Top Ten Worst Nintendo Franchises
This list is a list of the top ten worst Nintendo Franchises. I see so many list about the best, now it's time for the worst. I would like it if you could add more bad ones, I ran out, since Nintendo has very high standards anyways.I can agree, but Mario has okay music. Nintendo kept Mario the way it is. It sounds good, but it's very boring and repetitive. He barely has any new villains - oh wait, none at all. The plot is always the same, even in the Galaxy games, though they try to hide it. It's also noticeable that they focus more on Mario rather than their other franchises. Where is Star Fox or Metroid? What happened to EarthBound? Yet, we still get more Mario... Sighs
Mario's got a lot of good things going for it, and it's pretty fun, but it is boring, repetitive, and cheap. There's no real action in most of them since you just jump on enemies. The music isn't good, and the boss battles are adequate at best. It's overrated. Yes, I know it is fun and great, but on the other hand, it's boring and repetitive. I'm focusing on the bad side here.
There are four games. I haven't played all of them, but in the one I did play, I accidentally selected that I was poor, and I had to work for weeks just to get some bells. What kind of currency is that?! Also, the fact that making your house slightly bigger costs more than the house itself is dumb. Tom Nook is a penny-pincher. It took forever to load, and the fact that you couldn't do exactly what you wanted is cheap, considering this is supposed to be a simulation of life, right?!
The design is terrible, and the fans are annoying.
I tried a couple of the games and can honestly say that I hated them. Maybe I'm just missing something, but I hate this franchise.
Buy Pokémon X/Y instead. It's much more fun, and you don't have to play as a girly girl like in Yo-Kai. Plus, Pokémon are way cuter and have advertisements that aren't completely cringe-worthy.
I got this game last year, but a few days later, I took it back. It was boring as snit. It's basically Pokémon without the fun.
I don't know if Yo-Kai Watch is a Nintendo franchise or not, but it isn't good. It feels like a ripoff of Pokémon.
I love dogs, and I can spend hours looking at funny and cute pictures of them. But as a game, Nintendogs is unoriginal and boring. Getting money from walking your dog? Getting random presents along the way? PUH-LEEZE. Boring.
I never get the plot, and the idea is sort of weird and horrible. I hate it when people on the bus start going BWAHHH! into my ear.
I got it for the Wii! It sucked! You can't even move in first-person! Stupid design! Boring cutscenes. I sold it and got Zelda instead!
So boring! It just isn't the game for me. I tried to get into it, but just couldn't. I ended up selling my copy of Metroid Prime and getting TLOZ: The Wind Waker instead. I liked The Wind Waker a lot better!
I can't even get past the first screen of the first game!
It's good. Not great, but good in my opinion. There are some questionable choices, such as having "talk" and "check" be two separate buttons, but it is a good game. 8/10 is my rating.
It brings shame to the Nintendo name.
I remember as a kid, my sister always wanted to play this game with me, but I hated it because it was so boring.
Let's see what has been criticized about that franchise in recent years:
1. Too many characters in Smash Bros.
2. Censorship/localization in the US.
3. Tokyo Mirage Sessions wasn't the Shin Megami Tensei/FE crossover we hoped for.
4. FE Warriors focused primarily on Shadow Dragon, Awakening, and Fates.
5. FE Heroes was a cash grab.
6. Forced fanservice.
7. Plots lack substance.
8. The gameplay quality is inconsistent.
Any questions?
I am a huge Smash Bros. fan, but I hate the number of Fire Emblem characters in Ultimate. What about Kirby characters? Or Donkey Kong or Metroid?
Most of these games are just boring. Rabbids gets a crossover adventure with Mario on the Switch, but Sonic gets this with Mario?
This was disappointing. Mario and Sonic should have been on an epic adventure, fighting against Bowser and Eggman or something like that. But no, we get boring Olympics... (Yes, I've played this before, and I hated it.)
