Top 10 Metal Songs with the Best Outros
This is a pretty accurate top 3 in my opinion.
1. Floods- so melodic and powerful, I once heared the extended version of it, it was so beautiful goddamnit.
2. Raining Blood- really punchy slayer- type ending where they have all the fast instruments and the whacky solos but what really makes it powerful is the sudden stop and the lightning strike type sound.
3. Fade To Black- I like the solo so of course. Not their best one but one of the best of theirs, for sure.
Always number 01 no matter what just listen to it you'll cry
You Can Loop This Intro And It Will Never Get Old
It's not a guitar outro, it's something different. Give a listen to what Hansi Kursch did vocally here - his Gregorian chanting is amazing (4:15). Knowing his heavier songs, you won't believe he has such an angelic voice, too. He did all vocal harmonies, no other singers. Pure eargasm.
This one is damn good - Mike Mangini and Jeff Waters at their best (6:50-8:00).
This list is a joke. Deliverance easily beats anything on this list. The drumming is too good here.
Better than the rest! Best Real Metal Outro ever! The last 3 Minutes are a masterpiece!
This outro isn't standard at all but these are two perfect minutes from the masters of modern epicness.
It's not the expected typical guitar outro - this is a different idea and I like it. Music sounds impressive. One of the best Purple songs.
From the "now wait a minute man! " line onwards, this song has some of the best rock/metal songwriting ever.
