They are universally known to be very protective of what they own. I have one from Germany, and to most everyone he meets, he is extremely friendly. He also can tell if someone's trying to be sneaky. Plus, factually the most bite pressure of any dog breed, half as much as a Tyrannosaurus Rex. #1

Rottweilers should be higher than 5. They are the most protective guard dogs I know. They have the strongest grip in the teeth and are very loving to humans. They are active, playful, loyal dogs. Plus, I've never even heard of the Boerboel before.

Have you seen these dogs? I own one and it's BIG! Very strong and mine is very aggressive to anyone but me and my boyfriend.

These dogs cannot be brought down and will keep going no matter what. I would not want to be on the receiving end of that bite.

  6. Argentinian Mastiff

Very smart, easy to train, loves her family. If socialized with farm animals, is very tolerant of them, including goats, cats, horses, and other smaller dogs. Loves to ride shotgun in our big truck. Got a CGC at 11 months. She house trained herself. She was shipped from Florida at 10 weeks and upon arrival, her crate was sealed, clean, and dry. Awesome dog, i.e. Dogo. Can't say enough good about her. Great companion, too.

This would be the ultimate dog if it wasn't so independent! Amazing dogs if you have livestock to be guarded.
