Greatest Nintendo 3DS Games
So I played this game back in 2011 when it first released. I played it almost every day as a matter of fact and really enjoyed it too. Unfortunately, one night while playing I pressed a sequence of buttons while racing that magically teleported me inside the game. I was literally inside of the game! I could race inside of the game as well and man Mario is a jerk. Of course I'm now stuck inside the game and nobody knows what happened to me so there's that. There's also know way for me to get out too so HELP ME. My address is 1600 Koopa Cape Falls, Mario Land, Mushroom Kingdom.
No. This doesn't deserve to be at number one. Sure, I played MK7 and it was an enjoyable experience, but it's somehow the second best selling game for the 3ds? I feel the games are much more fun with motion control, and the ability to play with friends without them owning the same console. Uprising, X and Y, 3D Land and Link Between Worlds are more original and engaging in my opinion. Go play them, then I'll consider you a proper Nintendo fan.
Mario Kart 7 gets 5/10 stars. SHUT UP PEACH & DAISY!
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D gets 8/10 stars.
Super Mario 3D Land gets 7/10 stars.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf gets 3/10 stars. Best Animal Crossing by far.
Kid Icarus: Uprising gets 7/10 stars.
Pokemon Y gets 4/10 stars.
Fire Emblem: Awakening gets 7/10 stars.
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS gets 10/10 stars.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds gets 4/10 stars.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 gets 6/10 stars. I just don't like Princess Peach and the gold coins' cause.
It's the only 3DS game I have, the rest are all for DS... It's so cool... you have freedom in driving modes and cars, you can customize your wheels and paragliders, and there are loads of cool new courses, characters and items...
Oh gosh is this game addicting. Even after you've unlocked all the charecters, there is is still TONS of replay value. Smash run was one of THE BEST ideas ever. Most characters are unique, with the exception of Lucina, Dr. Mario and Dork Pit. My favorite is veteran fighter Ness. I wish all fighting games were like this! The customization was a very good idea, and Ganondorf can FINALLY have a sword! The Mii Fighter is a very fun idea and I already have over 10. Overall, this is not just the best 3ds game, but the best fighting game EVER!
My favorite thing about this game is using unlicensed characters without violating Nintendo's terms due to Mii Fighters! I will download an Iron Man Mii and add HIM into the game in the Mii Gunner category!
This game is so addicting! This game should really be #1! It is so fun to take with you, even on vacation. You can customize your Mii, you can use custom items on your characters, too. Best game ever! Should be #1!
If you are reading this, you rock. If you are reading this and love this game, you won 1000$. If you are reading this and love this game, AND LOVE love LOVE Pokémon (like me), you are the best person. You are destinied for greatness! Congrats Pokemon fans!
I remember being 6 yrs old and making a whole bunch of voice recordings saying this and Mario kart 7 is the best game ever. I remember loving each bowser fight and the final bowser fight was really fun and had many too it. It was really cool running and jumping through levels. I think it was actually my first 3d Mario game. I played the two player Mario galaxy 2 but you just help get items so that doesn't count. Mario kart 7 is also good but I didn't have any friends who had a 3ds and had this or would be able to play with me so this is better.
The only thing I hate about this game is Princess Peach, having to rescue her, having to listen to her voice and having to see her cry when kidnapped by Bowser. I don't know how that even happened. Maybe Princess Peach was frozen asleep. I prefer to rescue Luigi.
Nonetheless, I love this game. I am still a beginner of this game.
As a mario game, it's a lot more lack luster compared to galaxy, world and 64. But as a 3DS game, and one that I got with my first 3DS, I can safely say that this is one of my favorite mario and 3DS games. it was also the first game I wanted to complete 100%, and it inspired me to do the same to galaxy, world, and 64.
This is the only 3ds game so far that makes me want to play it again and again. I like Mario kart 7 as well but it isn't the same (and also they cutted out waluigi). My vote is on super Mario 3d land
This game never ceases to amaze me. Its difficulty ranges from easy to extremely hard and has loads of customization for each character and the many classes. Great storyline, Nice graphics, a wonderful soundtrack, and you could find yourself playing this game many times without getting bored.
Possibly the greatest game for the 3DS so far. Otherwise, one of the greatest RPGs available right now!
If you know true gaming, then you love Fire Emblem: Awakening. Who can forget the intensity of losing teammates while at the same time falling in love with them!? The best 3DS game, and one outstanding RPG. As of right now, it's 7.R.. for real. Once you've tried it, you'll play it over again many times. Get this to Number 1!
A great storyline, detailed characters, brilliant soundtrack, a fun strategy game. It has difficulty to suit everyone. Makes you think things through too, especially on classic. It's also quite nice to use old characters on spotpass. Overall one of the best games on 3DS, and games in general.
This game is amazing, the Cut scene graphics, game play, freedom, story line and characters were amazing. Some people might complain about Chrom not being Marth, Ike or Roy but still, I felt all the new characters had unique and interesting personalities.
Best thing ever that I've played on my 3DS. I mean I got the 3DS when it first came out so I've played many games on that thing but this was by far the best one. My reason is that I just love the story line and how everything about it is creative and the graphics are awesome. I don't know about you but those kind of graphics are the most apealing to me. I would say that's it's one of my favorite games.
How can this be the best of all time? I always get bored with this game! Many other games do time travel better than this game does. I have the right to criticize it because, yes I beat this game. The side quests suck and tend to be really boring. What is the point I'm trying to make? It isn't worthy of the best video game of all time. Not the best Zelda game either. Tell me, what did Ocarina do right? Sure, it had all these Mechanics, but Majora's Mask has the same ones, and it's a much better game. The 3ds remake was my last temper...
I remember playing this game on the N64 back in the day and now I got it for the 3ds! It s the number one game ever made! It has really good graphics and the fighting is awesome too, along with epona and how you can play either as Link as a child or Link as an adult. it truly is a gaming masterpiece
I love Zelda games this one deserves to be number 1 good game the fans love it the people love it the whole wide world love it are you crazy this don't deserves to be number to this deserves to be number 1 its not just the number 1 on the N64 or 3DS it's the number 1 game of all time!
Even though this game was a copy of a Link to the Past, it was a great game that changed the story up and some other things, so that I was really into the game even though I have played a Link to the Past. And to me it's my favorite 3DS game to date, so much that when I lost it I was pretty sad and upset.
Why is this only number nine? It's an awesome game. Definitely deserves to be #1. Finally we have a Zelda game with no companions and freedom of choice. Best Zelda game since Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (they are also on 3DS, but I don't think remakes should be above a new game).
Hands down my favorite Zelda game since Wind Waker. So why wouldn't be at the top? In my opinion, this IS the the number 1 3ds game. And one of the best handheld games I have ever played.
My brother gave this to me a while ago, I'm stuck on a part because I have to have to move a rock to get to the place I need to go.
Not a game for the hardcore gamer, but that is what makes it so special. Animal Crossing is one of those games that you will enjoy most if you put as little effort as possible into it. Once you realize that, it becomes not only super relaxing but super fulfilling as well. I often find myself becoming proud of my town and attached to my villagers. Animal Crossing is the only game that has ever done that for me.
I don't understand why this isn't even higher on the list! This song has the number one soundtrack of the 3ds games and that feel good gameplay that makes you want to revisit it every day! Not to mention it has that way of making you feel like a terrible person whenever you don't play it for a long time because you get so attached to the characters and the game!
Not a competitive game like most of the others on this list. In fact, there's no combat system of any sort. But that doesn't take away from the value of this game as a whole. It's a very calm, sweet, and friendly game that is not only relaxing, but also very fun as well. Its simplicity and purity is enough to get an upvote from me as opposed to any other games on this list.
I used to love the game before my brother erased my town. it was so addictive and I spent two years of my life investing and investing and investing. now when I see it in my room, I start to cry because all my relaxing, fun filled town has been wiped.
the bug and fishing collections have also helped me a lot in reality. I actually caught a tarantula and scorpion!
thumbs up Nintendo!
I enjoyed the mix of new and old, which gave me a nostalgic feel while still giving new aspects to enjoy. The competitive scene was a lot easier to approach with the mini games.
Better than ocarina of time.
Mario Kart 7 number one? Well, I've neve rplaye dthat game so can't judge.
This is the best handheld game since Mario and luigi: partners in Time and Mario and Luigi: Bowser's inside story.
Although I was bothered by the Fairy-type, which I find OP, everything else they added was amazing.
It is great, first of all it is the number 1 selling 3ds game, plus it has Kanto, hoen, and other regions Pokemon with new ones like tyruntum. X is good to but yeveltal is better then xuaruas. And it is Pokemon.
Choosing one game is impossible, but I'll cast my vote for Kid Icarus because it's something new. Sure, there were two Kid Icarus games prior to this, but a) they look like they were completely different from this and b) they came out twenty years ago. The characters are hilarious. I especially love Palutena and Viridi. And the online multiplayer is super addicting. One more thing, you can definitely tell this was the same guy who made Super Smash Bros. The checklist works the same way, the Boss Battle works the same as All-Star Mode, and the Idol Toss is just like the Trophy Launcher or whatever it was called from Melee.
My favorite character Pit is the video game character I love the most. It's because he is heroic, funny, cool, friendly, and awesome character traits! I love Kid Icarus: Uprising because it has great graphics, it's adventurous and challenging. When I first got my New Nintendo 3DS XL, I got to chosse two games. I loved SSBB, so I got the SS for the 3ds. I found Kid Icarus Uprising and I looked on the back of the Game Box to see what it was about. I was interested in it, so I got it too. I keep playing it and then, all I dream about is Kid Icarus. Then, I started using Pit in Smash Bros and got so good with Pit, that he was my main. I also got good with Mario, Link, Kirby, Wii Fit Trainer, Dark Pit (since Dark Pit is similar to Pit) and Zelda. But Pit would always be my main. I got way better than all my friends who came to my house or I came to their house to play. When it was 2018 (two years since I got my 3ds) I went to the nintendo e3 and got to meet Plup who used Pit as one of his ...more
This is definitely one of my favorite games that I've ever played! It's got great gameplay, lovable characters, a good story that does not interfere with gameplay at all, it looks great for a 3DS game, and its got a great sense of humor! What more could you want in a game?
I just got the game last week. At first it was not bad. But the more and more I play, the most awesome it gets. I just can't stop playing when my parents say to turn it off. I mean like bruh, awesome action, music, and characters such as pit and dark pit. Those two are the best in my opinion. U guys should think it's the BEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE. Even if it's 40 bucks, it not a waste of money. Vote for that amazing that is called Kid Icarus:Uprising. PS I rather play that game than playing lenged of Zelda ocarina of time and a link between worlds.
It's one of the worst.
You lose very easily! Then all your hard work is gone and you have to do more hard work. So no. This game should get deleted off the list.
WAYY too high on the list. I think it's here simply because it's a Mario game. Eh, I don't care for this game at all.
Collecting all those coins is fun, not to mention the return of the flying Tanooki suit.
Great game. My friend just got in and its really good.
From the day I slotted in the game card, I wasn't able to stop playing. Then it was Animal Crossing: New Leaf and THEN Tomodachi Life. The possibilities in this game are ENDLESS. Your islanders keeping you busy, opening new places, experiencing a Rap Battle, falling in love and eventually having a baby! It also has interactive activities, such as magic shows and your Tomodachi's dreams. It is so fun, and I recommend it to anyone who loves role-playing.
I got this game last summer and ever since then I couldn't remove it from the game slot. it's so awesome. It just upgraded Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
But the bad thing is that my son fell in love with my brother's daughter, they're married now. it's actually not bad but crazy!
and then the food looks so heavenly an I love their reactions to the food.
the clothes are fashionable and some are whack. which is funny when I give whack clothes.
and I love the interior designs, they're the best!
not to forget all the events like Rap Battle, and the Compatibility Tester is just random.
Love Tomodachi Life
Tomodachi life SHOULD be in first place, because this game is so fun, it is so addicting. I was begging for this game and I got it. People kinda hate it because of love but, love problems is what makes the game even BETTER. So everybody you should play this game because it is so GOOD. You will love and play it and play it everyday.
I love this game with all it's funky weirdness. You could live next door to Shigeru Miyamoto and have your siblings fall in love with a fictional character from one of your favorite book series. It's so weird, but oddly fun to me at the same time. I don't regret buying it at all.
It was a little easy but addicting, I got my first two lv 100s in it and I played it for 8 hours one day!
Best pokemon game, much better than those awful rby games that just sucked.
It's amazing and beautiful and much better graphics than Black/White
I kinda feel bad voting a game that was originally on the N64 for a 3DS list, but I would feel worse not voting for it. Majora's Mask is easily one of my favorite games, if not my #1 favorite, of all time. Plus, being able take it on the go is a pretty amazing feeling.
It's a great game! I can't tell which is better, OoT or this!
As someone who has always thought that the Luigi's Mansion for the Gamecube was one of the best games of all time, I was stoked to play Dark Moon when I first got it. And I was far from disappointed. The graphics are brilliant, the story (while similar to the Gamecube version) is amazing, and with all the new ghosts and areas to explore, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will have you seriously entertained.
While I do feel that this game didn't really live up to the "horror" factor that its predecessor held, it was still great fun and I come back to it over and over again. Definitely worth your time and money.
Length (Got over 60 hours on this baby)
Personality (Luigi is SO dorky, funny but still feels like a hero)
Variety (Typical, Plants, Gears and Sand, Snow, and Muesuem)
Graphics (It just, well it looks pretty good)
Lacks a scary tone (Just saying, it does)
Lacks a great amount of ghosts
My Personal score is a 9.6/10
This is a very good game. My aunt gave it to me while I was in Alaska, and I have been playing it ever since. I have not gotten far, but the Poltergust is remade, and the Mansion is very intruiging. This game should be a lot higher; at least in the top ten. GET THIS GAME
This game has it all. More mansions, more enthusiastic ghosts, great graphics and sound editing for the console, and it's just plain fun.
Fighting huge monsters is really fun!
This game is awesome. I don't feel like going into details, but it is very good (but long). Also, why does everyone LOVE Superstar Saga and feel so MEH about partners in time? I feel the exact opposite. Superstar Saga was very good, but it was very unpolished and wasn't as immersive. Partners in Time, while dismissed by most, was actually very immersive, had great bosses, storyline, gameplay, and unique locations. I love Partners the most from this series. However, the other three are still VERY good so play them all!
Best Mario game of all-time to be honest... (I play more than 50 Mario games, so I know what I said). Great plot, great new place, good new characters, strong character personnalities, and the most violent Mario game with Mario Strikers Charged with E+10 (Smash Bros. doesn't count)
It was alright... I preferred Partners in Time if I'm being honest though... Luigi was hilarious in this game though!
This is my favorite for the system. I like it even better than Bowser's Inside Story.
This game is Kirby perfection! I do not have a single complaint about Triple Deluxe. It is my favorite 3ds game that is not a remake and also my 3rd favorite Kirby game. The visuals are the best in the series, the soundtrack is awesome (as usual), best mini games since Amazing Mirror, the story is surprisingly better than expected (at least for Kirby standards), and getting 100% completion was refreshingly difficult. For me, it was probably the biggest challenge to complete since Super Star. All in all, Triple Deluxe is a perfect game for any 3ds owner.
I LOVE Kirby Triple Deluxe. it is challenging because I can't get the 100% completion. I've gotten almost everything, the sun stones, the keychains, except completing True Arena.
Dark Meta Knight's Revenge takes almost my whole life before I go through Soul of Sectonia.
I have it and will never get tired of it. it is a year old now
This may not be the be-all, end-all Kirby game, but I still wish it was higher.
Kirby is a great game. This one is 10 times better than it. All new abilitys and great gameplay. 10/10
I love the N64. It is such an inspiration to the 3DS. Star Fox 64 is a wondrous, heavenly video game and its 3DS remake? A modern classic! Now, let's see these classic N64 video games and their 3DS remake.
There is Star Fox 64 3D. There is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Can't there be a Super Mario 64 3DS?! Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64 is my favorite video game of all time.
I agree with the above comment! The 3ds needs to come out with n64 originals. I would love to see them release Kirby 64 and donkey kong 64 on 3ds. Although I think the reason super Mario 64 is not on 3ds is because it was released again on the original ds. Still though, it would be cool to have a version on 3ds with enhanced graphics.
This game... Is actually really fun! I love the Happy Home Network and the custom designs mean you could create a Mario level, a Chanel boutique, a Pokemon pixel art store... The amiibo card feature is ok, I suppose, although not necessary.
I really like this game, I like that you can decorate houses in anyway you like!
Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition is a fighting video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo 3DS handheld game console. It is a port of the console game Super Street Fighter IV.
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition plays much like the console version, Super Street Fighter IV. It plays like a traditional fighting game, utilizing 3D backgrounds and 3D characters on a 2D plane. It has two primary modes: single-player and multi-player, the latter mode which supports both online and local play. Other modes include Team Battle, which supports up to eight players; Replay Channel, which allows players to view and share replays with others online; and rival battles, which features a dialogue sequence between two characters which depends on who they are. The battles take place between two opponents, of whom each have their own health meter that the opponent has to deplete by attacking each other. Players win a match by either depleting the opponent's health or merely ...more
A return to form with its throwback to the sidescrolling days of super metroid, fusion, and zero mission. Finally a chance to play a full Nintendo remade version of the most obscure game in the metroid franchise that connects the original and super metroid to 1 cohesive plot.
This is easily one of the most visually stunning and smooth running games on the 3ds in both 2D and 3D modes. This game is definitely on par with the likes of A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7. Give it a year or two and this game will no doubt be a quintessential part of any respectable 3ds owners collection.
Falls into the same "Samus becoming ridiculously overpowered during the late game" trap as all of the other ones, but the amount of new features it has makes up for it in my opinion
(however, the Metroids' patterns definitely could have been a bit less predictable if you ask me)
This should go way higher. The game looks to be the best in the entire main series so far.
Admit it XY fanboys
Gen 7 is best!
Believe me guys, you can't get any better graphics than this game on the 3DS! It's the only mature Survival Horror and action game on 3DS. If you watch the graphics comparison video of RE Revelation 3DS vs Xbox 360 then you'll be amazed to see that 3DS is doing 95% close to 360 in this game!
One of the best Resident evil games ever and it is the best 3DS game ever made. Go for it!
A sick, awesome game, deserves a much higher spot on the list, just based on quality, replay value, and getting your time/money's worth out of the game.
This list is terrible this is the best 3DS game and best resident evil game. (I have played them all)
Really cool (and scary) game!
