Sadly, I had to vote here in order to point out that Freddie and Queen are nowhere near the top of lists of this kind. Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, and many more are far greater in the pantheon of rock history, and comparing Queen to The Beatles or even LZ is patently absurd.

He IS (not was) the best singer, frontman of all time.
He was a very good musician also, a super song writer and a talented piano player.
There could never be another Freddie.
