Most Underrated Movies Based on True Stories

Hollywood often gets ideas for movies from history. Half the time, said true story becomes a legendary movie. The other half are often good movies deemed to be crap. These are the most underrated movies based on true stories. When I made this, I was pretty sure 7-10 weren't underrated but I ran out of ideas.
The Top Ten
1 Pawn Sacrifice

I imagine that this is kind of a middle ground between Peter Parker and real life Tobes. I'm betting 10 bucks and a boring book that they casted Tobey because Fischer's analysis of the chess board was made to be similar to Peter's spider sense. (I know that's not exactly a great bargain, but I have nothing better to bet on.)

You may be wondering "What is Pawn Sacrifice?" To answer your question, it's basically Rocky IV on a chessboard. Bobby Fischer (the dude Tobey Maguire played) is a chess genius who challenges Russia, as they were kind of the chess lords.

Might actually watch that film.

I adore this movie

2 Green Book

A more silly true story, Green Book dances around social issues. Namely white supremacy.

3 Chappaquidick

Shame this one isn't as well-known, it's a great story well told.

Convoluted and political, but good.

4 Ford v

Crappy ending, but otherwise great.

5 McFarland USA

Funny, good ending, serious and just plain good. I strongly recommend it.

6 Million Dollar Arm

I kind of forgot what this was like. Basically the McFarland USA of baseball, I think

7 Sully

The details are hazy, but this was a very heroic story and people thought it was another 9/11. Not great, but good nonetheless.

8 Raging Bull

Not crazy about De Niro but it's good enough.

9 Miracle on Ice

Same gist as Million Dollar Arm and McFarland USA, although I doubt it's underrated

Didn't know this was a Disney Movie.

10 Escape From Alcatraz

It's a fantastic movie based on the real life escape attempt of three inmates from Alcatraz. To this day, people don't know if they survived or not.

Great prison film with great direction that not many people talk about, and Don Siegel deserves more credit.

The Contenders
11 Hidden Figures

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but ain't this a horror movie?
