with disabilities or brain damage.

18 The good in the world will always outweigh the bad, even if it seems like the opposite
19 It's not worth it

For a while, I was suicidal. But then I thought to myself, "It's not worth it." No matter what, there is one person who loves you in the world. I can assure you of it. Even if you feel alone.

20 They were born for a reason

God did not just randomly create you.

21 Everybody matters

All life is sacred.

22 Your life is valuable

You were born for a reason. People say, "I was born to die," but that's not true. We all have the potential to make a difference and leave our mark on the world. There is real, true value in simply living. Passing the burden of pain onto others because you want life to end is selfish. Get up, get a life. People need you, whether you realize it or not.

You should exercise caution when making decisions regarding your life because it is very valuable.

23 Everyone is special In their own ways, so are you
24 You're never get to grow up

Because I am still young and have a ways to go, I don't want to pass away before I get to see my future self.

True unless you are 60.
