Top Ten Metal Songs Not Released as Singles

Lots (if not most) great and popular Metal songs were released as Singles and that makes sense, though sometimes songs chosen to be released as singles are not good. And here are some songs that were not released as singles that are great. The songs here may be very popular or not very well known.

The Top Ten

1 Heaven and Hell - Black Sabbath

Dio said that this was the best song that he ever recorded. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

2 Phantom of the Opera - Iron Maiden

Often considered as the Best song with Paul on vocals and I agree.Everything about this song is just perfect (some may hate the production but I am ok with it).Probably the song that best represents the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) movement. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

3 Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Iron Maiden

I consider this to be better than Phantom of the Opera but I put it Phantom at #1 because this song gets lots of attention (and it deserves it) while Phantom of the Opera is more underrated (not a underrated song but underrated compared to this one). Also I didn't want to put two songs by the same band at the top,so I put it Heaven and Hell at #2. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

4 Bloodstone - Judas Priest

It's a great song from start to finish, but the Intro is the best thing about it.It feels so happy and gives a great positive energy more than some power metal songs. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

5 Angel of Death - Angel Witch

You will like it since when you will hear that amazing opening riff. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

6 South of Heaven - Slayer

Slayer would have been better if they did more slower songs like this. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

7 Eagle Fly Free - Helloween
8 Phantom Lord - Metallica

Could be the most underrated song on KEA. - Userguy44

My favorite from Kill 'Em All,probably the best song for Headbanging Metallica ever wrote. - HEAVYMETALTHUNDER12345

9 Welcome To Hell - Venom
10 Stand Up and Shout - Dio

The Contenders

11 Burn It Down - Skillet

Honestly my favorite song from this band, a back of the album filler in their latest, and honestly generally weak release

I don’t think this is a metal song or am I wrong? - Userguy44
