But however, there is a sad truth that this country struggles with immense poverty in many areas. Almost half of the population defecates/poops in public because they are too poorly educated to know how to use a toilet, and many also litter and spit on the streets as they are unaware of the risks of plague and disease. This is also prevalent in other neighbouring countries near India such as Pakistan and Bangladesh, who also struggle with high amounts of poverty and poor education.
I believe that India is not dirty but actually, Indian people are dirty. Cities like Delhi, Varanasi, Kolkata are like dump yards where you can't even breathe with ease and it is because of careless Indians living there. They are dirty, careless, lazy and superstitious. Indians follow a simple rule - "We are dirty, Our surroundings should also be dirty". Indians are like pigs living in garbage heaps. They don't bathe regularly, throw garbage wherever they like. For Indians their entire country is a dump yard. No body takes responsibility for their personal sanitation. They are reproducing like rats and exploiting nature for earning more. India is like a hell on the earth which will go worse in future.
The dirtiest country in the world very poor and on poverty has millions of beggars who poop on the road. They have no toilet there. Electricity in city places goes off at certain times of the day. No electricity at all in rural places. They live with animals like animals. Animals like cows, goats and sheeps walk around freely on the roads. Street thugs with daggers would chop off a man's head based on their religion or if someone insulted their leader (usually someone they idolize like a movie star). Then there's corruption in the top ranks. And poverty in every part of the country. Wouldn't say the dirtiest because there are worse countries in Africa.
I am Indian and I agree this is the filthiest country on the planet. cows, dog other animals roaming on the streets going everywhere people go on the street railways tracks in open in general sewers are overflowing open drainage system, pigs, garbage air population this is complete catastrophe people calling beautiful are either ignorant patriots who don't want to acknowledge the problem or haven't seen the real side politicians are really corrupt they only care to bag money in no measure is taken! I'm glad Google put it on number 1 at least somewhere it's no. 1!

My parents are from Pakistan and honestly every time I visit. All you see if chickens and cows crossing the road or some dead goat on the floor with trash everywhere like come on people littering is bad... smh... not to mention they think it’s normal to toss trash on the street and then after that they burn the trash which is worse cause it stinks...

I'm a Filipino. I agree, in all of the words you trashed to us. But here's my opinion, Philippines is a country with 7,641 islands overall. So in short, our country is far away and separated from each other so we don't have cooperation with the people living here. There were trash on some places but do not include all. You should be ashamed in places which doesn't even have an island but not concerned in their dirty country.
Philippines is pretty much a tidy place. But besides if you go to YOUR province then it will be dirty. The country is part tidy and part dirty at the same time. Just look at Tondo and other dirty parts of the Manila neighborhood. That's just plain disappointing to see such a smelly traffics and some trash on the concrete ground.

Dirtiest and smelliest rivers at the cities; the sewers are dejected at the beaches. At Carnival the country turns a giant trash bin. People are always trying to take advantage at the situations, so if there are rules of any kind they gladly disregard it, including the correct disposal of trash.

I’ve been here (Bali and Lombok) and I saw locals leaving plastic bags (of that meat balls with sauce that they eat) and glass bottles (beers and even petrol) at the beach. Houses, roads, empty lands, all surrounded by rubish. The last event in Lombok at Segar beach (04/02/2018) left thousands of plastic small things around the area (I have photos) and those ones were all locals. They are dirty, they don't care about their own land and blame tourists. So sad! I don't wanna come back again!
I visited Jakarta. The city square looks good but, the urban area very dirty. I also went to Semarang. The village looks clean. And Surabaya, I think Surabaya is the cleanest city. Surabaya had good sidewalk better than Jakarta
When I went to Batam I look out of the bus window and its like the Democratic Republic Of The Congo burnt tree's and a lot of sand when I got to the hotel I accidentally drank the tap water in the bath and I got Nausea, Dizziness and Fever.
