Top 10 Most Racist U.S. Presidents

The Top Ten
1 Andrew Jackson Andrew Jackson was an American statesman who served as the seventh President of the United States from 1829 to 1837 . He was born near the end of the colonial era, somewhere near the then-unmarked border between North and South Carolina, into a recently immigrated Scots-Irish farming family of relatively more.

To all the people calling Andrew Jackson a racist and a terrorist and all these other names. Just remember Van Buren amplified and quicked the effect of the Indian Removal Act. Andrew Jackson simply signed the law that Indians must move West by a certain year if they do not obey state law. It's not like he said they couldn't stay. Also remember there were Natives that caused damage to settlers. America was defending its citizens. Another thing you must remember is the Native chiefs agreed to move. It's not like he forced the whole process. Was the whole process moral? No, but you must remember hindsight is 20/20 and no one is perfect. Also are you just gonna forget the good things Jackson did? You people have never studied history it seems.

History teachers have failed Jackson. Yes, I have to admit he was slightly racist. But he gave Native Americans self-rule, and he didn't actually force them to move west as long as they obeyed state law. A lot of them were also hostile toward Americans, so moving the ones that did not want to abide by the law was to protect the American people. Jackson is one of my favorite presidents. He always put America first and would never let anyone push him around.

Andrew Jackson is the most racist president in US history. He really does not deserve to be in a twenty dollar bill because the reality of what he did back in the day was truly awful. The Trail of Tears became a foundation of a racist image favoured by the democrats. Thousands if not Millions of Native Americans were forced out of their land and had to walk non stop interestate. Most of them died on the way due to starvation. But he is just a racist.

Jackson was definitely a racist! I've never understood why he's remained on the twenty dollar bill! America and Americans are a racist people, more so than any other nation and it not evolved until it admits to its terrorism. The United States of America will not and can not go forward until it has confessed it sins against "people of color"! Beginning with the Native Americans and ending with Muslims!

2 Donald Trump Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessman, television personality, politician, and the 45th President of the United States. Born and raised in Queens, New York City, Trump received an economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968. In 1971, more.

He's not racist but he is xenophobic & a nationalist. There is a difference

He doesn't like immigrants but he doesn't mind peoples' races, he is fine with anyone with the same views as he, he doesn't like democrats & many democrats tend to be people of "color" which he is at odds at. He thinks America is the best country, he doesn't like Mexicans or Chinese from Mexico & China but he is fine with Asian Americans or Hispanic Americans

Number 1. He is mentally 2 years old, he thinks ALL muslims are ISIS but they're not all, he hates Mexicans they helped build the US, He is sexist, his supporters are stupid, he know nothing about politics, He said he would bang his daughter if she wasn't his daughter, He works with our crazy Vice President (Mike Pence), He makes stupid ideas, He wants to make women have unfair rights, He thinks anyone Mexican even U.S Mexicans should be deported, He is thinking any immigrant cannot get a U.S citizenship.

Sure, Mexico has a Drug War to deal with. But this Racist does not care. He keeps Mexicans out of the United States. At least some. Still though, Not a cool move. If they stay in Mexico, It is likely that they will die because of Drug Cartels. But USA is like this without noticing it., "Let them die, They deserve it" There are immigrants of Mexico coming to the United States to stay safe. Why is he on Number 7? He should be on Number 1.

It's elementary that "45" is racist (I refuse to say his name). You know a tree by the fruit it bears and he has been bearing bad fruit all of his life, racism, lying, cheating workers, stealing, cheating on wife's, blasphemy...

3 Barack Obama Barack Hussein Obama II served as the 44th president of the United States of America. He was elected in 2008 after serving in the Senate from 2005-08, beating John McCain and becoming the first African-American to be elected President of the United States. He was elected again in 2012, beating Mitt more.

People like to try and forget it, but BLM got their start under Obama, and race relations took a sharp downward spiral after he took power, with his utterly caustic attitude towards normal white America. This culminated in not one, not two, but three years and counting of seasonal race riots in America for the first time in over a decade. Speaking of sharp things, his political ally, Al Sharpton, has built a lifelong career of race baiting grifting, leveraging racial hatred to bully local politicians and businessmen into concessions, and he ascended high within Obama's inner circle. Raised by rich white idiots, Obama is an excellent flag bearer of modern racial hatred and self loathing against whites in America.

To all the ones who think he is not. All you have to do is look at the racism of before his presidency, and after. You can clearly see a difference. After 9-11 happened, the country became closer together then ever. Now it is blown apart, and split into several different groups. A person does not have to say anything about race to be a racist. They can do it through actions too. Just like they say 'Actions Speak Louder Than Words', and his actions speak for 8 years. He has a lot of deep hatred, if you actually read about him, or read anything he has written. He was raised by his grandparents, who were white and wealthy, yet he wants to make reference to white privilege and call out the same type of people he was raised by, that is ungrateful. If he would not have been raised the way he was, he would not have been president. His whole life would have been different. I think he should be grateful for what he has, and the people who helped him along the way. Kinda funny he makes into the ...more

President Obama is NOT a racist and has done nothing racist as president. He has the courage to face the fact that the United States is burdened with a history and a legacy of overt and covert racism. He is brave enough to admit we have at different time institutionalized racism (slavery, Jim Crow, racial stereotyping) and inherited a systemic defacto racism that is hurting the country. He has the guts to try to correct that. What is racist is the denial his opponents revel in when they identify positive efforts toward corrections as racism. Denial is the firewall of the coward.

Why is he on here? He's black himself and though I know some people people are racist against their own race like that girl who was on dr phil, He is not one of them. Everyone who thinks he's racist is obviously a trump supporter he is one of the best presidents

4 Woodrow Wilson Thomas Woodrow Wilson was an American politician and academic who served as the 28th President of the United States from 1913 to 1921. Born in Staunton, Virginia, he spent his early years in Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina.

he is one of the fathers of socialism that separated Americans by color, religion and financial status. His intent as Obama was to destroy America and make her a socialist nation.

Probably number 2 on the list. Segregated the military and the federal government. Fought women's right to vote.

Probably the most racist President who was actually a college president. So much for education.

He was a member Of the KKK; but so were other presidents.

5 Andrew Johnson Andrew Johnson was the 17th President of the United States, serving from 1865 to 1869. Johnson became president as he was vice president at the time of the assassination of [Abraham Lincoln].

The worst president ever! We wouldn't have needed a civil rights movement if it weren't for this jack*ss. He undid everything Lincoln had tried to do for African Americans. I can't believe he was Lincoln's vice president!

You all thought Donald Trump was racist? Look at THIS guy who tried to kick people out of his land just because of the color of their skin. Now tell me what/who's more Racist?

He was sympathetic towards White Southerners, and he tried to deny every amendment that was designed to give equality for the recently liberated slaves.

Just do a little research, behind Trump he's clearly the worst.

6 John Tyler John Tyler was the tenth President of the United States. He was also, briefly, the tenth Vice President, elected to that office on the 1840 Whig ticket with William Henry Harrison.

Basically any president before Abe Lincoln was racist and even after him most were still racist. Donald Trump shouldn't be so high on this list. We are living in a completely different time period now. Study your history, libs.

It is truly sad that some people think that a the man who betrayed the country and joined the Confederacy is less racist than the self-proclaimed "least racist person on Earth."

I see he owned a black slave.

7 Warren G Harding

Lower than Lincoln? Why? Lincoln was the opposite of racist. He freed the slaves. This guy was apart of the KKK.

He should be higher. I saw it on the category about white supremacists on Wikipedia.

How is he not number 1? He was apart of the KKK for crying out loud. He makes Andrew Jackson look like a SJW.

8 Richard Nixon Richard Milhous Nixon was the 37th President of the United States from 1969 until his resignation in 1974, the only president to resign from office. He had previously served as the 36th Vice President of the United States from 1953 to 1961, and prior to that as a U.S. Representative and also Senator more.

I don't know why old tricky dick is on here. Being the fact that during Nixons time as President who enforced Federal Court orders on forced school integration in the South in 1969-70, and enforced forced busing of White kids to Black schools to achieve "racial diversity" in schools. He also enforced the first major Affirmative Action programs in 1970 when he forced the Pennsylvania White Construction Workers Trade Union to admit Black members by a certain time table. Now it is true that Nixon was racist in his personal life but that's it.

This guy was overthrown so bad that he resigned from his job and left us in large debt. He was also a racist in some ways but he was just a bad president.

He was caught on tape saying abortion is wrong except if it's interracial.

Nixon had used ethnic slurs, such as the N-word and the K-word (Jews).

9 James Buchanan James Buchanan, Jr. was the 15th President of the United States, serving immediately prior to the American Civil War.

"Slavery is an issue of little practical importance"
- President Buchanan, a few years before the Civil War.

How is James Buchanan down here?

He should be in the top ten.

10 George Washington George Washington was the first President of the United States, the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.

While George Washington did own slaves, he treated them benevolently and set them free in his will.

All of the first several presidents (except Adams and Quincy Adams) owned slaves.

What is Washington doing here?!?!?!

Give the man credit, he was from 1776!

The Contenders
11 Zachary Taylor Zachary Taylor was the 12th President of the United States, serving from March 1849 until his death in July 1850. Before his presidency, Taylor was a career officer in the United States Army, rising to the rank of major general.

"Whit people are"
That's also racist. Just because most white people are racist, all of us whites are?

Whit people are

12 William Howard Taft William Howard Taft served as the 27th President of the United States and as the tenth Chief Justice of the United States, the only person to have held both offices.

He announced in his inaugural speech that he would not appoint blacks to federal Posts as Republicans before him had and he did not appoint any. He appointed ex-Confederate soldiers to the Supreme Court and began the wave of Blacks turning away from the Republican party toward the Democrats. He sent troops to Cuba to help during the Negro rebellion during which thousands of blacks were slaughtered. He was the most racist President who knew and admitted he was racist.

He use to yell at blacks and call them a sham.

13 Franklin Pierce Franklin Pierce was the 14th President of the United States. Pierce was a northern Democrat who saw the abolitionist movement as a fundamental threat to the unity of the nation.
14 Grover Cleveland Stephen Grover Cleveland was an American politician and lawyer who was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States, the only president in American history to serve two non-consecutive terms in office.
15 George W. Bush George Walker Bush is an American politician and businessman who was born in July 6, 1946. He served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009 and 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. He is the eldest son of Barbara and George H. W.

"George Bush doesn't care about Black people." Says Kayne West. While two faced Mike Myers acts so nice on front of people when he is a BASTARD in real life.

This man doesn't care about black people! Have you seen how he handled that hurricane back in 2005? Unbelievable. Bush should be in the top 10 instead of Obama. I'm not saying Obama is great, but still.

George W. Bush got a problem with black people and doesn't care about them at all. Plus, he is the most immature United States president that has ever been elected.

I'm not a fan of him but I don't think he's racist.

16 Franklin D Roosevelt Franklin Delano Roosevelt, commonly known as FDR, was an American statesman and political leader who served as the 32nd President of the United States from 1933 to 1945. A Democrat, he won a record four presidential elections and dominated his party for many years as a central figure in world events more.

He locked up a lot Japanese-Americans during WW II and there wasn't a single incident of sabatoge by Japanese-Americans during that time! Why didn't gather up Italians or German-Americans and place them in internment camps? I would say, Franklin D. Roosevelt was a racist!

17 Joe Biden Joseph Robinette "Joe" Biden, Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician who is the 46th President of the United States. He was the 47th Vice President of the United States, jointly elected twice with President Barack Obama, and in office from 2009 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, more.

Supported segregation in schools, called black kids roaches, called people of color jungle animals, opposed bussing, called black people n-words, and said he wants to put black people back in chains. "Yeah, Trump is totally the racist one!"

18 Ronald Reagan Ronald Wilson Reagan (1911-2004) was an American politician and actor who was 40th President of the United States from 1981 to 1989 . Prior to his presidency, he was the 33rd Governor of California from 1967 to 1975, following a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader until his death in 2004

Reagan supported the Apartheid Government in South Africa, that along proves he is a racist president. Even in an audio that recently surfaced with a conversation involving him and Nixon which he said 'Monkey' by referring to African Americans makes him a total racist buffoon. He is outright a race divider

He let guerillas ship tonnes of cocaine into inner cities. Then, he mass incarcerated black people with crack-cocaine ratio laws.

Known that he made racist comments on the Whitehouse lawn when he was still a California Senator.

Ummm, how is he on the list? Even liberals liked him and no one thought he was racist.

19 Lyndon Johnson Lyndon Baines Johnson, often referred to as LBJ, was the 36th President of the United States from 1963 to 1969, assuming the office after serving as the 37th Vice President of the United States under President John F. Kennedy. He helped many Americans with the Civil Rights Act, although many Americans more.

Johnson is your typical liberal Democrat... an actual racist, he just lived in a day when you could get away with showing it.

"I'll have those n******s voting Democratic for 200 years." (After pushing for civil rights legislation.)

"These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference."

Surprised he's so low. Yes, policy-wise he did things for Civil Rights, but he also used the N-word frequently, and I think that's more indicative of the man.

He used the "N" word so many times, yet he supported the Civil Rights Act...

Johnson should be in the top 3, he was one of the racist ones we've ever had.

20 Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson was an American Founding Father who was principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and served as the 3rd President of the United States from 1801-1809. He was born on April 13, 1743, and died on July 4, 1826, on the same day 2nd United States President John Adams died.

Ok. He wasn't that racist. I mean sure he thought that African-Americans were inferior, but that was common among Southerners for his time. Merely being a hypocrite isn't enough for him to become the most racist president.

Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence; proclaiming that all men (white) are created equal. Jefferson, a student of Thomas Locke, who believed that man's natural state is to be free - Jefferson who owed lots, and lots of slaves; Jefferson who predicted that the country would come to blows over slavery; Jefferson the hypocrite. Jefferson who liked (loved) black women; Jefferson who father numerous children by black slave women.

Don't we all hate hypocrites.

21 Dwight D. Eisenhower Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower was an American politician and general who served as the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe.

No president is perfect anon... At least he didn't (at least openly) support the KKK, without him, we wouldn't have our Interstate system.

How about his Operation Wetback? Now that's racist!

22 Harry S Truman Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President of the United States, an American politician of the Democratic Party.

Dropping the atomic bomb on Japan wasn't racism by the way.

Dropping the atomic bomb is not racist, like Cobalt said, but he was part of the KKK

23 Abraham Lincoln Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. Lincoln led the United States in its bloodiest war and its greatest moral, constitutional, and political crisis. Abraham Lincoln was born in Feb. 12, 1809, in Hardin County, Kentucky. more.

A butthurt KKK put this here because he freed the slaves. Nope. Lincoln was amazing for doing that. Racist idiots.

Although he did not believe in blacks and whites having equal rights, he still shouldn't be at #20. Or, even on this list.

Know your facts guys, Lincoln was pressured into freeing slaves. He in no way wanted blacks to have equal rights as whites

Revisionist history at work. George Orwell would be so proud.

24 William Henry Harrison William Henry Harrison was an American statesman who served as the 9th President of the United States from March 4, 1841 until his death on April 4, 1841. The cause of death of William Henry Harrison was pneumonia, after a cold and wet inauguration.
25 James K. Polk James Knox Polk was the 11th president of the United States, serving from 1845 to 1849. He previously was Speaker of the House of Representatives and governor of Tennessee.

Probably the most racist President we've ever had! He sure did everything he could to start a war with Mexico as a pretense to steal their land! Although, it is not 1848, the same treachery continues today in the Southwest. Many heirs to Spanish land grants are still fighting to regain their rights to "common lands" given to them by the Spanish crown before the Mexican American War.
